Rudy Youngblood's website is "temporarily unavailable." Perhaps this is a good sign. The "cache" remainder still contains his introduction to that original site. He said,
Thank you for visiting my website. You will see, it is a work in progress and we will be updating it on a regular basis adding new photos, video, the latest news, etc. So, please check back often!

Rudy Youngblood, (25?), with fake
Indian hair, and few extra pounds
on that very un-Indian shaped body.
Indeed. With as many misrepresentations and false information as he and his Michelle R. (Hall) "Shining Elk" have continually provided, Rudy's metamorphasis is most definitely "a work in progress." As each of his lies is exposed, he will have to alter his presentation. This is pathetic, and vicserally offensive to Indian people. It is a disgrace to all tribes, especially the ones from whom Rudy has falsely claimed membership or "descent." It is all a lie. The only thing was can be sure of is that he is partly black, as the Bad Eagle Journal pointed out last September--and that is only by visual reference. Yes, Wikipedia and IMDb say that Rudy's mother is "half black," but no one ever requires validation of such a racial claim.

It is becoming more and more difficult to believe any claim Rudy has made. Many sites say "He is known as 'Tee-Dee-Nae' (which means 'Strong Boy')", but none say what language that is. It certainly isn't Comanche. And no one knows who knows him as "Tee-Dee-Nae." Just another Rudy fantasy?
December's People said Rudy is 25. The IMDb says Rudy graduated from highschool in 2000. This is 2006, almost 2007. Does that mean he was quite late in graduating, like what, at 19? IMDb says "his parents" made him graduate before they would let him do anything else. What parents? Who are they? Rudy has lied repeatedly about who and what he is.
It will be curious to note what changes take place on the new Rudy "Gonzalez" "Youngblood" website. Will he still claim to be American Indian? He has claimed to be Cree, Comanche, and Yaqui. He is none of these, by blood. He has merely associated with a family here and there. As far as his false Comanche claim, BadEagle.com has varified that he is no blood kin. He associated with a Tahchawwickah family for a time. That's all.
On an interesting blogspot, ApocalyptoWatch, we note that Rudy claimed to be Sioux and perhaps Cheyenne. On a March 11, 2006 entry, Rudy is quoted:
I also have ancestors who fought at Wounded Knee and Little Big Horn, so it's not hard to use my Native American heritage for this role.
There is apparently no limite to this fantasy of being Indian--in Rudy's mind. Any tribe. Pick a tribe. All tribes. It is unbelievable, and really kind of sad.
However, it is also professional fraud, and Rudy will face a legal suit, in due time. American Indians have established federal laws about protecting Indian artists. Rudy is so far out of line that his whole world will come tumbling down, and soon. His manager, Michelle R. (Hall) "Shining Elk" will be crushed as well, if she does dissassociate from him altogether. Icon flims, and even Disney, as well as Mel Gibson, have all been snowed, willingly or unknowingly. There will be a major reaction in the future.
Non-Indians (whites and especially blacks) have succeeded in procuring for themselves federal status as an Indian "tribe" so that they can establish tax-free casinos; they've had plenty of help from crooked politicians, syndicated owners, land developers, and international money lauderers. But who is behind Rudy? Is this just a fluke? Did he just get lucky?
Indians will stop this immediately. Rudy is over--as a fake Indian. This, the biggest case of Indian identity theft since Ward Churchill, is the last of it's kind. The days when a non-Indian can fake being Indian in Hollywood are over. Iron Eyes Cody, the Sicillian Espera De Corti, was perhaps the first major case of it. But as of 2000, the Indian Arts and Crafts Enforcement Act forbids artistic fraud. Rudy is in the most bizarre and utterly flagrant violation of this law.

The "crying Indian, Iron Eyes Cody,
last of the Sicilian Indians. At least he
looked more like an Indian.
The stakes are very high today. Indian cannot afford more fraud. We suffer enough as it is from the pressures the casino business has created. We do not need Hollywood fraud on top of that.
Rudy did not create the circumstances which provided the opportunity for him. He merely took advantage of them. As an obviously manipulative liar, he combined is obvious talents and charm to become a kind of vortext of fraud. The globalist approach to race, the Communist, racist principle of pitting all the dark races against the Western whites, combined with Gibson's story of Indians abusing other Indians, all created the perfect storm. The perfect intersection of racism, racial fraud, as well as cultural rape, theft, and Hollywood success.
All Rudy did was lie, and he became the center of it all.
He might have been smart enough to plot out the path for himself. He might have known that to claim every Indian tribe in the Western Hemisphere would land him any "Indian" part. He might have had a major "role" in landing the role in Gibson's movie. We don't know when exactly Michelle R. (Hall) "Shining Elk" became his manager, or what part exactly she played in selling him to Gibson, if any. The point is, all this will be sorted out legally, in the near future. The matter is expedient.
In the mean time, Indian girls should steer clear of him. We know one has already had a child by Rudy. Indian girls should show respect for their own people. Parents should be teaching them that respect.
It appears that Saddam Hussein, former tyrannical dictator of Iraq will be executed just hours from now. The United States military authorities, who guard Hussein in custody, may presently hand him over to the Iraqi government for execution. The latest radio news reports say that it will be 10:00 pm tonight, Eastern Standard Time, which will be 6:00 am in Iraq. The execution would come at the beginning of a Muslim holiday season, Eid. (Eid al Adha is the Feast of Sacrifice, commemorating Abraham's willingness to sacrifice his son Isaac [Gen. 22], which, according to the blasphemous Qur'an [2:127] was Ismael instead of Isaac.) Some think this is good timing. Others think it is terrible timing.

In this photo released by the Iraqi Special Tribunal, former Iraqi leader Saddam
Hussein is seen as he is questioned by Chief Investigative Judge Raid Juhi, not seen,
in this Aug. 23, 2005 file photo at an unknown location. An Iraqi judge said Friday Dec.
29, 2006 that Saddam Hussein will be executed by Saturday at the latest and lawyers
representing him say the condemned former leader is no longer in U.S. custody.

NPR's Robert Seigel interviewed Kurdish spokesman Najmaldin Karim this evening. Karim says the full crimes of Hussein have not been exposed, nor his accomplises, nor the nations who supported him, etc. This execution would end all the investigations. The truth will never be fully known, and justice will thus not be served at all.
It's an interesting perspective. How evil does a man have to be before his execution is justified? Is this execution about justice, or closure, or politics, or expedience? Of course, some people still don't believe in the death penalty at all.
Execution is indeed rather bizarre. The Left wing of the world bases its evaluation of execution solely on emotional, subjective, or myoptic terms. It seems barbaric that a man should be 'socially murdered,' by the will of the people. The poor, helpess man is killed, without defense, without a struggle. It seems like a barbaric sacrifice of some kind. Why, it has to be terribly wrong. Never mind what he did to other people. Never mind the imagined point of view of his dead or maimed victims, or their families and friends. Just look at the poor murderer, being murdered himself, by consensus. Isn't it wrong to do this wrong to him? How can two wrongs make a right? How can this be just?
Ever since John Rawls published A Theory of Justice in 1971 (revised in 1999), articulations about social venues of justice have been topics of great debate in the American legal system. In Chapter 8, "The Sense of Justice," Rawls defines a "well-ordered" society: "one designed to advance the good of its members and effectively regulated by a public conception of justice" (p.453, 1972 edition). Execution is a public decision? Execution is agreed upon by the society as means of justice, not just a deterrent (--that neologism of Left). But, to see a single man, essentially "murdered" by society, without physcial defense, without a fight, puts the matter in a visceral emotional dimension which the Left cannot bear.
The Left is myopic. It cannot, or will not see the larger picture. For all its claims to promote the good of society, indeed a "well-ordered" society, the Left makes its decisions on animalistic emotionalism. The immediate reactions. The gut level responses. Almost a Pavlov Dog reaction. Leftists are programmed, "trained" if you please, to respond to any sense of prepared, identified wrong, like the dog was trained to respond to the bell. The executed criminal is put to death without a chance to defend himself, physically. Therefore, it looks like a willing sacrifice, a cruel act of the executioners. Ah, but it's not the executioners. It's the law. The people made the law.
The people decided that certain individuals are not worthy of life amongst the people, even among other prisoners. The criminal is only getting exactly what he dealt out to others.
But this requires intellect to compprehend. The Left eschews intellect. Intellect is subversive and dangerous. Only the emotions will lead aright. That's the Leftist approach to reality. The Left cannot abstract, it can only emote.
Whether Saddam is executed now or later doesn't really matter with respect to the morality of the decision and it's implementation. Mr. Karim has an execellent point about the future revelations which would be curtailed, if Hussein is executed now. But that isn't an argument about the death penalty itself. That's about making it count, or, making the remainder of Hussein's life count, for the most number of people. The wrongs haven't even been fully determined yet. They have not been documented. They have not been examined. Saddam Hussein did not work alone.
In any case, should any person feel the slightest remorse for Saddam Hussein, the slightest sympathy, the slightest compassion, just remember that the death penatly is historical and universal. The dream that society would be better off without it has abstolutely no basis in history. That dream is a self-dependent argument, based on the autolytic logic that says, "How could history be any worse? Don't we need to at least try something else?" The answer is simple: history has been this bad with the death penalty. Dare we afford worse conditions by removing it?
My personal notion is that the execution of Saddam Hussein will have a profound psychological effect. It is a deep message of hope. There is right and wrong in the world. There are consequences. The people of Iraq are not abandoned to drug thugs, tyrannists, and Leftist media. This is a grand moment, really, for the world, as well as for Iraq. Not to offer any illusion of value to Saddam Hussein personally, but his execution means much more than his death.
If there is one thing that the Rudy "Youngblood" story proves, it's that American Indian identity is very special. BadEagle.com has time and time again noted how precious this identity is, and how anxious every brown skin in the Western hemisphere is to be called American Indian (not to mention the Ward Churchills). It's obviously worth lying about.
Oklahoma Indian tribes seem willing to recongize the non-Indian Rudy because of the money they can raise through his appearances. Chickasaw Nation governor Bill Anoatubby has endorced Rudy, as well as Comanche chairman Wallace Coffey. They've already invested money in Rudy for the expected returns.
This is all terribly interesting. Many people don't see any problem with Indian identity. Why, you never question anyone who claims he's Indian. You claim it, and it's good. Some people think BadEagle.com is neurotic and cruel for pursuing poor Rudy. But, for argument's sake, let's turn the tables around a bit. Suppose someone claimed he was Jewish, who wasn't. I know a Jewish family in Hamden, Connecticut who told friends that they had adopted me. I did spend a lot of time with them. I had sabbath dinners with them, went to services with them, and had many long conversations with the grandfather. But, would I ever claim I was Jewish? Heavens no. I have too much love and respect for Jewish people. Would I try to land a movie part claiming I was Jewish? Would I even try to be a writer with a Jewish name? No I would not. I don't think Jewish people would appreciate it, either.

Yemenite Jewish wedding, in Israel. I've been to some fancy Jewish weddings,
but nothing like this. Can you imagine an Eskimo trying to fake such a culture?
What if a white man claimed to be Negro, and went around posing as a spokesman for black people? How far would he get? He doesn't look black! you say. Well, there are some members of the Caucasian race who are swarthy enough to be considered mulatto. Black people might find it curious, even amusing, but no one would consider the poor honky a Negro. Why would they? It would be a interesting social joke, at best.
But, when it comes to being Indian, it's a very different story. Why is it a different story? That is the ultimate question. Rudy Youngblood isn't Indian at all. He has darker coloring. That's all. He isn't even demonstrably Yaqui, his original claim. The Pascua Yaqui obtained federal recognition in 1978, and established their enrollment base in 1980. This is a serious tribe, of some 15,000 members. The Yaqui were always a separate, unconquered tribe of northwestern Mexico. They were borderline, and many lived within what is today the United States. But the not only never heard of Rudy Youngblood, but the woman I spoke with hadn't even heard of the movie Apocalypto. Sound like Rudy is Yaqui? Why are people not so careful with the American Indian identity? Why can someone like Rudy get by with claiming to be Indian? Why is he allowed this special privilege? Does Hollywood decide now who's Indian and who isn't?

Execution of Yaqui Indians during the Mexican Revolution. These were
among the assimilated Mexicans. The tribal Yaquis escaped involvement..
I don't know of another race with such a powerful, magical identity as that of the American Indian. It is a fascinating sociological phenomenon. Rudy has made great sport of it, but, the truth is, he couldn't have unless Indian identity is what it is.
Rudy for a time was even claiming he was Sioux. He said he had ancestors at Wounded Knee. There is no limit to Rudy's feigned Indianness. Ignorant whites like Mel Gibson ate it up. Rudy was fascinating. He was the embodiment of all things American Indian--except the blood. He was Canadian Indian, American Indian, and Mexican Indian. How could Mel resist such a claim? What I don't understand is why the other Indians involved in the movie didn't call Rudy's hand. How did Rudy actually get the part? That's the untold story, or the story that's already been told in a false manner.
The point is, the Indian identity is so very powerful that to just claim it, to just say you're Indian, the world stands aside. Or, you get a movie part. Or, you get a professorship. Of course, it actually helps if you're not Indian. That part, connected with the claim of being Indian, is what gives those in charge the sense of free-wheeling identity so precious in fantasy land like Hollywood, or the American univeristy campus. The true "show" Indian you are. In order to be a real "show" Indian, you mustn't actually be Indian, but just claim you are. Yes, that's the forumla.
The Rudy "Youngblood" story is not over. It will continue. I'm predicting he won't get another part on the basis that he is Indian. No one will bother believing that anymore. He is a black hispanic. However, he has proven himself able to perform in a variety of ways. He may get more movie parts, but it is not likely they will be Indian parts. He'll be taking hispanic and black roles. He will become the champion of all non-whites in the Western hemisphere. He will be Mr. Indigenous. He will be the liberal's dream. The racist liberals want to make all the non-white races into one giant global, brown bowl movement, ineviscerable, before which the European whites will forever cower in fear and loathing.
All under the name of the American Indian, of course. Hawaiians (Pacific Islanders) are in. Philippinos (Asians) are in. Now a black hispanic is in. As BadEagle.com predicted, it is only a matter of time before the African Negro is hailed as an American Indian, "indigenous," in the National Museum of the American Indian. Rudy has helped open the door.
The New York Daily News today posted an article on what it calls "hypecasting." "Mel and Sly hit for hypecasting." Two movies are cited: Mel Gibson's Apocalypto, and Sly Stallone's Rocky Balboa. The draw of a movie has a lot to do with who's starring in it, obviously. Gibson wanted a 'catch-all' indigenous cast for Apocalypto, and Stallone supposedly insisted on starring himself in another Rocky. The Rudy "Youngblood" idnetity issue was put in the context of movie casting--an interesting take.

Mel Gibson and the 'made-over' Sly Stallone
The NYDN quotes BadEagle.com ("Comanche blogger, David Yeagley"), the Comanche tribal administrator, Gene Peka, as well as Rudy's "manager" Michelle R. (Hall) "Shining Elk" and Rudy's "bio."
I know that NYDN also spoke with Comanche Nation chairman Wallace Coffey, and other tribal members, including people who know the Tahchawwicka family members. BadEagle.com has been contacted by members as well. The information is contradictory, but not from the Tahchawwicka family. Only from tribal leadership.
BadEagle.com was first told that Preston Tahchawwicka had adopted two children, and the implication was that he had no children of his own. However, as of this weekend, a middle aged man was contacted, who is a blood son of Preston. This man (whose full name shall be withheld until permission is granted to reveal it) says that Rudy is no kin to the Tahchawwickas at all. This Comanche man, a blood son of Preston, and whose name is Tahchawwicka, was highly offended when told that Rudy claimed the same father. He had not heard that Rudy had even claimed it until told this weekend.
Rudy is most definitely not on the Comanche Nation enrollment list, and never has been (unless BadEagle sources are faulty). Rudy has never gone by the name Tahchawwicka, either.
Michelle R. (Hall) "Shining Elk" reports to NYDN that Rudy "once used his Mexican stepfather's surname, Gonzalez." Rudy has apparently always gone by that name, until he started up with the "Yougblood" movie name. The manager's report is wholly misleading, and bespeaks even deeper ambiguity.
In a day when Indian identity carries such high stakes, such intentional ambiguity bespeaks fraud--the kind one can sue for. There are Tahchawwickas who intend to do something about this matter.
There is the matter of a simple birth certificate. And there is also the matter of absent fathers and lying mothers. Anyone in social work knows of this rampant manipulation of the system. It is a great embarrassment to Indian pride, but Indian people are deeply involved in dysfunctional families and the resultant confusion, legal hazards, and financial circumstances attending. There are large numbers of illegitimate children fathered by irresponsible Indian men and loose Indian women. This is a fact, whether Indian people want to admit it or not. It is public now. Rudy is possibly a perfect example of it. Rudy's free-wheeling identity image is degrading all respectable Indians.
If Rudy ends up claiming to be an illegitimate child of Preston Tahchawwicka, this involves an outrageous assault on the Tahchawwicka family. Rudy will have to prove it, or suffer the consequences of libel. If Rudy is not such a son, if he is lying about it, the case is even more offensive. It is one or the other. If the Tahchawwicka family comes forward and says, Yes, Rudy is a son of Preston, everyone can live with that. The reluctance of Rudy to even make this claim until extreme pressure was put on him--that is understandable also. If the Tahchawwicka family says No, then Rudy is in deep trouble. He will then have to be known as the biggest Indian fraud since Ward Churchill.
The NYDN piece shows that selling the movie is the priority, not truth, not fact, not actuality. Rudy's 'fantasy' of being Canadian Indian (Cree), American Indian (Comanche), and Mexican Indian (Yaqui) is what made BadEagle.com suspicious to begin with. Rudy wanted to be all Indian, all the time. He wanted to be a continential Indian, a hemispheric Indian. The ultimate indigenous. It was the perfect casting for Gibson's purposes. But it is turning out that Rudy is none of the above. He is simply a black hispanic, of which there are many. He is quite talented, with a winsome smile, but, he is not Indian. There's certainly no crime in being a mestiso/black. But there is crime in claiming to be Indian, particularly Comanche, when you're not. I will not accept this, ever. Nor should anyone else.
Of course, non-Indians have no idea how important being Indian is to Indians. That's a given. Other races couldn't care less about their own race. Racial denigration is common, especially among liberal whites--who are out to destroy all racial distinction, as their Communist godfather Marx intended. But it won't work with Indians. They've made great strides, identifying all non-whites in the western hemisphere as "indigenous," thus "native" and thus American Indian. It's all been a slick word game, a manoeuver of linguistic usurpation, a word grab. But BadEagle.com has certainly opposed it, and will continue to do so.
This is for the sake of all Indians, all ethnicities, and all nations.
NEWS FLASH: Information just related to BadEagle.com this morning. Rudy "Youngblood" Gonzales spent some time with Preston Tahchawwicka in recent years. He was 'accepted as family.' He is no blood kin. This is another Indian "adoption," the same as Rudy claims of the SlimJohn Cree family (as yet not contacted). This is Rudy's grand scheme to be Mr. Indigenous, Mr. Continental Indian. BadEagle.com was correct from the beginning. Rudy is not an illegitimate child. Rudy is simply not Indian. Not Comanche, not by blood. It was a lie, the very lie on his recently altered web site.
To the unbeliever, a virgin birth means an illegitimate birth. Nothing more. The story of Mary and her esteemed child appears to be a story of an unwanted birth, certainly unwanted in the eyes of Joseph, the fiance of Mary. It took an angel of God to convince Joseph to stay with the pregnant girl.

Mary and her 'fatherless' child: a miracle, or simply a
social disgrace. Sacred or sinful; divine, or just 'human.'
To the believer, the virgin birth means a miracle, and represents the supreme testimony of the divinity and identity of Jesus. In the beginning, God created Adam, and from man, made a woman. But in the story of the virgin birth, God took a woman, and from her made a man. Twenty-six chromosomes of the seed of Abraham, and twenty-six chromosomes of the divine--in human form, transformed into human cells. This is Jesus Christ, Son of Man, Son of God.
In contemplating this story, I have reconsidered the Rudy "Youngblood" story. This young man, who has not been willing or able to identify himself normally, who has claimed adopted names, lately claimed real names, and confused names, has somehow brought up some interesting parallels to the story of Jesus.
Rudy presents himself to the world without knowing who he is, without the most basic protocols of communication. He begins with a false, "Hollywood" name, then gives adopted Indian names; then his legal name comes to light, and it is found to be an adopted name itself; then he professes to be the son of a dead man, whose closest living relatives know nothing of Rudy, and he doesn't look like them in any way. His race is mixed, and to all appearances, Mexican (typical mestiso) and Negro (black). He has involved himself in Indian culture to a professional degree, to the point of landing a movie role as an Indian, at first claiming to be Canadian Indian (Cree), American Indian (Comanche), and Mexican Indian (Yaqui). These claims have been found false, denied or explained otherwise. (BadEagle.com has most recently learned that a living son of Preston Tahchawwicka completely denies any knowledge of Rudy, and denies any validity to Rudy's claim to Preston Tahchawwicka.)
But the matter of claiming to be the son of Preston Tahchawwicka, that is the crux of the matter now. To make such a claim is a outrageous affront to the Tahchawwicka family, for it means that Rudy was an illegitimate child which no one knew about but Rudy's mother--whoever she actually is. (BadEagle.com was told it is Roberta (Rangel) Gonzales. This is probably the black mother, married to a Gonzales. BadEagle.com was told that Rudy was adopted by Mr. Gonzales.) Otherwise, the claim to be Indian is a criminal lie, for which he can and should be sued. To claim the Tahchawwicka name, two years after Preston died, is too suspicious. This is not the way Indian people behave at all, even if Rudy were an illegitimate child of Preston's.
Now, the Christman spirit certainly requires a careful reconsideration of this whole matter. Jesus Himself was, in a very real way, an unidentified child. No one but his mother knew with absolute certainty who Jesus really was. (Joseph had been told by an angel, but, still, he had to believe that. It took faith.) The mystery is this: Mary and Joseph did not announce to the world that Jesus was a miracle child. It would come to be understood, if anything was known of it, that the child was a premarital, "out-of-wedlock" child. A "had to get married" situation, although Mary and Joseph were engaged.
Throughout the story of Jesus, in all four gospels, and in all the writings of Paul, not once is the virgin birth cited as a testimony to the divinity of Christ. (Please read that again). Indeed, "his mother kept all these saying in her heart." "Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart." Luke 2: 51; 19. This means that everyone later assumed Jesus was the son of Joseph, one way or another, before or after marriage. Whoever knew the couple in Nazareth during their engagement would have to assume it was Joseph's child.
What could he say? It wasn't his child. But to say that was to call it a bastard child. To say that was to deny the divine revelation to himself. To say that was to require others to believe it, or else they would consider him a liar, or the child a bastard, or both.
The entry of God into this world was an impossible moral dilemma. For Jesus to be His divine Self, He would have to enter in a manner normally recognized as sin, under sin, in sin. Illegitimate. "Born of fornication," as the Pharisees once derided. (John 8:41). The label was inescapable except as one had faith. One believed Jesus was divine, that Mary was virgin, or one believe He was simply an child of sin. (Most people forget, marriage is sacred. Sex is reserved for marriage. This is the ordained concept. Anything else, and any results therefrom, is called sin.)
Thus entered the world the Son of God. It was through was through the appearance of what was normally considered sin.
Of the many, many children that enter like Rudy, we must allow a certain compassion. They cannot help the nature of their origins. They themselves should find courage in the story of the Redeemer, who Himself came into the world under the same shadow. Of course, those children who have been passed around from family to family, abused, neglected, unloved, lost, are very far from the kind of parenting Jesus had. That is a fact.
Some Indians have called Rudy typical. Many Indians have practiced a free-wheeling sense of family. Indiscriminate sexual relations, numerous illegitimate children, and the grandmothers clean up the mess. Indian land is kaku land. Grandmother territory.
I say this is a disgrace, nonetheless. Loose living does not a family make. Irresonsible men do not a nation build. I was asked once by a college student, "Why do you think white civilization became stronger?" I answered in one word: "Monogomy." Family. Marriage. One man, one woman, parenting. No Hillary Clinton-style "It Takes a Village." That may have seemed appropriate for the old days, and heaven knows I'm a stickler for the old ways, but, in this case, in modern times, illicit, careless, irresponsible sexual relations and superficial reproduction is destructive, the ruination of a people. Rudy is epitomical of the problem.
This is Rudy's case. According to information given to BadEagle.com, he has already fathered one child in Oklahoma, (BadEagle.com respectfully withholds the tribe and family name), and seems fond of spending time with Indian girls. Of course, fathering a child by an Indian girl doesn't make Rudy Indian. It only makes him guilty of perpetuating exactly the same kind of nonsense life that was dumped on him. It makes him do unto others--not as he would have had done for him, but as was done unto him. He is perpetuating irresponsibility.
While we want to have the very deepest sympathy for a young person like Rudy, especially at a time like Christmas, when the very story of Jesus reminds us of unwanted pregnancy, illegitimate children, and the desacration of marriage. Yet, the willful indulgence and perpetuation of the same, the professional aggrandizement of the same, and above all, the false association with American Indians--if indeed Rudy is the liar he appears to be, make this special Christmas sympathy nearly impossible.
If Rudy is the manipulating, conniving "bastard" he appears to be, he should be hung. Jailed, tried, and hung. If his is in fact an illegitimate son of an American Indian father--for which there is no support or evidence by word or writing at this time, then BadEagle.com will be the very first to support Rudy "Youngblood." Rudy simply needs to tell all, now. The Negroe mother, or father; the Indian mother, or father; the Mexican mother, or father; this is what Rudy needs to identity. Perhaps his "parents" are all liars. Perhaps he will never know who he is. The ball is in his court now. It is his turn to play his hand. Every minute he delays is evidence that he is a manipulative liar, whatever his other talents, however successful he is with them.
No, the Bible does not use the Virgin Birth as a polemic to evince the divinity of Jesus, although it is the most basic, telling evidence. Nor did Jesus himself once refer to it. When Peter said, "Thou art the Christ, the son of the living God," is is quite clear that he did not have the Virgin Birth in mind. This miracle of miracles was hidden from everyone, deep in the heart of Mary. It is a feminine thing, to keep such things inside. Remember Hester Prynne, in Nathaniel Hawthorne's Scarlet Letter (1850)? When put on the stand, to publicly reveal the sinner whose illegitimate child she held, Hester would not say. Indeed, it was "wronging the very nature of woman to force her to lay open her heart's secrets in such broad daylight." The daylight of the world was not so severe that Mary herself ever paraded the Virgin Birth. The Virgin Birth was never made the foundation of Jesus' identity. His divinity was to be understood from his character, words, and his miraculous works, and finally, his willing death by crucifixion.
These are very deep considerations. Secrets, truths, and realities of life.
I could be that Rudy has such considerations in his life. Then again, it could be that he is simply a blasphemous liar, in the inevitable lair of deceit which he inherited. I trust the truth will come out in due time, as it usually does. All will be better off, including Rudy. True compassion is sometimes like medicine. It burns. It hurts. But it heals. I pray that these pursuits are of a healing nature, and I pray that my own motivations are sincere, and worthy. Every human being needs compassion, no matter how hardened, ill-willed, or evil. I will also protect the integrity of American Indian identity. Surely, these things can be resolved.
First it was Tara Conner, Miss USA, who was called on the carpet for her misconduct. Now it's Miss Nevada, Katie Rees. Of course, the media itself never gets arraigned in its presentation of these stories. The media is a dictatorial, protected, private enterprise. But in the case of the media coverage on these girls, we can say the media seems actually naive.
Donald Trump, owner of Miss USA and precursor pageants (state levels), dramatized the 'role model' responsibility of Miss USA when Tara Conner apparently over-played her hand. The media called her a "party girl," and she had clearly done a good deal of under-aged drinking. She was also allegedly found to have some cocain traces in her blood. Trump severely reprimanded her, but kindly gave her a second chance. Tara is in rehab, with crown in tact.

Trump forgiving Tara, Tuesday, 12-19, 2006
Some media commentators had written Tara up as an innocent country girl, corrupted by the big city. Tara (from a small Kentucky town) came to live in New York City, and was just swept away with the glitz, the glamour and the fast lane. Thus they accounted for it all, indirectly bragging on their own worldiness, while self-righteously acknowledging the romantic innocence of 'country' life--of which they obviously know nothing.
Country life is not innocent. Tara was a party girl all along. The most basic knowledge of psychology would avow that, were she truly innocent, and were she suddenly so immersed in the party life of New York, she would have had a mental breakdown by now. The social contrasts would have been unbearable. But this wasn't the case. She was fine. Living it up, like she obviously well knew how to do. (Miss Teen, Katie Blair, who partied with Tara, has also been rebuked by MADD. Mothers Against Drunk Driving has disassociated itself with Blair.)
Katie Rees, Miss Nevada 2006, was another 'wordly' wench from the start. These girls don't rise to the level of glamour they have achieved on innocence. Katie celebrated her crown, Miss Nevada, by pornographic, homosexual pictures. This was 'dumber' than dumb. This was more foolish that Tara publically whooping it up in big city bars--as Miss USA--knowing she was illegally drinking. Katie Rees gets the dunce cap, or the crown for stupidity. Trump fired her. Trump is trying to set some kind of decent standard here. Something's wrong somewhere.

Katie Rees, dethroned Miss Nevada
Maybe this kind of loose life style is in fact 'Miss America.' Maybe this is just what young girls do. Maybe that's why they sensed nothing improper. Dissipation is the decor.
Rosie O'Donnell's comic rebuke of Trump's personal double-standards, demanding a moral image from the girls when he himself has kept no such standard, is deserving, but not really the point. The point is the written contract, the known standards the girls agreed to keep. (Never mind Rosie's personal "standards.")
Perhaps the problem here is youth itself. That means that the real problem is the failure of our adulthood. Society in America is glamorous. Many people live to fill an image of some kind, an image created for them by the media. It is a half-fantasy life, Americans live. Young people think they are supposed to lie, supposed to be manipulative, supposed to party, drink, do some drugs, and be sexually experienced and uninhibited. Homosexuality is cutting edge fast lane--part of the image Britney Spears and Madonna helped established. Female homosexual acts are supposed to turn voyeuristic men on.
It's all in the image. And the image is bad. Katie Rees and Tara Conner fulfilled images, very popular images. This is the way it is for young people. Acting out bad images. Immoral images. Bad is good. Bad is cool. Bad is money!
This kind of confusion of values is predominant in our American society. When moral confusion is established, the only thing the social architects agree on is charity. Give money to Africa, adopt African children, and don't hate anyone. That's it. That's the ticket to supreme moral elevation. You are tops, when you can 'tolerate' any, all, or no standards, and when you can give money to the poor.
Rudy Youngblood, one of the stars of Mel Gibson's Apocalyto, fulfills the same image of confusion. He cannot or will not identify his family. It is possible that he doesn't even know for sure. That fits the aura of confusion, the ambience of mystery. That accentuates the most youthful sentiment of all: irresponsibility. Rudy's truly not responsible for the confusion of his parents. Some Indians are trying to hold him up as youth role model, because he's a movie star, in the fast lane. But lying about his identity is no solution. But, again, lying is the trend. So-called adults have set the pace. The media, always so impartial and neutral, loves to report lies. It is exciting, apparently.
This is youth, today: studied confusion, intentional obfuscation, conscious denial of responsibility, resentment of adults and withdrawal from serious commitment of any kind. Tune out, turn off. It's been going on for twenty years or more now. It affects all aspects of society, this confusion.
It's about first the meaning of words, then about identity of personhood. First the words are made to mean something other than what they really mean. That's the art of liberalism in politics. Then, the elements of personhood are manipulated. It's all about deception, and that leads to disintegration and destruction.
I cannot help but note that this kind of thing was first portrayed in the Hebrew scriptures. The art of deception was associated with an alien element, which, in disguise, distorted reality with words. "Ye shall not surely die," the serpent said, after God had said "Ye shall surely die." Well, you won't exactly die, said the serpent. Something else acutally happens. (You will become as God, a divine being.) Genesis 3:1-5. Instead, we rot in the earth.
The impetus of deception is a deep archetype. It is part of human consciousness, or so it seems. That's Carl Jung. According to Freud, we deceive even ourselves, on a regular basis. No one person is responsible for bringing about these conditions. We are mere participants in the stream of things. To stand against the current, and seek the truth, is often agonal, and self-sacrificial. But, according to the Hebrew idea, truth is what lasts. Truth is what endures. Truth won't fall over, ultimately. Suicidal as it may seem, a stand for the truth is the door to true happines, and perhaps everlasting life--so long as we're speaking romantically about the matter.
The adult society has simply not communicated to young people that truth is supremely valuable. Young people have too often seen their parents lie, defraud, manipulate, and betray. Our society is reaping what it has sown. Young people need an example of integrity, not "success." Young people need to know there is something more important than money, movies, cars, and "charity." Young people need to understand that dying for something doesn't create value, but rather one dies for what is valuable. Charity does not sanctify the giver, but truth establishes all things.
In the words of the prophet, "Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams." 2 Samuel 15:22.
Better to do what's right in the first place than to be sorry afterwords.
What wrong with claiming to be American Indian when you aren't? What's wrong with becoming a success, as an Indian, when you aren't? What's wrong with raising money for Indians, as an Indian, and presenting yourself as a role model for Indian youth, when you're not Indian? Anything?
Probably, most people don't care. Many non-Indians think that making an issue out of Rudy Youngblood's identity is neurotic, or certainly irrelevant. Lots of Indians today feel generous about the Indian identity. Particularly liberal Indians. How or why would anyone question, let alone criticize Rudy "Yo, blood!" for doing as he as done? What would be the motive? Why reprimand a young man who has found success, as an Indian, but who isn't Indian? Is being Indian all that important? American Negroes have succeeded in obtaining federal recognition as "Indians." They have a club in Connecticut called the "Mashantucket-Pequot" club. They also have the largest resort casino in the world. White men can earn over 100K a year as Indians. Ward Churchill did it, at the University of Colorado. Who cares whether a person is really Indian or not?

Ward Churchill, former professor (with no
Doctorate) at the University of Colorado, Boulder.
Indians. Most Indians, anyway. Indians who care about the future. Indians who care about providing for their own. Indians who care about honesty, integrity, and of course, blood. Indians who care about our ancestors.
There are many people in "multi-cultural" America who disdain race and ethnicity. In their socialist, Marxist antipathy toward human distinction, they use race as merely political agitation and for purposes of disrupting American values. That's called racism. That's the idea of pitting one race against another. The Communist goal is to overthrough the cultural white supremacy, and allow only a few elete whites to control the world. The current method for doing this is global racism. For example, the liberal Communists promote the idea that all ingidenous people of the Western Hemisphere are "American Indian." They are all one race. The National Museum of the American Indian, for instance, houses Pacific Islanders as "Indians." The Communist Sundance Institute of Robert Redford and George Soros recently has recognized Philippinos as "Native American," including the southeast Asian people in the "Native American Initiative" department. It's now the "Native American and Indigenous" program, and includes Pacific people. It's all just one big group of "brownies," like some global bowel movement. That's all that matters to liberal racists. Skins are all the same. Thus, the liberals encourage a most destructive form racism.
The fact that they want to include all non-white races as "indigenous," thus native of the Americas, allows them to identify all non-whites of the Western Hemisphere as American Indian. Why, if Columbus had run into Hawaiians first, he would have called them "Indios," right? So, what's the difference? All brownies are American Indian. That's the line we're being given, and the line some naive and liberal Indians are buying into.
But most American Indians disagree. We know our fathers fought and died, desperately, to preserve the indentity of our nations, our cultures, our religions, our languages, and our blood. They spilled their blood to preserve ours. That's why it matters. We know that those who despise their ancestors will disappear from the earth. We know, instinctively as well, that the Creator has ordained difference. (Genesis 11:7,8; Deuteronomy 32:7-9; Revelation 21:24.) The differences between men serve a deep purpose in the outworking of human events, and in the communication between heaven and earth. To toy with race, to try even to destroy it, is blasphemeous.
The obsession with racial integration and intermarriage may seem inevitable in today's world of presumption and carelessness; it may seem perfectly normal for anyone to profess to be anything; it may seem even right--a vote of confidence, to demonstrate, as Rudy does, that cultural differences are superficial, and changeable like a costume. It may appear to be a great thing, to transcend race and culture.
But the mystical power of being American Indian is based on blood.
As I said, it is blood-bought blood. I for one consider it precious. I for one will honor it, defend it, and protect it. That's all I'm doing. Rudy's confounded identity, though perhaps typical of many today, is not to be paraded as exemplary. That I will protest and deny. Regardless of the carelessness and profligacy of Indian men and women since the reservation days, our obligation to day is to do, not as they did, but as they should have done. They were depressed, forsaken, and hopeless, or so we are told by non-Indian sociologists. Well, I say it is time to revive hope, while there is any blood left.
If Rudy turns out to have Comancheblood, fine. He has a long, long way to convince anyone of that. In the mean time, the issue is this: if we let a non-Indian "indigenous" person pass as an Indian because he can dance and make a movie, then we have opened the door for every Mexican in the southwest to claim American Indian blood. They're already doing it. The Mexican "hobbyists" that show up at the Texas pow-wows always claim they are part Comanche or Apache. This is the pattern.
To love Indian culture, to participate in it, does not change your blood. To learn Indian ways, even the language, does not make one Indian. To appreciate Indians, to love Indian ways and customs, to participate in Indian dance and art, this is fine. It is the robbery of the Indian identity which is criminal. There are laws against non-Indian people trying to sell jewelry, art, and artifacts as authentic Indian craft. Some of these have even been applied to college names, logos, and mascots. I don't see that in the same light, but, I am citing this because Indian identity is indeed an issue.
Is Rudy then basically a 'mascot' of sorts?
BadEagle continues the effort to identity him and his background. This is not an issue about his personal life or character. (That is entirely different, and in fact may be a real issue itself.) This is about Indian identity. Can it be considered exemplary, to make a success as an Indian, when you're not Indian? Is this good for Indians? Rudy has friends, supporters, and defenders. The Comanche tribal leadership has spent money on promoting him. This was money that could have been spent on real Comanche youth, and some Comanche people resent Rudy for this, as well as the leadership.

Rudy "Yo, blood!" Real name unknown.
Finally, I can remember what happened at the University of Hartford when I was there in late '80's and early '90's. There were groups of Indonesian students. The male students let their hair grow very long. Why? They wanted to be identified with American Indians. They thought it would naturally bring them social significance and respect. They thought it would help them fit in the American society.
Maybe that's what Rudy's doing. Everything's a big mix anyway. What difference could it possibly make? He's dark, and as long as he disguises or hides in non-straight (kinky?) hair, he can pass for an Indian. If Indonesians can do it, if Hawaiians can do it, if American Negroes can do it, why can't Rudy Gonzales do it?
At this time, there is no evidence to create any other explanation.
In connection with the Rudy Youngblood 'mystery,' we must include now one of his publicists, Michelle R. Hall Shining Elk. Since she posted comments in the Bad Eagle Journal's Not yet, Rudy! entry, and posted private email between myself and her, I feel it is not improprietous to speak openly of her now. I had foregone any direct reference to her, out of professional respect, and would never reveal private email, at least not without her explicit permission. I trust this is therefore kosher now to pursue her role in the Rudy story.
"Michelle R. Hall" is the name she has used in the past, and even as late as November. Michelle R. Hall Shining Elk is what she is using now. I wondered whether "Shining Elk" was a new married name. She has not announced it publicly that I know of. I asked her directlyl if she were Indian. She did not respond. There is a photograph on Rudy's website that pictures Michelle R. (Hall) Shining Elk. In that same photograph is the famous Patrick Shining Elk, the Eastern Shoshoni actor. Obviously, it could be that there was a recent marriage. (She was Shining Elk's agent and may still be.) Since Michelle did not respond to my simple concerns about her own identity, however, it appears that the public is left to speculate, just as Michelle has left the public to speculate about Rudy Younblood.

Michelle, Patrick Shining Elk, Rudy, and Patrick Mirabal (Pueblo)
Michelle R. Hall, on her own website, MichelleShiningElk.com, says she is an enrolled member of the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Indian Reservation and belongs to the Lakes and Okanogan bands. I called the Colville office, and met with some confusion. I gave my name, and the purpose of my call--to confirm the enrollment of Michelle R. Hall. After a stalled moment, (during which I could hear a computer keyboard clicking), I was told there was no one by that name on the rolls. The phone cut off. I called again, a some 20 minutes later, talked to a Brenda, head of enrollment, only to be told that she could not reveal even a 'yes' or a 'no' answer, and that she needed the chairman's authorization. Like most tribal offices, no one is in, or no one is answering the phone. All answering machines. So that's where the confirmation of Michelle R. Hall stands, from the point of view of BadEagle.com in Oklahoma City. I will of course continue to persue this in a professional manner.
Michelle has severely reprimanded me, personally, for my pursuit of Rudy Youngblood's true identity. But she knew who I was before I ever contacted her. She is in the movie business, as an artist manager/publicity service. She knows Bird Runningwater, who works for the Sundance Institute, against which Institute I am seeking legal recourse, due to their abuse of the Indian name "Sundance" to promote anti-American ideology. That explains that, maybe.

Michelle R. Hall Shining Elk
This is all public information at this point. Michelle's idenity is not really in question, but rather her wisdom, or lack thereof, in the mechanics of publicity. If she is the professional it truly looks like she is, and if she is Indian, which she surely is, I cannot account for the incredibly crippled manner in which she has presented Rudy "Youngblood." She has tresspassed ever Indian custom, and every Indian value in the way she has identified Rudy. The facts are all against her. She may be dealing only with the information that Rudy has given her. Even so, she should have varified her information, instead of leaving it up to the public. She was not professional in the manner in which she presented Rudy. At this point, it is abundantly clear that Rudy is not Indian at all, just someone who has tried to hide his true identity beneath the grass dance.
Perhaps it never occurred to Michelle that Rudy was not Indian. Perhaps she was completely fooled. The thing to do is to come clean, quickly. The lie is over. Michelle's credibility as a manager, professionaly, and her respect as an Indian in the eyes of other Indians, is on the line here. She should immediately straighten this matter out, before her own career is aversely affected. "Law suit" is written all over this case. Identity theft. This is what Rudy has done, to every appearance. Michelle is complicit. Icon and Disney are as well. This is a very serious matter.
It is tragic that Indian identity would be treated in such a disrepectful, denigrating manner. It is complete carelessness, encouraged no doubt by the glitz, and the pressures of success. I say it's time to stop, take a deep breath, and tell the truth. The issue is not me or my motives, as Michelle wants to think. The issue is Indian identity. I personally am completely irrelevant. I'm pursuing this matter for the sake of the Tahchawwicka family, the Comanche Nation, and Indians in general. Indian identity has been attack from all directions recently. It's really all about money, or, "glitz," as I said. This is not a time to sell out to a casino, to a movie company, or to one's personal career. Just the truth. That's what's important.
Oh, and Rudy's "links" page is dominated with Mexican clothing stores. Nice touch. That's truly "giving it back," to the people who should have it.
[Happy Hanukkah! And Happy Sabbath! Read BadEagle.com's Hanukkah entry on the Jewish Forum]
Rudy Youngblood's "Hollywood" bio, which states that his father was the late Preston Tahchawwicka, may need to be changed again. Relations have told BadEagle that Preston had no children of his own. His children were adopted. There are two that are affirmed: Lance Tahchawwicka, and a girl (name not varified by Bad Eagle yet.) Preston's wife, still living, knows nothing of Rudy.

Rudy. Real name not known.
Rudy was first known to southern Oklahoma Comanches by his appearances at the Frederickberg pow-wow. Rudy showed up regularly with a Mexican "hobbyist" crowd, many of whom sing and dance as Indians. The Mexicans ususally say they are Apache or Comanche. Everyone regards them as simply Mexicans, who sing and dance the Indian way pretty well.
If Rudy was in fact adopted by Preston Tahchawwicka, would not immediate family members know about him? He has either to be adopted, or he is an illegitimate child, born out of wedlock. This is an assault on the good name of the Tahchawwicka family, for which cause they might have right to sue.
Lance Tahchawwicka is a member of the Bear Claw group, a Comanche drumming/singing group which was hosted by the late Preston Tahchawwicka. There was never any Rudy Youngblood listed that we know of.

A real Comanche fancy dancer. Looks like one
of the Ware brothers.
BadEagle has also been informed that "Gonzales," Rudy's legal name, is in fact an adopted name. It was his Mexican step father's name.
BadEagle has been informed that Rudy has fathered a child among the Choctaw people (personal and family names respectfully withheld). The "mother-in-law" of Rudy has stated that she know's nothing of Rudy's claim to be Comanche. "He always said Yaqui," she said.
BadEagle is concerned now for the Tahchawwicka family. There needs to be an establishment of the truth here. Rudy is claiming to be Comanche, and the tribal leaders have spent a lot of money on him, promoting him. He apparently is not Comanche at all. There is no legal adoption in to the Preston Tahchawwicka family, and certainly no blood line. This is therefore a more ominous situation than it was in the beginning. This calls for sincere counselling. Rudy's publicists should resign, and Rudy should hire someone who knows something about Indians! The current publicists are not only showing profound disregard and disrespect for Indians, but they are setting Rudy up for a catastrophe. This may turn out to be the biggest case of Indian identity theft since Ward Churchill.
BadEagle is seeking to contact Lance Tahchawwicka. It is possible, but not likely, that Rudy was 'adopted' in the Indian way, somehow. But, the information about him in this matter appears to be fabricated. That would then bring into question his claim to be 'adopted' by the Cree, as well.
We laud his talents, his intelligence, and his looks. However, he will 'hang' for his fraud, when it is found out. Instead of affirming his "Indianness," his success will forever divorce him from it. That is only just. Without denying his abilities, we will have to brand him as a very serious Indian fraud, who has wrecklessly used and abused the names of tribes and family names of tribal members. This is anathema. Hollywood has aggrandized what might have gone unnoticed altogether. Rudy has put himself in a bad way. I do not see a way out for him, yet. Coming clean will not erase what he has done already, but there is honor in confession--only when it is willing, and not forced. What happens from this point is forced, by way BadEagle, perhaps.
The good to come out of this? Don't mess with Indian identity. It is all we have. There are those of us who will fight for it, to the last drop of blood. Indians should never, ever condone the kind of disrepect Rudy has apparently shown. The Washington Redskins mascot is a high honor, compared to what Rudy has done.

From the earlier photos on Rudy's website, before
they were removed, for obvious reasons.
The plot thickens. The information on Rudy "Youngblood" in changing even as we write. The information on Wikipedia has been altered repeatedly now. Rudy's bio on his website is changing as well. It is a fascinating study in identity creation. BadEagle has questioned Rudy from the beginning. Our recent material seems to have stimulated some response on the part of his desperate publicists.
Very importantly, Rudy's bio now identifies him as the son of the late Comanche Preston Tahchawwickah. Now that's interesting. He never said this to anyone before--even when directly asked, to my knowledge anyway. A Comanche name sounds good now? Mystery over? Rudy's in?

Rudy...whatever his name is.
NOT. Preston Tahchawwickah is a name that appears on rootsweb.com, a geneaology source, and the pages pertaining to Indiahoma Cemetary, in Indiahoma, Oklahoma (Comanche County). (There is another Tahchawwickah in the Comanche/Kiowa/Apahce cemetary in Cache, Okalhoma.) But Preston Tahchawwickah is dead, as are the other four who are listed, obviously. They're on a cemetary list. In 2001, there was a freshman at Cameron University (Lawton, OK) by the name of Lanette A Tahchawwickah, from Cache. A sister? A cousin? Now, there is a Rev. Nick Tahchawwickah, pastor, West Cache Church of the Nazarene living today. We shall pursue this matter with rigor on the morrow. Preston Tahchawwickah was born in 1939, and died in 2005. Rudy hasn't given us his own age, but he must be in his early twenties. Preston would have had Rudy at the age of what, fifty-five? We don't know that any living Tahchawwickah's have vouched for Rudy, yet. Have they had only four months? Has no one been in touch with Rudy? Did they not know of him at all? Where were they when Rudy came here to Oklahoma for the pre-screenings of Apocalypto?
Rudy's 'black mother,' originally listed on Wikepedia, has now disappeared, preserved only in the "history" files of the "Rudy Youngblood" entry. (This was changed only today, in fact, December 14.) And Bad Eagle was just e-mailed, privately from a personal friend of Rudy's, who tells us that Rudy's mother is Mexican. (Her name is respectfully withheld, as is the name of the informant.) That would mean, of course, that any black blood would have come from his father. Rudy simply does not have straight hair. Either that, or he has made some strange point of not showing it. Some one in the family is tu-taivo, as the Comanche say. Black.
Of course, now the Wikipedia entry includes the name "Gonzales." As BadEagle pointed out before. Rudy (Gonzales) Youngblood. So then, where does "Youngblood" come from? Rudy claims is an adopted Cree Indian, in the SlimJohn family. (As far as BadEagle can determine, it is he who claims them, using the word "adopted." Not they him. When did this adoption take place? Was there a ceremony? Does Rudy mean something other than "legal" adoption? In this day of dysfuntional families, the world adoption means more than one thing. If it was a traditional Cree adoption, the Cree need to vouch for Rudy right away. Even then, our concern here is blood, particularly Comanche blood. (And not every Mexican is a Yaqui. That's a serious identity, too.)
There are obviously very serious identity problems going on here, and I'm afraid they're just beginning. Rudy was interviewed by the CampCrier, an independent, privately owned Comanche news site. One can watch this clip here, or here. Note that there is Comanche Nationa flag beside him, no doubt to make absolutely sure that there is absolutely no doubt in anyone's mind that Rudy is Comanche. Right?
There are a couple of moments in the interview when the trained ear can perceive a Mexican (Spanish) accent. This would indicate that he did come from a Mexican family, growing up around spoken Spanish. BadEagle was told that it was in Tucson, but this is not confirmed. What we're suggesting at any rate is that the Mexican element is dominant. Rudy loved American Indian culture, however, early on, and has been involved in it. This is not to be disputed. Nor are his intelligence, talent, and good looks.
All that is disputed is the unbelievably dubious manner in which Rudy has presented himself to the world. Of more concern is the ignorance and disrespect of his publicists (whom I can name, but will respectfully withhold at this time.) They have no concept of Indian ways, and apparently neither does Rudy. That he would be so careless about his presentation can only mean he was naive and inexperienced, which means that, in spite of his involvements in Indian dance and crafts, he simply doesn't know Indian ways. Either that, or he is guilty of incredible presumption and disrespect. Did it all happen to fast for him? Was he not prepared to tell the truth, no matter how complex it might be in his personal life? Did they push him into it?
In any case, you don't come in among Comanche people, call yourself Comanche, and not give your family name. To wait four months later, and then name a family? It doesn't work that way. I have been to several major Comanche meetings since the September screenings of Apocalypto, and never once have I heard the name Tahchawwickah mentioned at all, let alone as the family of Rudy Gonzales "Yo, Blood!" Surely, I would have heard something by now. The name "Rudy Youngblood" (an obviously fabricated 'sell' name for Hollywood) is in every ear. But not Tahchawwickah. That's a brand new one, just appearing on the internet as of today.
Rudy needs to give his age, explain why he is legally going by his mother's name, instead of his father's. If this is a re-entry into the Comanche community, is it a most hazardous one, fraught with deception, confusion, and unnecessary duplicity, private and professional. One simply cannot enter the "movie star" world and expect that to cover for all ills. Indeed, it only magnifies them. Rudy's obvious talents and assets are very strong. There is no reason to hide the Mexican identity, or the black, really. The crime is in making Indian identity appear like a grass dance costume, like something you claim of your own volition. The danger is in communicating such a message, that Indian identity is nothing, up for grabs, something everyone can have, just by wanting it.
These are serious facts and allegations. Rudy has brought this on himself, and his ignorant Hollywood associates have accentuated it. It is a time for education of all parties concerned. BadEagle will make certain this transpires. It is not a good thing to roll over truth like it doesn't matter, like success is more important. Nothing is more important than the truth. Nothing. Ever.
The Democrat senator from Illinois, Mr. Barak Hussein Obama faces some interesting identity challenges. As Bad Eagle continues to examine the power of linguistics, the usurpation of words, and American political process and American society in general, Mr. Obama provides an opportunity to look at words and names even more closely.
Mr. Obama has been billed as an "African-American," but some commentators have noticed that this isn't exactly true, because Mr. Obama is half white. I say this is still missing the deeper point: Mr. Obama's father is Kenyan, that is African. From Africa. Even Sam Francis (VDARE.com) failed to make this point in his astute assessment of Mr. Obama. African-American, as used in this country, means American Negro--descendent of slave. This is a special heritage, not one that can be or should be manipulated. Mr. Obama is not "African-American" at all, in the American sense of the world. (And, after all, we are in America, lest we forget.)
On the other hand, Mr. Obama accentuates the fact that the name "African-American" for the American Negro is really a misnomer. American Negroes, for a number of generations now, are from America, not from Africa at all. They have no connect but for their genes. Most American Negroes know little or nothing about Africa, and couldn't care less, usually. (Some, like Keith Richberg, actually despise Africa.) "African-American" depicts no connection with Africa, but for historic origins of the race. American Negroes have outgrown all meaningful linguistic, religious, or cultural associations with anything nominally African. Their behavioral characteristics, though maintaining some possible similarities, have come to be understood as "American" Negroe, not African.
So, Mr. Obama is technically truly African-American, but in a sense of the word entirely foreign to way the American Negro uses the word.
Interestingly, Mr. Obama's when he was only two. He was born in Hawaii, to the Kenyan father, and a white woman from Wichita, Kansas. His mother then married an Indonesian businessman. (What kind of white woman was this? A missionary? Her parents lived in Hawaii also. After his childhood in Jakarta, attending a Muslim school, then a Catholic school, Barak returned to Hawaii to live with his white grandparents.)
Mr. Obama is truly a multicultural person, for whatever that is worth. Could be worth a lot to Democrats in future elections. Mr. Obama seems to represent everything but America. That's meaningful to Democrats who want to erase any vestige of original American cultural values. All in the name of world peace, and globalism, of course.
Well, there are different theories as to why, since Oprah's introduction of him, Mr. Obama is being made such a media idol. Never mind the true black American achievers, like Condoleeza Rice. The Democrats and the liberal press need a mix man. They need his blackness, whatever kind they need to make of it; they need his multiculturalism; they need his smooth tongue, and gentle manners. He's not a pervert, like Clinton. Barak is a lovable man. Democrats should be proud of him. He doesn't have the crooked baggage that most of them have.
But, he's up against Hillary? That's curious. As ably pointed out in David Horowtiz and Richard Poe's The Shadow Party (2006), Hillary is a George Soros gal, all the way, from way back. Soros is behind her 100%. The question is, will Soros decide to support Obama? What will he make of Barak Obama? That is the real question. A vice-presidential candidate?
In the mean time, Obama essentially represents merely another obfuscation of American culture and ethnicity. He is basically a foreigner. I should say, there is something in him fundamentally foreign. That's precisely what the Democrats like about him, whether they admit it or not. He graduated from high school in Hawaii, but, anyone who has been to Hawaii knows what an international place it is. It doesn't represent traditional American culture at all. It serves as a little globalist model for American politicians. It's always been on the fringe.

Barak Hussein Obama, celebrated in Kenya, Africa NYT, AP
This is a typical situation, really. Obama may be a good man. He may be able to do "good" for the country. (Not likely, as a flaming liberal, however. Good manners doesn't mean good policy.) But, how will he affect the ethnicity issue? I predict he will not get the black vote at all. (He's more well recieved in Kenya!) He isn't black, not in the American sense. A lot of American blacks, the conservatives and even the liberals, are averse to "Africans." They resent all the American money sent to Africa, when there are needs right here among American blacks. They don't like Africans coming to America and benefiting from the "sweat" off their American black backs. This is a very real situation. I know from personal experience.
It's the goodness of the man, versus the uncertainty of his idenity and its cultural effects. The potential, either way, could be significant. Is it a good thing to despise ethnicity, to obscure it, to bury in it the mix? Are all ethnicities destined to be obliterated by intermarriage and multiculturalism? Is this the Obama Effect, in the end? Honoring confusion? Does this some how create the illusion of abstraction and superior view? Does the mix result in a superior entity? Is that the message inevitably sent?
We do well to consider these matters, late in the day as it is.
Is it a good thing, to pretend to be American Indian, and do good things for Indians thereby? Is it a good thing for Indian leaders to honor as Indian someone who will not or cannot show any evidence of American Indian blood? Is it a good example for Indian youth, to see their tribes indulge in the glitz, the glamour, and the money, while ignoring the truth? Have Indians become that weak? Do we sell out our identity to the first brown skin movie star? Do we now honor Mexicans and Negroes as Indians, as long as they learn to grass dance? Is that all it takes now? Do we despise our own blood?
There are horrific and agonizing questions to ask, but Indians are being forced to ask them now. First it was the casinos that compromised, yea obliterated, Indian identity in Connecticut and California. American Negroes have achieved federal tribal status as American Indians. Well, American Indians weren't consulted in those matters. And most people don't ever see those Negro "Indians." But now a black-hispanic movie star, Rudy Youngblood, has thrown himself into the ring, and, because of his role in Apocalypto, his connections with Mel Gibson and the Hollywood scene, some Oklahoma Indian leaders are willing to honor him as an Indian. This is a tragic day in Indian country, seems to me.
Rudy Gonzales, or "Yo, Blood," is of course very good looking, very talented, and very resourceful. He's just not Indian. At least, I have not been able to demonstrate it, and I have tried very hard. I have communicated a couple of his handlers, and they cannot provide the most basic information about him.
Who is his father? Who is his mother? What are their names? What is the Indian family name into which he was born? In what tribe is he enrolled? Does he have a CIB card? His publicists are aware of these issues now. Rudy had them all believing him implicitly in the beginning. What did they know? They knew nothing of Indian people. Rudy was brown-skinned, had pictures of his grass dance regalia, told them he was Indian, and they believed him. They had no basis for not believeing, no knowledge of the situtation, no knowledge of Indians. They just wanted to make a movie. Mel Gibson was taken in on the line.
Well, does it matter? Is it important? Rudy is being paraded as a fine example for Indian youth. Rudy is actually helping raise money for Indian people. But it this right? Is this really a good thing, in the end? There is wonderfully good feeling among lots of Indian people toward Rudy. Leaders are happy to use him to raise money for Indian people. As I said, leaders are accepting him and honoring him. They are anxious not only to encourage their Indian youth, but to also to come into greater financial advantages--for Indian people, of course.
I'm sorry, but I have to doubt this. I have to protest. Rudy obviously didn't know enough about Indians to pull this act off. He didn't know the very basic issues of Indian identity. He had no association, apparently. No one told him, it seems.
The truth is coming out, however. Now the question is going to be this: do we sell Indian identity for a little glitz? Is it that cheap now? We were always taken in by trinkets. It is an Indian tradition. Maybe that's what this is all about.
But, there are a number of Indian actors out in Hollywood and elsewhere. Rudy has robbed them of an opportunity, just like Ward Churchill robbed Indian professors of a job. Can this be acceptable? Can this be tolerated, unmentioned, and unrebuked?
I have decided to post on the matter. I first posted in September of this year. I let it slide after that. I've made some commentary on the forums of BadEagle.com, but I haven't really gone a campaign. Now, I think it is necessary. It would be a great thing, if Rudy were really Indian. I'd like to be proven wrong. I would love to be proven wrong. I invite anyone and everyone to prove me wrong. Especially Rudy. Why won't Rudy name the Indian family he was born into? Why won't he name his parents? You can't carry on in Indian country, pretending to be Indian, without this basic information. Those who won't or can't provide will finally have to face the truth.
This matter should have been taken care of a long time ago. I was going to pursue it, but I backed off. I should have nipped it in the bud. Now Rudy has made it big, and he's only going to get bigger. But, until he comes clean, I for one will protest, and protest even the good he has done among Indian people. I don't think it is really good, in the long run. It can't be. Making mockery of Indian identity cannot be a good thing. Despising the blood, to make it mean nothing, to make the word "Indian" mean nothing, can't be a good thing. Not at any price.
To sell out our identity for money is truly sad. Indians now fulfill the words of William "Tecumseh" Sherman: "they have all to be killed, or be maintained as a species of paupers." (Letter, Sept. 28, 1868). Yeah. Just throw some money our way, and, behold, you're an Indian! We'll give you everything. You can even have our identity. Just give us a little glitz, a little glimmer of fame and fortune. That will "maintain" us. Raise some money for our clinics. We'll make you chief.
There was a day when Indians would rather die than lose their Indian identity. Now we're giving it way.
Jessica Simpson has recently spoken of her dream to work with Dolly Parton. The 26-year-old performer has an ambition to hook up with an all-time great, (Dolly), who is now in her sixties. It is an interesting moment. What exactly does it mean? A new song? A new album? A movie? What sort of association?

Jessica Simpson
First of all, Dolly Parton is an authentic "country" star, beginning as a singer, then some kind of actress. In his simple, early biography of Dolly, Otis James said, "Traditionally, not just anyone could be recognized as a country singer." He says that singing country song, playing on country instruments, and even recording in Nashville wasn't the ticket. "The first qualification was: you had to be country. That is, you had to establish your credibility by having come from a country background, having paid your dues to the soil, poverty, and the South." Otis James, Dolly Parton: A peronsl portrait (QuickFox, 1978), p.13.

Dolly Parton
An interesting testimony. It is a professional creed Mr. Otis quotes. However, New York and the "fast food" music industry, specifically the recording industry, has long since obliterated much of what was truly country. Artificial country, manufactured country, "fake" country has very much taken over. The word, like so many other words in our modern society, has been usurped. Its meaning has been made to morph. (Ironically, Dolly herself had much to do with it, by creating a fusion of country and rock.)
Which brings in Jessica Simpson. Jessica is from Dallas, Texas, says her biography, but has never been associated with anything other than pop rock. There are no roots deeper than that in her or her career, certainly not poverty, out-houses, or hard times. That she should contemplate associating with roots of any kind is interesting. Someone, perhaps her or her handlers, is looking down the road a piece here. What shall we make of Jessica, in the end? As she moves on in age, she can't take the teenie boppers along with her. No singer can. She has to identify with something more established. Dolly Parton is a good choice, indeed.
However, we must reconsider the identity of "country." Seems to me that it is something worth preserving. I don't see Jessica contributing to this cause, actually.
She has recently been involved in a revival of the late '70's TV show, "Dukes of Hazzard," which sported a kind of non-descript, generic "country" setting, with names like "Daisy Dukes"--clearly taken from Al Capp's original newspaper cartoon series, "Li'l Abner." That was Tenessee Appalachian "country," and all about poverty. "Daisy Mae," the lead female character in the cartoons, was the model Catherin Bach, and now Jessica Simpson, was based on. But the Dukes of Hazzard appears to be more in an Arkansas setting. And Jessica's version of Daisy Dukes, in a recent DVD, however, leaves much authenticity to be desired. The creators need to reconsider the elements of the old Andy Griffith show in "Maybarry," North Carolina.

Jessica "Daisie Dukes" Simpson.
Is a fake accent something to
be concerned about?
Worse, in a recent TV ad for beer, Jessica cops the most fake "country" accent ever evoloved in modern imitations. It's exaggerated beyond even a resemblance of the real thing. Way too obvious.
Otis is right. You can't just be country if you're not. You can't fake it. Associating with Dolly Parton isn't going to make Jessica a country girl, either.
Actually, these procedings are part of a larger picture, in which Jessica Simpson and the like are trying to re-fill the roles of women stars in early periods of modern American history. WWII pin-up girls is another venue Jessica and the modern 20-something girls are trying to fill. It is as if they have no identity of their own. It's used up. The vice and varieties of the pop scene are clearly exhausted, and the industry is turning to history, albeit modern, to find new roles for the young female forms. They have to be dressed as something. They have to be wrapped, however scantily, in something that carries a little significance. They're getting desperate, it looks like to me. They're out of ideas.
Dolly's not going to help much. Jessica's not country. She is a product of the modern recording industry, with no roots, no historical identity, and no cultural direction. She may seek it now, and perhaps she will find it, eventually. One thing we know, it won't be country.
Personally, I think she should try Western. There is a thing called "Country-Western." If the Cowboy world isn't so marketable, and she decides to create a "country" image, then Jessica will no doubt have resigned to professional pressures and simply become a professional fake. So, let's face it: a woman's figure can't validate much beyond itself. That's enough for most people, men in particular. However, it can't make a girl into something that she's not.
Derrick Shareef, American Negro turned "black Muslim" seven years ago, just used the word "nigger" in reference to American Negroes. In a sworn FBI affidavit submitted by Special Agent Jared Ruddy on the case against Shareef, the Muslim convert used the word "nigger" many times. (Hat tip to The Smoking Gun. Shareef is the man who was about to blow up Rockford, Illinois Christmas shoppers with hand grenades. (He was in custody yesterday, December 9.) The mainstream media of course would never 'fess up to the fact that Shareef was black, and that he strongly uses the word "nigger." From the affidavit:
"them niggers do weak as hell."
"you clock the first three niggers at the door"
"niggers don't care what happens to the Umma"
"stabbin' some Jews"
"stabbin them niggers with a steak knife"
"niggers trying to run in the building"
"niggers gonna be gloomy as hell out there"
The most up to date account of the whole story is Scott Richart's article, "Jihad in Rockford", on VDARE.com. Richart has been following the story from the moment it started.
Derrick "Shareef." From the Chicago Sun Times. Media won't say it in words, but
sometimes slips the truth in via visual illustration. Now, let's see, can Gloria sue
them for racial profiling in imaging? Why, Derrick looks just like a black man.
So, apparently the glorious Qur'an does not inhibit racist terminology. Apparently, in the Nation of Islam, there is no injunction against the most horrid racial "slurs," as the liberals love to call such words. Nope. No problem with racism in Islam, no matter who converts to it. Doesn't seem to have any affect at all, in fact. Not on racism. Indeed, it would seem to enhance it, aggrandize it, and encourage it to the point of mass murder.
So, whatever Michael Richards is guilty of, whatever Damon Williams or Dave Chappell are up to, Islam would apparently receive them with open arms. Here, in the case of Derrick "Shareef," an mad American Negro turned Muslim, in the Nation of Islam (the American Negro national Muslim organization), has repeated used the word "nigger" in expressed hatred, and not a peep out of Gloria Allred, not a word out of the media--except for Michelle Malkin.
Malkin, by the way, also exposed dear Rosie O'Donnell's most horrible, despicable (I'm exaggerating) racist, scurrilous slurs against the Chinese:
O'Donnell: The fact is that it's news all over the world. You can imagine in China, it's like, "Ching chong ching ching ching chong Danny DeVito ching ching chong drunk The View ching chong."
Ah, well, give poor Rosie a break. She's just human, like the rest of us, right? Isn't that the homosexual line?
Back to black Muslim murderers, remember Nuradin Abdi, the Somali Muslim, al-Qaeda murderer plotter of Ohio? It was in 2004. He was plotting to blow up a mall in Columbus. He was apprehended based on his travel fraud. In stead of going to Mecca to visit relatives, he was going to Ogaden, Ethiopia, to get special al-Qaeda training.
"Nigger" or no, it is time to ban Islam from the free world. Whether "good" Muslims or "bad," the bad obviously use the good as camouflage. Therefore, the simplest solution is that Islam should be banned, completely. Yes, it is a tragic thought, but, the Muslim murderers have demanded it. It is truly their fault. They have made their religion to stink in the world. It has become the "I" word. The most dreaded, most despised, most unwanted word in the world. Islam--the "I" word.
Victims of Islamic terrorists should all hire Gloria Allred to sue whomever uses the dreaded "I" word. Think of the pain this word inflicts on the victims, Gloria. Think of the hurt. Jessie Jackson should demand a constitutional amendment to ban the "I" word from the language. And the "M" word whild we're at it. Muslim, the "M" word. Oh, the denigration, the humiliation, the terrible hurt these words cause.
Gottcha!
"Nigger" is back. Thanks to Damon Wayan, you can say nigger again, but it will cost you $20 a pop. Yep, the LA late night comedy club, Laught Factory, just put a price on it. They fined Damon Wayan $320. for using it 16 times in his recent act "Chocolate Sundaes." Damon said the audience was to be congratulated for coming out to support "nigger night." Way to go, Damon!

Actor Damon Wayan, man of the hour.
Laugh Factory, of course, was exactly the same club where Michael Richards shouted "nigger" at the top of his lungs, for which 'barbarism' he is seeing a psychiatrist and being harrassed by the vainglorious Gloria Allred. One of the irreparably offended young black men, Kyle Doss, could never put a price on the word, even though Sean Hannity repeatedly asked him to. Allred demanded that Richards are her poor black boys go before a judge, and let the judge decide the price.
Looks like Damon and Laugh Factory have already done that now. Damon put the word right were it belongs, as a basically nothing word. (In fact, he should be awarded, rather than fined.) It's just a word, and like any other word, has a place, a time, and a spirit. Damon was a man about it, and a good man, at that. Perhaps even more than Jessie Peterson, who, when Hannity asked him if the word created terrible feelings, said "No. Nah." Demon went out and demonstrated that truth. Kudos, Mr. Damon Wayan.
Dave Chappell has been sporting the word for some time. In a hilarious comedy skit, he played a blind black man, Clayton Bigsby, who didn't know he was black, and became a famous white supremacist!

Dave Chappell, linguistic sportsman.
Liberals, like professional protester Jessie Jackson, and word-mongers like Gloria Allred, are all about control. They want to control the very words in your mouth. They breed censorship and intolerance, while all the time professing tolerance and freedom. They want to be Big Brother, and to wash everyone's mouth out with soap. They want everyone to be good children. They key word there is "children." The same people who want to remove the word "nigger" want to remove "Christmas," and "God." It's a PC game of "n" words, "C" words, and they continually try to add to their arsenal of power words. The fact is, they are the ones who empowered the word "nigger" to begin with. Their neurotic focus destorted it beyond rationality. Comedians like Wayman and Chappell, and yes, even poor ol' Michael Richards, put the word where it belongs. It's just a word, with little significance, really. It's what you make of it. The right time, the right place, in the right spirit, and it's just a word.
But now, back to 'media reality.' Let's see, does Damon have to see a psychiatrist now, like Richards? Is he going to be called before a "white" judge to apologize? How many people did he inflict irreparable pain upon? How many were in the audience? How many clients can Gloria Allred's office handle? A group agony. A communal crisis. A cluster catastrophy. Is it going to be $20 buck for each person who was offended, for each time Damon used the word? Hmmm. For a crowd of say, one hundred people, why that's $32,000 dollars! That's $1,500 per hurt person. It's a case of multiple "nigger."
Well, black people could certainly use some intelligent leaders. I don't know that comedians or even preachers are the best bet, but, white women 'saviors' like Gloria Allred certainly lead in the wrong direction. We can forget them. They'll keep black people in diapers. Conservative black commentators just don't have had much effect. This is really a tough call. For now, it looks like comedians are taking the lead.
Today is Pearl Harbor Day, December 7. We commemorate, not the attack on Pearl Harbor, but the victory of America over its enemies. Forget the lamentations. Remember the victory. Lamentation is a Leftist specialty. All are victims, in their mind. That's how that try to manipulate moral superiority. They want to "help" victims.

Forget victims! Remember the conquerors! Honor the conquerors! There is no honor in victimhood.
The brave and courageous Japanese attacked us. We smashed them like no people had ever been smashed in the history of the world. It was annihilation--with mercy, because we only bombed two cities, not all their cities. But our response was so deadly, the world hasn't had a problem with Japan ever since.
But, those were the days when there was a thing called war. That was when the enemy had honor and pride.
Today, there is no war. Muslims have no honor. Mass murderers disguise themselves as charitable human beings, with rights, no less! Every element of human trust and human relations they have desecrated. Professional liars and deluded deceivers like Jeff Sidiqqi (Pakistan-born "American" Muslim--I hate to associate the two words, for there is no association) epitomize the perfidy and odious character of the enemy. An enemy without honor is less than a dog. An animal has more pride than they.
Yes, remember World War II. That was the last war in which the enemy had honor. That's right. The Nazis did not hide who they were. They were promoting who they were. Yes, they had spies, but those were special agents. Today, all Muslims are essentially spies. They are used as spies. They are the cover that the mass murderers use. The so-called "good" Muslims have made no effort to alter these circumstances. They are in the west to make Muslims out the western world. This is plain and simple at this point. The only difference is they leave the dirty work, the murder, to the so called "bad" Muslims.
It is a wistful thing, to remember Pearl Harbor, to remember a real war. We haven't declared one since then. We haven't been allowed to. Liberals control our government, our courts, and our media. War is "out." Lamentation over past "victims" is in, but it doesn't count for honor. You don't honor a victim, you honor a victor.
Yes, Americans won. Americans were the victors. Let's honor them, and honor what they fought for.
This is hard to do, when the law is against it, when our own government won't allow honor, when our retired, tired-out Washington talkers want now to negotiate with murderers, and allow murderers a seat at the table to talk about peace. Hard to do, when old white men not only honor liars and murderers, but ignore Israel to boot! Hard to do, when they want to talk peace with Syria and Iran--who are the funders of mass murder, with Saudi, the mother of all Muslim denigration. Hard to honor the honorable, when revered old white men are dishonoring the honorable, and obfuscating the whole idea of integrity and honor.

Old white men, who have forgotten
the meaning of war and honor.
Yes, let's remember Pearl Harbor. Let's remember the dignity of war, the purpose of victory, and the value of the spoils.
"Gay" does not mean homosexual. "Gay" means happy, cheerful, gleeful, or joyful. The word has nothing to do with homosexuals. Homosexuals are not particularly happy, certainly not more than anyone else, and probably less. Shall we stand by and watch our words usurped of their meaning? Shall we have the words of our mouths altered as we speak?
"Lesbian" does not mean homosexual. A Lesbian originally mean a person from the Greek island of Lesbos, in the eastern Agaean Sea (off the shores of modern Turkey). Female homosexuals are most generally not from the island of Lesbos.
"Queer" means odd, unusual, or peculiar, not homosexual. "Dike" means a dam, an artifical blockage of a water course, a bank, or a levee. "Fagot" refers to a bundle of sticks, often used to burn--especially when burning a person at the stake. Queer, dike, and fagot have nothing to do with homosexuality. "Butch" is short for butcher, or chopper--the one who slaughters meat, preparing it for market. Butcher can also refer to a 'chop job,' meaning a savage, brutal, hacking, as opposed to a clean, even cut. It doesnt mean homosexual
Homosexuals seem to usurped (or adopted) a number a words in the language that describe some aspect of the human personality other than the homosexual act. Why? Is the word "homosexual" unattractive or repulsive in some way? Is it degrading or denigrating? It's five syllables long. Perhaps that is a bit much. So, "homo" is also unacceptable?

Karl Marx (1818-1883) didn't say much about homosexuality, but he was a great
usurper of words. In fact, there are homosexuals that see their "cause" as an
opportunity to employ Marxist social theory.
I say it's time to stop letting people destroy our language. It's time to end this absurd usurpation of words. Word control, legal suits over certain empowered words, is a scandal in itself. That such nonsense should run rampant in our society is laughable.
"Homosexual" is the medical or scientific term for the condition in which a person indulges his sexual energy for a member of his same sex. It obviously confounds the purposes of nature, that is, reproduction. It can never be considered "natural." But, without making any traditional moral judgment, what is the negative connotation of the word "homosexual" that makes homosexuals unhappy with the term? Why would they rather be called by some slang term, some nick-name, or some other word than "homosexual?"
Are they seeking social acceptance? Are they trying to hide what they are? Surely not. A homosexual is a homosexual. Calling him "gay" doesn't change homosexuality. All that does is rob everyone else of the word "gay." You can't say you feel gay this evening, for that will immediately be understood to mean that you are feeling homosexual impulses. For this distortion and aberration of a simple word in our English language, we have homosexuals to blame.
The usurpation of words lies at the base of every revolution. Power words are the target of the revolters. They seize upon words. In this historical, social context, it is quite clear that attorneys consider themselves social architects, and they are part of a mostly non-violent revolution. They will sue over words.
It's not only changing the meaning of words, but it's also about eliminating words. This is most curious. Let's consider some corollaries. In Jewish tradition, the name of God is usually, in English, written "G-d." This reflects on the sacredness of the name, and expresses respect for it. There is a tradition in fact that discourages even the oral prounciation of the name. One says Hashem ("the Name"), rather than "God."
Now, some media people have been writing "n-gg-r" instead of "nigger," as if leaving out the vowels some how ameliorates the guilt of using the word, or entirely releases them from using the horrid word. This is a curious thing. We must realize, again, "nigger" is not holy. That media writers would handle the word in a way similar to the way a holy word, the name of God, is handled in Jewish tradition, is a remarkable thing.
"Nigger" is not the opposite of God. "Nigger" does not mean Satan, either. Why is "nigger" being given such incredible consideration? What kind of neurosis is evident in this utterly artifical empowerment of the word "nigger?" What distortion of consciousness is apparent in the fabricated significance of the word?
These are the lessons inherent in the issue. Now, Michael Richards has been seeing a psychiatrist for having publically used the word. He has agreed to go before a judge and publically apologize to the "victims" who claim to have been "hurt" by his use of the word. But, so far, the media has given no evidence that the true issues in this matter are come to light whatsoever. This media case is about emasculating young black men, and glorifying the vainiglorious Gloria Allred, the white woman savior-attorney. The matter of language, words, meaning, and power, are not being addressed directly.
"Nigger" is not a newly invented slang to try and mollify or detract from something else. "Nigger" is a historical term, which never meant anything other than what it means to day, in fact, it meant much less, if anything. It was a lazy way of saying Negro. That's all. But "gay" is a cover-up. "Lesbian" is a sham. Homosexual is what we're talking about in these cases. Is the word "homosexual" slated for elimination? Will there be a constitutional amendment over that word? Will we start having to write "h-m-s-x--l"?

Gloria Allred, defender of the weak, and those in pain--as long
as they stay weak and in pain
Will it inflict indescribable "pain" on homosexuals when the word is used, like Gloria Allred claims "nigger" causes Negroes?
It seems the underlying issue then is indescribable pain. We all have points of indescribable pain, and these must be protected by law. Is that it? Gee, what is your indescribable pain? Who inflicts it on you? What is the word that inflicts this indescribable pain on you? Surely there is such a word. Surely you have suffered the pain. Let's have a good group share. Share you pain! Share the words that hurt! Let's list them all!
Let's ban these words from human language. Let's remove the pain of words.
And let's be sure to leave the door open for maniacal, murderous Muslims to denounce America, Christianity, and the West. They have been so hurt, such pain has been inflicted upon them, they must be given the right to express their pain. They need to express it in our nation's capital, our government offices, in our newspapers, and in our churches!
I think that's how this is going to work.
Final thoughts on the word "nigger" center on the issue of words themselves.
The word "nigger" is not holy. It is not sacred. The power currently being associated with it borders idolatry. The more Jessie Jackson and Gloria Allred scream "Don't say it!" the more people think it, and likely feel it. These kind of "leaders" like to treat people like children, but they obviously don't know the first thing about child pscyhology.
But let's talk about law. This is about law, about words commanded, words proscribed, words that people use. This is about control over what people say, think, and feel.

Michelangelo's "Moses." (1515, San Pietro di Vincola)
That the law should include words as cirucumscribable, proscriptable behavior is an ancient notion. Ancient Hebrew law prescribed the nature of certain words, as in "thou shalt not bear false witness against they neighbor" (Exodus 20:16), but also went further to even proscribe the feelings of the heart, as in "thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart" (Leviticus 19:17). Not only certain kinds of words were prohibited, but the very feelings that gave rise to those words were forbidden. As Jesus said, "out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh," and "those thing which proceed out of the mouth come froth from the heart" (Matthew 12:34; 15:18,19).
This is the principle of the matter. It is very hard not to say what one feels. It is not likely that a man will refrain from saying what's on his mind. To 'get along' in the world, we generally put a curb on our words, but, to someone, in some circumstance, somewhere, we will say what we feel. We have to, in order to live with ourselves.
But, what about the law? What about the business, yes, the merchandizing of law? What about the idea of making a living off catching people in their words? What kind of strange social misanthropy is this? We call such practioners "attorneys." Frankly asking, is Gloria Allred justified in what she is doing with respect to the young black men whom she professes to be concerned about? Thye were publically called niggers. The question isn't whether they have been wronged, but whether Allred is appropriately practicing law. Perhaps she is. If she is, then one has to reconsider the law.
There was a time in ancient Israel (Judah) when Allred's kind of lawyering was rampant, a time when the word watchers enriched themselves by targeting individuals and their words. It was a time of terrible oppression. In a prophecy about the end of that oppression, the end of abuse, the prophet wrote (Isaiah 29:20,21):
For the terrible one is brought to nought,
and the scorner is consumed,
and all that watch for iniquity are cut off;
that make a man an offender for a word,
that lay a snare for him that reproveth in the gate,
and turn aside the just for a thing of nought.
This appears to be about perfectionism--the perfection of control over others, the perfection of tyranny, and mean spirited human relations. But, in the abstract, the Jewish tradition of perfection, of exacting perfection, is a religious tradition. It is ancient, with awesome refinement. In fact, the Jews really have no competition in this kind of thing. Only "iron sharpeneth iron." (Proverbs 27:17) The history of Jewish education and academics is without parallel. Consider the first century schools of Hillel and Shammai. Talmudic scholar Rabbi Aiden Steinsaltz, speaking at Yale in 1979, said that the Jewish literature of argumentation is actually the foundation of the modern scientific method. Examining a phenomenon, an event, an object, yea--a word, from all possible angles, with careful balance, is indeed the best the human mind of itself can do. And the Jews have been doing it, in an on-going in-house dialogue, for thousands of years, in fact. The world must stand speechless, for the fact is incomparable.
But, as a business? As a way to make money? This is what it's come to in the West. Shakespeare noted it in 1594, in the Second Part of King Henry the Sixth. "Kill all the lawyers," said Butcher to Cade, as they contemplated their revolt against oppression. (Act IV Scene ii.) Attorneys even then had evolved into a stifling, tyrannical force in society. In modern America, where law is practice as free enterprise, as a competitive business, it is nearly impossible to grasp the nobler intent of the law. Attorneys have degraded all. Attorneys suffocate the free spirit of man. They do not protect, they oppress. It is apparently their business. It is law-as-capitalism.
We offend in a word, like "nigger." Indeed, as the apostle James notes, "If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man." (James 3:2). Would that such were always the case. But, with the practice of law being what it is in America today, indeed in the western world, there can never be a perfect man. Not likely. Attorneys have become like a swarm of Africanized bees, or a plague of viral infections, a horde of invading gloomists. They are like Muslims, in fact. They aren't protecting the law, they are morphing it. They are making it into something it was never meant to be. They make it a power game--power over you. That's what it's about.
Maybe the word "nigger" should stay.
