Obama’s Totalitarianism And The Last Days of Indian Sovereignty
By David Yeagley
Created 10/02/11

[Recently by David Yeagley: An Indian Patriot Sues The People Who Shut Down American Renaissance’s 2010 Conference [1]]

American Indian sovereignty is over—at least for the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma. On September 21, 2011 [2], the U.S. federal government told the Cherokee Nation who was Indian and who was not. District of Columbia District Judge Henry H. Kennedy, Jr. ordered [3] the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma to include Negroes as citizens [4].[Court order PDF [3]]

Wouldn’t you know it? The Obama Administration puts the Negro at the center of all racial issues. The white Oedipal liberals [5] have been happy to dilute, displace, and otherwise denigrate their own race, and they’re not about to let Indians be Indians—in peace, anyway. No, the Negro must be included in the Indian Nations, too. [6]

Actually, the federal government has been declaring Negroes as Indians since the 1980s, when Negroes claiming to be Indians [7] appealed to Washington for recognition so they could obtain a tax-free casino on “Indian” land.

But Judge Kennedy’s decision to declare Negroes citizens of an Indian nation represents the first act of the U.S. government that directly abrogates Indian sovereignty.

The casino bit, which involved the collusion of local and national politicians and other dubious characters, had really very little to do with real Indians. The casino “pop-up” tribes simply declared [8]Negroes Indians.

But the Kennedy decision says real Indians can’t say who’s Indian anymore. Indian Nationhood is degraded to the level of a social club [9]—which must include Negroes.

Back in March, 2007 [10], the Cherokee Nation amended its constitution, declaring that the Negroes among them were no longer considered Cherokee Nation citizens [11]. It is precisely that amendment that was disputed by some 2,800 Negroes [12] who, historically, had been considered citizens. They had been slaves of wealthier Cherokee before the government’s coerced relocation of the Cherokee from the southeastern woodlands to Indian Territory [13]—a.k.a. Oklahoma—in the 1830s. This was President Andrew Jackson’s Indian Removal Act [14], resulting in the infamous “Trail of Tears [15]” for the Cherokee and several other southeastern woodland tribes.

During the War of Northern Aggression, the Cherokee Nation in Oklahoma was itself was divided. Those in the Tahlequah area sided with the North; those in the Webber Falls area fought with the South. General Stand Watie [16] was the most famous of those Confederate Cherokee.

Ironically, it is the northern group which is now facing Negro aggression. The southern Cherokee, like many other Cherokee factions, never went through the federal recognition process, and thus remain more racially pure.

Interestingly, at this writing, the very latest news (September 26 [17]) is that the Tahlequah group, the official Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma, did not get ballots to 1,200 registered Negro voters for the upcoming (October 8) final Cherokee election. It was “a mechanical problem during printing” said the Election Commission chair.

Judge Kennedy has now held the Cherokee Nation in contempt of court. The judge is determined that the Negroes vote in the Cherokee election.

The Negroes’ attorneys based their claim to Cherokee citizenship on an 1866 treaty which granted citizenship rights to them. But the treaty isn’t what put the current pressure on the Cherokee. It was the Obama Administration’s threat to withhold money from the tribe. The Housing and Urban Development office apparently has the power to withhold $33 million [18] from the Cherokee Nation, at will.

So, the Cherokee Nation, a federally recognized tribe within the United States of America, cannot amend its own constitution, and it cannot determine membership in its own tribe. That is the outcome of this Negro issue in Oklahoma—land of the “Red Man.”

And Negro leftist Cornel West [19] thinks Indians are “our Red brothers and sisters [20]”?

The principle of freedom of association [21] appears to be anathema for the emerging liberal-totalitarian managerial state [22]. In the U.K., they came for the British National Party, ordering it to accept non-whites even if they did not agree with its policies [23]. In the U.S., they are coming for Christian campus groups, forcing them to accept homosexual members even though they think homosexuality is a sin. [Vanderbilt University nondiscrimination policy called unfair to religious groups [24], by Michael Cass and Jennifer Brooks, The Tennessean, September 27, 2011]. In Mussolini's words [25]: "Everything within the state, nothing outside the state, nothing against the state".

American Indians sovereignty is over now. [26] The Negro has made it so. The white oedipal liberals have ordained that he make it so. The Negro is the tool of white Oedipal, determined to destroy race.

Indian identity is on the rocks. Blood is meaningless. It’s all about names.

That’s the liberal way—a fantasy world of words.

The true Indians will survive and thrive.  There are many full blood untainted tribal members on the reservations and allotted lands who hold treaties, land and blood close to their heart.

Creator will help us survive for generations to come.

Yes "true Indians" will survive, however I predict that within the next 20 years OR LESS , they will not be surviving or living on reservation land cause the Feds will take that land. Most alloted lands given to Indians came via the Dawes allotment acts 1887-89.  Dawes allotees by accepting that alloted land no longer have any actual TREATY RIGHTS that their particular tribe signed prior to the Dawes Acts. By coming up with the Dawes Allotment acts alot of Tribal lands were done away with communally speaking-owned by the Tribes. Such is the case with the CNO today , who took the Dawes Act allotments and later disbanded in 1914 with no reservation land with Indians living on it left to govern.  In title 25 of Federal Indian Laws it states that the Federal Government DOES NOT HAVE TO HONOR ANY TREATIES OR AGREEMENTS with Indian TRIBES made after 1871. The Feds giveth Federal Recognition and they can take it away with the stroke of a pen anytime they wish to do so , not Federally Recognized anymore means paying property taxes on every acre of "reservation land"- No Treaty rights honored, No casinos, lol, the end of the Feds paying any compensation payments for lands taken in the past.  You can plainly see what has happened now to the CNO whose members took the Dawes Acts and accepted individual land allotments. They got not rights at all legally now to any Treaty Rights on the 1866 Civil War Treaty with the Cherokees. The CNO now is legal basis wise just a Ethnic group CORPORATION after the REORGANIZED under the 1934 Indian REORGANIZATION ACTS and were allowed to incorporate in 1976 as the CNO- Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma. The feds will simply keep pecking away at the tribes, getting their land one piece at a time just like that Bluff of the Comanches they wanted that David posted on a while back. Its just a matter of time till they multicultarize the tribes in those states north of Oklahoma and take all their land as well.  A imigration figure of around 600k a year means the Feds got to have more land available for settlements for these incoming ones! Sioux lands such as the Black Hills and other areas have a lot of natural resource minerals on it which means BIG MONEY FOR THE GOVERNMENT in selling it to BIG CORPORATE MINING COMPANIES. So the Feds will get it, a little at a time , or all at once, but they will get it all before its over with!

I agree with you, Motoy.  I've always said, when it came to the casino bit, the Feds can take sovereignty away as easily as give it.  The NIGA (nigguh?), National Indian Gaming Association always brags about the annual "revenue" of the casinos, as if that is what Indians get.  We get only a tiny fraction of that.  The syndicate, state, and politicians get the lion's share.

But the NIGA brags, what, $28, $30, $35 billion a year?  combined?

Well, the BIA allotment to all the tribes is, what, $3.5 billion?

You know how stupid politicians and attorneys in Congress actually are.  Just how long will it be before they see these figures, and say, "Hey!  What do Indians need $3.5 billion for?  They're getting 10 times that from their casinos!"

So, they'll nix the BIA commitment to the tribes.

How racist and unpatriotic you two are.  The two highest supreme laws of the land are the United States Constitution and the Indian Treaties. Both stand strong on this land of American society both tribal lands and white lands.  If one falls the other goes along with it.

*Well then it is their own damn fault and the Cherokee leadership at that time.  No brains on how to govern or take care of their reservation lands. sold it, married negroes, adopted negroes, made the negroes who were former slaves their relatives and now look at them.

No leadership nothing yet today and so they reap what they sow.  Negroes are in and the Indian is out.  You don't shut that outhouse door the Negroe will crawl and did crawl out of the wood pile and right into Indian citizenship.

Not the white man or black mans fault but the cherokee indians placing blame geesh.

Fools I say fools.  Weak Indian men are the root of all the Indian problems of today.

Recognizing our dangers is not weakness.  It is strategy.
Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.  The United States trampled on the rights of Serbia.  The United States help give the heart of the homeland Kosovo to the Albanian Muslims.

Obama and Hillary Clinton want a complete change of the US Constitution.  Obama thinks it is fundamentally flawed, and Hillary wants a constitutional convention, to make changes.

We have to recognize these liabilities, and try to plan for some kind of "back up."

*It will never happen.  Hilary is flawed her marriage is/was flawed with adultery etc.  She is a dirty stinky woman up close who doesn't shower but puts on expensive perfumes to mask her body odor. Her character is flawed.

*Obama is flawed.  He is not a white person nor a African person he exists just to exist.  He is flawed in his common sense and ability to lead and thus the flawed Americans voted for him.

When a person is flawed everything they see is flawed a mirror image of their own self. Well the constitution and indian treaties are not flawed they are the foundation of this land.

If is is even a possibility that the government could nix the treaties, for whatever reason, we need to have a serious backup.  Nixon started a program to drop tribes from "federal recognition" back in the 70's.  Most of those tiny family bands of California "tribes" were nixed.  They didn't even live in California any more.

But the point is, the government apparently does have the power to nix federal recognition.

So, Indians need to at least consider plans for how we would manage ourselves, our peoples, our identities, if suddenly our federal recognition was revoked.

Some people think the reservations enslave us to misery, and that the reservations should be eliminated.

What is our back-up plan, if something like that happened?

Just theorizing.  Can't hurt, can it?
