Columbus, Turks, and Indians

by David Yeagley · October 12, 2012 · 27 Comments ·

On this day, October 12th, the real Columbus Day, there is occasion to remark on the matter of Europe, Islam, and American Indians. Oklahoma Senator Tom Cole, Republican representative (4th District) in the United States Congress, and member of the Chickasaw Nation, has recently affiliated American Indian tribes with aggressively Islamic Turkey. (See: Islamist Watch, “Stunner: Turkey Infiltrating Native American Tribes – and May Get Congressional Help.”)

Oklahoma Representative Tom Cole.

Historically, Islam has always been a threat to Europe (and everywhere else) from the day Mohammad claimed to be a prophet and unsheathed his murderous sword. A great part of the pressure which led Europe to exploration in the New World was created by the nigh-lethal choke hold Islam held on Europe. Remember, Columbus embarked on his mission the very year Ferdinand and Isabella reclaimed Granada–1492.

Christopher Columbus, 1451-1506.

Not that Cristóbal Colón (Christopher Columbus) ever met an American Indian (having never set foot on the North American continent), but his reliable cartology (i.e., the mapping of a route to the New World) is universally regarded as the basis for all European involvement in the Americas. Therefore, it is at least somewhat appropriate to note the historical circumstances of his October 12 citing of San Salvador (and island of the Bahamas).

And therefore the supreme irony of Representative Cole’s arrangements between American Indians and the aggressive Islamic government of Turkey become apparent. It is the fact that an American Indian would consider Islam as something other, or worse, better, than the European Catholic (or English Protestant) invasion of America. That Cole would make a dramatic association with Islam is one of the worst possible moves an American Indian could possibly make. It associates American Indians with the lethal enemies of America, at a time when America is most vulnerable–especially with a alien, lying black African Communist Muslim traitor in the White House.

Extraordinary Celebration: Turkey’s Embassy in Washington hosts Native American Tribal leaders to celebrate an early committee-level victory for H.R. 2362, which would give Turkey exclusive investment preferences and special rights in Native American tribal lands. ANCA—Facebook.

Cole has taken surreptitious and unforgivably disgraceful advantage of Indian people–in a way that will bring nothing but opprobrium upon us, and make life ever more difficult as Americans.

Indian people generally seek recognition and national status, or certainly the status identified in the Declaration of Independence and in the Constitution of the United States (Article I, Section 8). In as much as most of the historical tribes feel that this nation status has never been truly established and maintained, some ambitious Indian leaders have been quick to solicit national status recognition by international bodies (such as the United Nations), and certainly by other countries in the world.

And, frankly, most of this recognition is limited to economic exchange of one kind or another. Land resources of the larger reservations, such as minerals, water, (and even grazing), are hot items for international “infiltration,” as it were. All nations hate America, or are deeply envious, and all seek to cut out a piece of the pie for themselves.

Certainly, Representative Cole’s action, H.R. 2362, the Indian Trade and Investment Demonstration Project, may be one of the first of its kind in its brazen cooperation with Islam–the enemy of all freedom. That Cole should seek to deliver Indian people into the hands of America’s enemies is reprehensible and unforgivable. To deliver Indian land over to the enemy is impeachable. Cole should be banished from the Chickasaw Nation, and exiled from the United States of America. He is acting the part of a traitor.

Now, to account for the part of Indian people in this Cole deal: Indian people are very proud and inevitably independent in spirit. We have paid enormous prices to remain who we are, or at least as much as we can be. Indian people, especially those on the Indian media edge (usually liberal-trained), are often very willing to accept recognition and honor from foreign countries. This may seem politically naïve to non-Indian Americans, but, it means a lot to Indian people.

However, to accept honor from America’s enemies is downright foolish, and very dangerous. Indians are being taken advantage of, by Representative Cole and by the Turkish government, and by Islam, and are placing themselves in the camp of the enemy of America.

What is completely outrageous, uninformed, and historically egregious, is that fact that some of these liberal Indians think that Muslim leaders would have treated them different, or worse, better, than the Protestant Christians of England. This is incredibly mistaken. It is abundantly stupid.

Arab Muslims are the most cruel, slave-driving, denigrating madmen in the world. Their perfectly consistent history demonstrates their consistently aberrant character.

If the blame game is to be played here, let Indians blame Islam for its brutal war on Europe, and causing Europe to respond with geographic expansion, ultimately leading to the invasion of the Americas. Blame Islam.

And, I say, be thankful it was the White Anglo-Saxon Protestants that created America, and not the lying Arabs. The WASPS actually showed unprecedented respect. Compare their treatment of the American Indian to the treatment of the peoples the Arab Muslims conquered. Look at history!

I have only recently become aware of this Cole “Islamic-Indian” bill. I would have protested it, and worked against it from the beginning. Cole has does the worst disservice to American Indian people since Columbus–if we’re to consider Columbus to have anything to do with American Indians. Cole’s bill is worse than any anti-American misconception of the completely fake and non-Indian Ward Churchill.

I say, again, the safest, most prosperous path Indian people can take is the path of American patriotism. This path alone will lead us to our original status of host, guide, and yes, savior, of the lost Pilgrims, the religious fugitives of England. The Pilgrims became great, and Indians share in the foundations of greatness. This is our American identity.

Why seek to identify with lesser gods, with barbaric slave-drivers, with cruel and miserable war mongers, who despise women, sanction all male perversity, and bring nothing but oppression and misery into the world?

Is this Cole’s idea of working for Indian people?

Islamic ways are not Indian ways!

[NOTE: Indians love to dance. We love our customs. Our fathers died that we might have them. I really believe that dancing is what is important. Indians don't dance for anyone but ourselves. I note that there are no Chickasaw Indians in any of the pictures posted in the above Islamist Watch article. There are none identified, and now Chickasaw dress displayed. Cole is using the stereo-typical plains Indian attire and dance, for this is what the ignorant world regards as "Indian." The fact is, the Chickasaw people have their own attire, and their own dances--quite different from the plains style. You'd think Cole would know this. But the traitorous "Indian" Representative has carefully kept his own tribe out of the picture. His bill may be based on the Chickasaw Nation resources, for Islamic Turkey, but he is clearly wanting to involve all Indians. I say it's time to attack Tom Cole. Let the war hoops begin!]

    From the IslamistWatch link:

“tribal students now study in Turkey with full scholarships; Turkish high officials regularly appear at Native American economic summits; and dozens of tribal leaders have gone to Turkey on lavish all-expense paid trips.”

Apparently most of humanity will sell their soul (and everyone else’s) for a few pieces of silver. Razzle dazzle and presto–more inroads for Islam!

  • 2 zephyr // Oct 12, 2012 at 12:00 pm

Muslims have certainly worked this out–taking advantage of every minority group to leverage their influence in the U.S.

Cole is clearly another RINO, and is historically ignorant and/or a flat out charlatan. For me, the money line: “What is completely outrageous, uninformed, and historically egregious, is that fact that some of these liberal Indians think that Muslim leaders would have treated them different, or worse, better, than the Protestant Christians of England. This is incredibly mistaken. It is abundantly stupid.” It is amazing to me that anyone can look at history and conclude a moral equivalence of European Christians with Muslims. For example, who showed Europeans how to engage in the slave trade in the first place? With respect to commerce, it is one of the few things that Europeans didn’t invent. Who even up until a few decades ago still legally allowed human slavery? Who to this day still engages in slavery? Whose alleged holy book recommends lying and deception in order to enslave, kill, or convert non-Muslims. Ugh, I could go on, but anyway, I personally do not consider Islam a religion, I consider it a personality cult and political totalitarian system for repressed and perverted dolts.

Furthermore, any “American” that would cut a special deal with a Muslim country like Turkey today is a traitor in my mind. That he is Congressman to boot, is just more fodder for my personal assessment that between all forms of cultural Marxists (i.e., the hardcore Democratic variety and the RINO lite version) we are toast. That a person would claim himself to be an American, a congressional representative, and a representative of an American Indian tribe, yet delivers his countyrmen and women into the hands of a perverted, anti-America, anti-rationality,anti-art, anti-music, anti-just about anything of lasting beauty is not just traitorous, but suicidal. Welcome to America circa 2012, and welcome to a fairly representative version of Dante’s Inferno’s eigth and ninth circles (i.e., fraud and treachery, and especially treachery).

Also, and even if he claims to be representing an American Indian tribe, what the heck is a Congressman doing cutting deals with other countries (Muslim or not)? I could be wrong, but I thought that individual representatives were not allowed to do such things.

I’m not sure what exactly I will do about this, but, I’m living here in Oklahoma, a native of the state. I’m certainly going to do something!

The “honor” that foreign countries give American Indians is tends to be false, manipulative, and all for purposes of anti-Americanism.

  • 6 Bonus Gift // Oct 12, 2012 at 2:37 pm

Passed by the John Adams administration in 1799, the Logan Act is still law, “The Logan Act (18 U.S.C.A. § 953 [1948]) is a single federal statute making it a crime for a citizen to confer with foreign governments against the interests of the United States. Specifically, it prohibits citizens from negotiating with other nations on behalf of the United States without authorization.”

The act itself is short and reads:
“Any citizen of the United States, wherever he may be, who, without authority of the United States, directly or indirectly commences or carries on any correspondence or intercourse with any foreign government or any officer or agent thereof, with intent to influence the measures or conduct of any foreign government or of any officer or agent thereof, in relation to any disputes or controversies with the United States, or to defeat the measures of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.
This section shall not abridge the right of a citizen to apply, himself or his agent, to any foreign government or the agents thereof for redress of any injury which he may have sustained from such government or any of its agents or subjects.”

Of course this would cover many other traitors, but it seems to me that it should apply to one “Representative Cole”.

He’s following that hostile, anti-American white liberal line that wants to use Indians to prick America’s soft side.

It’s never made me feel more Indian to strike out against America. I think it is extremely immature, insensible, and very dangerous. I think it harms Indians, worst of all.

I’ve been at this ten years, and I don’t think I’ve made a dent. But, some Indians tell me I have….

Excellent – A+ insight. I was talking today how there was absolutely no mention of Columbus Day (my firstborn’s birthday). The mailman didn’t show up on Monday, so that was my first hint. Completely forgot about the Muslims overrunning Spain – the truth is, even if you don’t know your history, and most of us don’t, the muslim tyrrany is running in real time – those folks have never stopped with the Jihad and never will until they are outlawed and defeated.

Someone needs to subpoena Mr.Cole’s financial records – he has probably accepted a tidy little bribe for providing another small little Trojan horse into the country.

  • 9 Asaph // Oct 12, 2012 at 6:14 pm

    Unbelievable. Absolutely outrageous.

The ignorance of politicians just never ends. It is an unending stream of blindness and/or arrogance.

  • 10 Asaph // Oct 12, 2012 at 6:44 pm

Didn’t Obama cross a line of the Logan act before he was elected?

With Cole, was he given authority by the administration to go ahead with this, and would that not make perfect sense, given Obama’s affections for all things Islam?

I am obviously mistaken but I thought Indian tribes were sovereign nations within a nation.

David, I must ask this. What would American Indians have in common with Muslims that they would see some kind of unity with them, perhaps solidarity in all this?

  • 11 Asaph // Oct 12, 2012 at 6:46 pm

    Trojan horse. Well stated.

  • 12 Ellendra // Oct 13, 2012 at 2:50 pm

“I’ve been at this ten years, and I don’t think I’ve made a dent. But, some Indians tell me I have….”

I can’t speak for anyone else, but you’ve given me new things to ponder. When I first came across your blog you had written something to the effect that white folks should stop being ashamed of their heritage, and should be proud of it instead. I thought I had done a pretty good job of resisting the liberal brainwashing I got in school, but this idea of taking pride in being caucasian, that’s an alien concept to me, and I’m grateful to you for introducing it

  • 13 David Yeagley // Oct 13, 2012 at 9:09 pm

Thank you very much, Ellendra. I’m very happy you feel that way.

Now here’s some ‘mental’ exercise: am I being liberal, or conservative? If I advocate the preservation and honor of the American Indian nations, should I not also “grant the right” of other nations to preserve and honor themselves?

Well, I do believe that nations and ethnicities and races must take the responsibility of preserving themselves. To be sustained by the good graces of another race or nation is like being a museum piece, or something. That’s sort of what Indian are, to a great extent.

And very willing to bite the hand that feeds us, or, I should say, that made us hungry to begin with! Ha!

But, truly, I believe nationhood is ordained, and we should honor it. Race, language, and religion are at the foundation of every real nation.

I don’t believe real Christianity was a ploy to political take-over of nations, but Islam has always been just that.

But the white race(s) is clearly the only one that has really accomplished power in the world. It created the world we live in today.

The white nations were essentially Christian…

  • 14 Jez // Oct 14, 2012 at 2:04 pm

Turkey is perhaps the most secular Islamic nation in the world, and not one renowned for extremist expressions of the religion. I visited the country twice and found the people to be very hospitable to visitors. Perhaps more so than in western nations. Islam is still a growing undercurrent in the country, just as it is now in European nations.

Cultural interchange can be viewed positively or negatively depending ont he context. If American-Indian students convert to Islam whilst studying in Turkey and then try to convert other Indians upon return (or Americans of any ethnicity for tha matter) then it cannot be beneficial. If they simply learn more about a foreign culture then no harm is done.

However as Indians have a culture of their own and keen awareness of historical marginalisation, then I suspect most will stay loyal. If a people have a culture to cling to then it encourages loyalty. Whites on the other hand have a diminished sense of culture identity with the decline of Christianity, and are often reminded by the liberal media of their wrongdoings in the past. That is dire for us in the long term, as it increases rates of disloyalty and disunity. I say that a white person with an interest in this blog.

I myself think most human groups can be both proud and ashamed of what they did in the past, but the most important right as David Yeagley agrees is that all ethnic groups/nationalities should have a right to preserve their heritage.

  • 15 Asaph // Oct 14, 2012 at 3:08 pm

I certainly do not have the traveling experience you do, Jez, but the link David posted to this commentary:

    http://pjmedia.com/blog/stunner-turkey-infiltrating-native-american-tribes-%E2%80%94-and-may-get-congressional-help/?singlepage=true

certainly seems quite ominous in nature.

An issue for David and other Indians is one thing, but 220 votes in favor of this is quite another. Thankfully defeated, it could come up again, or will another nation be given special status like this and receive a winning vote? Foreign nations in the heartland? Islamic foreign nations? Communist foreign nations next? China has an 8% interest in America now. Can China start buying land and doing what she wants with it? Can the traitorous blindness in Congress become much worse before some total sell out of America Progressives are able to pull off with help from RINOs and the military industrial complex?

  • 16 Eagle Bear // Oct 14, 2012 at 10:08 pm

I am deeply disappointed in American Indian tribes who non chalantly dismiss invaders into this country. One would think there should be some kind of impact on ALL Indians after lessons learned about invaders every since the arrival of the Nina, Pinto, and Santa Maria. I see this apathy as a victory score for the BadWhites in government who wanted to destroy and mute Indians, because, for the most part, Indians seem to be muted and voiceless. Indians and their GoodWhite supporters both came out as losers.

I have always had high hopes the tribal governments would organize and come together in one powerful voice against the invasion of illegals from all over the planet. Instead, Tom Cole, is front and center with his plan which offers infiltration to potentially dangerous foreigners. II hope Judicial Watch will follow Sioux’s idea about Cole’s financial records. I will see if I can pass that on to them.

I coined the word Assican for any so called Americans who are unfit to be on American soil. In my opionion, Cole is an Assican. I think he should be on the Judicial Watch list of corrupt politicians. He deserves rank on the list along with Barry and Eric Holder.

David, I am truly grateful to you for honoring your ancestors and speaking out on this issue. I hope your voice here will have a good effect and from one (you) will come many. Instead of silence you are a iight in the darkness.

If anyone wants to contact Cole, here is a link contacting government officials.

    http://www.usa.gov/Contact/Elected.shtml

I would like to have a full list of everyone who is involved in this. I keep wondering if the bogus POTUS, our Liar-in-Chief, had any involvement in this. I would like to give a piece of my mind to everyone involved.

  • 18 David Yeagley // Oct 15, 2012 at 8:04 am

    Thanks, EB!

Yes, it seems that people like Cole want to continue the myopia of Indian country, selling their children for a bottle of whiskey. Just immediate, selfish gratification, no thought for the future.

I’ll sent the link to this article to Cole! Ha! Fellow Oklahoman, eh? Let’s see, do I want to start a war with the Chickasaw? Hmmm. Well, like I said, I don’t think any Chickasaw were involved in the display before the Turks. That was all plains Indian, in appearance.

But, we shall see. Thanks again.

“Dr.. Faye deems the idea of a secular, moderate Islam a myth invented by scared Western politicians.” — Alex Kurtagic (from a book review)

You know, the world in general has always been insane!

The root of the problem seems to be selfishness. People lack a decent sense of values because they put their selfish perceived interest first. This is the opposite of love and of patriotism. Many people crave material possessions, power over others, and exalted personal status. These drives make people competitive (in a selfish way) and unloving.

“Indian people are very proud and inevitably independent in spirit. We have paid enormous prices to remain who we are, or at least as much as we can be.” — David Yeagley

The world needs to know this. This needs to remain forever true. This is the example I would have the European nations follow. (I would have White America follow it also, but I consider White America, at least at present, a hopeless case.)

I respect the Indian nations and consider that it would be an irreplaceable loss for us all should they and their unique culture not be preserved. Whites have lost their minds and will get what they deserve. But conservative American Indians are not like this. Rather, their position is of a people betrayed. Even if White America commits suicide, I still would find some comfort if the American Indian can survive the tragic attacks on his identity and culture and prevail in the end.

  • 20 Thrasymachus // Oct 15, 2012 at 1:27 pm

I should have written above: “shoud they and their unique cultures,” plural.

Yes, if the Euro invasion of the Americas should self-destruct and the American Indian nations revive — there would be some — I don’t know if ‘poetic’ is appropiate here — justice in that.

I have reached a point where the mental state of Whites perplexes me and I am incapable of forming a meaningful and coherent diagnosis of their collective pathology. It is called Liberalism, to be sure. But just why it has become so dominant is beyond me, as my knowledge is, after all, extremely limited. It seems that the more I “learn,” the less I know, the less I understand.

  • 21 Bonus Gift // Oct 15, 2012 at 3:35 pm

    Thrasymachus:

I would recommend and point out several things:
    1) Try to not give up. It is a cliché but still true to state that “it is darkest”, and coldest I might add, “before the dawn.” The U.S. as we knew it may be going down the tubes (actually it likely already has) but that doesn’t mean a good fight isn’t in order and something valuable and good cannot be salvaged (and you just never know). Clichés all, but at least there is personal honor in not giving up and in to evil.
    2) Regarding the form of the evil that has contributed largely to the downfall and cleansing of Europeans, I might suggest reading: Explaining Postmodernism by Stephan R.C. Hicks.
    3) Also, just because, I felt that a quote or five from Alexander Solzhenitsyn might be in order (on courage, socialism, willpower, freedom, and “the West”): On courage today (i.e., in a 1979 speech he made): “may be the most striking feature which an outside observer notices in the West in our days. The Western world has lost its civil courage, both as a whole and separately, in each country, each government, each political party and of course in the United Nations. Such a decline in courage is particularly noticeable among the ruling groups and the intellectual elite, causing an impression of loss of courage by the entire society.” On socialism: “The well-known Soviet mathematician Shafarevich, a member of the Soviet Academy of Science, has written a brilliant book under the title Socialism; it is a profound analysis showing that socialism of any type and shade leads to a total destruction of the human spirit and to a leveling of mankind into death.” In short, don’t think this will end well for anyone (i.e., we all must try to stop this or submit future generations to moral and ethical death; as well as material). On the loss of willpower: “And yet — no weapons, no matter how powerful, can help the West until it overcomes its loss of willpower. In a state of psychological weakness, weapons become a burden for the capitulating side. To defend oneself, one must also be ready to die; there is little such readiness in a society raised in the cult of material well-being. Nothing is left, then, but concessions, attempts to gain time and betrayal.” On freedom: “You only have power over people so long as you don’t take everything away from them. But when you’ve robbed a man of everything he’s no longer in your power—he’s free again.” On “the West”: Today when we say the West we are already referring to the West and to Russia. We could use the word ‘modernity’ if we exclude Africa, and the Islamic world, and partially China.

I just read the last quote when searching for some other quotes (one I couldn’t find on the tragedy of losing European peoples) and thought it was somewhat humorous given what was discussed about the “Islamic world”. Anyway, read Explaining Postmodernism and it might help explain what happened; at least it helped me to some extent.

    Bonus Gift,

I believe that you and I have very similar thoughts and beliefs. The book you recommend is something that I’ll definitely want to check out.

My despair comes from the fact that EVERY member of my family has already — or so it appears — been taken in and persuaded by the Party Line. They parrot the false media mantras, e.g.,”We are a nation of immigrants.” (The falsehood betraying the fact that the child of an immigrant is NOT an immigrant — the distinction here being very important. Also, this implies that all immigrants are equal and interchangeable, and that the national origins and circumstance of the various immgrants have nothing to do with the question.)

  • 23 Bonus Gift // Oct 15, 2012 at 4:14 pm

My sister does to a large extent too, and it saddens me beyond belief. Although, I must say that she is not so generous towards illegals and their offspring after being raped by one. Is it really too much to ask to have sane immigration policies again? I’ll say it until I die, a country is not just some random collection of individuals living in some large flop house, it is real people linked by common blood and history. This outright evil meme that we are some random collection of “immigrants” is not just historically inaccurate but insulting. Also, I know Mr. Yeagley talks about the “full bloods” and I think I know why, but you and I probably have more blood and most certainly historical connections to him than we’ll ever have with some economic interloper who is scamming the system for what he or she can get while the getting is good. It’s late for me right now and I’ll stop right there and wish you luck; and I really do recommend the book.

  • 24 Thrasymachus // Oct 15, 2012 at 4:15 pm

Clichés are not foolish and they do not bother me when used appropriately. They would not endure, were it not for the truths they interpret for us. :)

Haaaaaaaaa. Rez dog Yeagley seems to have a problem with Blacks. But see, Blacks are strong. They came as slaves to America and have produced great people. Meanwhile the LAZY NATIVE REZ DOGS just keep on whining. Use your energy to save your pathetic race and leave Blacks alone. Weird-looking donkey. Useless feather-wearing people.
