Already, the liberals are after Dawn Loggins, the ‘white trash’ girl wondrously saved by Harvard. Already, the liberal vultures smell blood. The stench of propaganda opportunity fills their grotesque beaks. And some thought I was dramatizing.
Ever hear of The Young Turks? It claims to be the largest online news show in the world. It is solid Left, proudly disturbing the status quo, like every Communist since Marx. Here’s their brief bleeding heart swoon over Dawn Loggins. They want her! Badly!
Leftist heroism. Institutional salvation. Success. Glamor. Stardom.
But what we’d really like to know is who made the admissions decision at Harvard; what were her SAT scores? Were there any scores? I’m sure that her files are already sealed, by executive order, as it were.
Founder of The Young Turks, Cenk Uygur, is in fact literal “young Turk,” born in Istanbul, immigrated to the United States with his family in 1978. The kid actually started out quite conservative, and was even involved in Republican politics. But, by the year 2000, Uygur had ‘evoled’ into a hard core liberal.

Now, personally, I have always been fascinated with Turks and Armenians. But, I won’t go into that. I simply wish to point out here that the “oppressed” (real or imaginary) of the Third World who come to America nearly always turn out to be profound liberals–as if this somehow justifies their good fortune here. They feel grateful, and they naturally want to share their good fortune, or they want others to have it. This somehow becomes articulated through the standard liberal ideology: everyone has a right to ritz and glamor in the United States. Anyone, born anywhere, has the divine right to be a success–in America. These foreigners make a serious religion out of it. It is a moral imperative for them. Immigrants are becoming the cutting edge of liberalism in many ways. They feel self-conscious about their own success here, and simply must take up the cause of all those who are not so fortunate.
Enter: white trash Dawn Loggins. “Brought me to tears,” said Ana Karsparian. Of course. What better object of compassion that an American-born, blue-eyed, blue-blood white trash girl? The perfect focus of all professional liberal immigrant advocacy. Nothing makes the immigrant more American than to show compassion on a real American who is far beneath them socially and economically. Nothing calls for their bleeding heart more dramatically.
The Young Turks want Dawn Loggins, for sure. The dawn of success for Dawn. The ultimate internet “log-in.” Dawn Loggins. (Get it?) There will be myriads of them. Dawn will become star of all white failure, the poster child of liberal success and salvation for the fallen white female. This is incredible.
We await full disclosure of the story of Dawn Loggins, for sure.
In the meantime, Young Turks is anxious to discredit Christianity and the Bible, and recently leaped on the opportunity. After praising the Communist Guardian for a pertinent article, they discuss an excerpt therefrom, regarding the story of Saul and the Amalekites (I Samuel 15):
Without bothering to unravel this knot of improprieties, we must report that we are unable to locate an example of our Young Turk theologians taking to task the Qur’an.
We also note that the Negro “Who Shot,” on the Young Turk site, faithfully practices the liberal doctrine of miscegenation, or the reasonable facsimiles thereof:

Harvard does have a Republican Club, and a blog. Do you suppose they’d be willing to make an effort to reach the new liberal trophy, Dawn Loggins?

I’ve seen that turk program on youtube. The guy is a really a raving madman at times. I get the feeling despite her young age that Loggins is pretty sharp and level headed. I would she will be able to see through the garbage that is about to surround her.

I am glad you are writing about this girl Dr. Yeagley. When I saw her story on the local news, it hit me immediately that she will probably become a perfect little liberal in a few years. She probably will not even notice that she is being brainwashed. I actually feel bad for her because she doesn’t realize what she is in for at Harvard. I bet the libs get all warm and fuzzy when they see her, their newest pet project. Liberals are absolutely horrible people. Thanks for writing about this.

At least one source (ABC) reports something about Dawn’s scholastic records:
Her hard work earned Loggins a 2,110 SAT score and a 3.9 GPA, according to ABC. The teen will receive financial aid and have an on-campus job at Harvard where she plans to major in biology.
She’s started a non-profit for poor students. The kid is bright, no doubt. But, already owned by liberals. That is sad. Everything she is, all her advancement, is the result of CONSERVATIVE values. That liberals should claim her, is tragic, deceptive, and evil.

I will soon write a piece on homelessness. I know what it is. But, I’m thinking a lot of this news bit is fake. These kids don’t look emaciated. There is something very suspicious about these stories. Their teeth are beautiful. They don’t look malnurished. What’s wrong here?
Notice that the only social worker interviewed is a black woman–helping all these lost WHITE youth. Beautiful, eh?

The instructors at Harvard are merely tools of the corporate elites, much like the clowns on talk radio. They have no insight. They have no gravitas. It doesn’t matter who they “convert.” Their function is to inflame divisions and discourage unity while Ivy League educated Corporate gangsters dismantle American sovereignty and reduce our civil liberties.
Think Obama is a Socialist? Think again. Romney eagerly supports Obama’s latest fire sale of American wealth. Obama wants a place at the table of global oligarchy.

Now, I heard about this, but not that Romney is a big backer of it. That may be true. I’ve learned to trust your information, WT.
And there’s also this one: Obama gets win as Congress passes free-trade agreements This is different than the Pacific trade agreement you cite.
That word “corporate” is automatically associated with Romney, but, I don’t see it just yet. Romney’s adviser said he supported it. Romney supports Japan’s entry into the agreement, and one group really protests that.
You think Romney puts business above America?
Barry is realizes that demeaning America is in the best interests of global business? Is that what you’re saying?

Obama’s role is PRECISELY about demeaning America in the service of Global Financial Interests, and Romney’s role is to wave the flag in service of the same masters. It’s a win-win for the sociopaths pulling the strings. They could care less about America.
We are left to choose between treason with a beret and jaunty mustache, or treason with an American flag lapel pin. Either way, we are voting for the enemy.

Okay. I can think in terms of complete conspiracy.
Mountain people, anywhere in the world, are always suspicious of the outside world. Mountain people are insular, isolated, and, frankly, solipsistic.
Comanche people were mountain people. Southern Rockies. When we came out, onto the plains, discovered our spiritual relative–the horse, we immediately seized power, drove off every other people from the our plains.
Why? We had no use for anyone else. All other people were unimportant. We didn’t care about them, did not need them, and didn’t want anything to do with them.
This is mountainism. We maintained our isolationism even when we rode the wind. We are still a closed society, in many respects, intuitively.
So, I understand your view. But I don’t think non-participation in the greater world insures your own survival. Mountain people may survive, but it’s simply because there aren’t enough of them to really count. They don’t have enough that the outside world really wants. If the government wanted your mountains, I doubt your black powder could hold them off.

Lawndale, NC is in Cleveland County, in the western part of North Carolina. Population: 642 (census 2000).
This was Dawn’s most recent abode. However, we do not know where she was born, nor all the different towns she lived in. This is rather important information, seems to me.

Now, Dawn feels that she distinguished herself “from 36,000 other applicants.” How do you supposed she did that? They all had the highest SAT’s and 4.0 averages. There’s no point in applying without that. What distinguished her?

We note also the interest of Negro blogger in the Dawn Loggins story. Take The Obamacrat, for instance. It isn’t really about owning the story, but it is about greed for pity. The professional Negroes simply cannot abide any other race being the object of one throb of the great bleeding heart of liberals.
And now with a poor white trash girl the object, the Negro writers must pity her! This makes them white at last, white at last, white at last. The Negro pities the white. The Negro has arrived. The Negro is now on top. Finally!

My name is Alexis, I’m am Dawn’s half sister. The picture of ‘Dawn and Father’ is actually her Mom and her Step-father. And Dawn didn’t look emaciated or malnourished because she wasn’t. She was living with friends until another janitor took her in as her own. She is not turning into a liberal, or a conservative, she is too strong-willed for that. She established the non-profit because people were sending in donations to her at her school when her story was published in the Shelby Star Newspaper. She wanted to buy everything for college using the money she earned as a janitor, and she wanted to put the donations to good use. She was born in Catawba County, in NC. She lived with her grandmother until she was twelve, and then she lived with my father and mother. They lived in Asheville, Hendersonville, Catawba, Long View, Nexton, Hickory, another house in Newton, and countless others that I can’t remember at the time. She never published the story in the newspaper to get pity, she wanted to inspire other kids with dreams. She made a lot of people believe that dreams do come true after all. Just wanted to let you know.
