The South is normally very patriotic. How they were seduced into voting for the slime-slithering newt (Newt Gingrich) is an amazing phenomenon. Ann Coulter says they seemed more impressed with witty word clips against Obama than with the prospects of actually beating him in 2012. With Newt, she said, you throw out the baby and keep the bath water.
So how did those grand old patriots of the South get snowed by the white-haired salamander? He’s not truly conservative at all. The only thing he has is a consistent record of double dealing and two-timing. At least Romney has made progress, politically. He has become more and more conservative. Newt has always been a profound moderate, jut like McCain. Newt, like his name, is a political amphibian, with very recent examples, like lobbying for home-wrecking, debt-exploding Freddie Mac and pocketing $1.6-8 million; like getting cozy with Pelosi over ‘global’ warming–supporting Al Gores “climate change” hoax and its job-killing intent. Need we mention his demonstrable inability to manage the most important human relationship–marriage? Yet we’re to believe he can manage the country? Sounds like another Clinton to me.

The newt.
Three years ago, the majority of Americans elected an alien, lying, black African Communist Muslim traitor, and thought all would be well. Now it appears the notion that Americans might consider a twice-divorced conservative pretender, a true liberal, who can talk. Now we have a white boy, a transplant Southerner originally from Pennsylvania. He’s articulate, bright, clean…(but he looks like he might wear dirty socks). So, that’s it? You have to be able to out-talk Obama to win? You have to speak that Washington “dialek”? (As apposed to the Negro dialect.)
Who honestly thinks Barry Soetoro (Bari Shabbaz, Barak Hussein Obama, etc.) can talk? Who actually believes he has an IQ? This is a totally false fear Republicans have–that Obama is a deadly debater. He’s a entertainer, and mediocre at that. He’s black. That’s all. That’s what his presidency has all been about. It’s the only thing we know for sure about him, too.
And Newt is all about word-play. It will be a contest about who can lie the best, who can play with words.
Newt is a socialist, a two-bit money hound, and he lies about as often as Obama. He says whatever is needed, at the moment. But, the truth comes out in these manipulative moments. Consider:
“People power will beat big money.”
This is only Newt’s most recent profession of Communism, that is, class warfare. (Newt calls is “classic populism.”) Playing the demagogue. Playing the people. Just like Obama and the Democrats play them.
How clearly does this have to be spelled out? He accuses Mitt Romney of abusing capitalism–simply because Romney is a successful business man, worlds above the lowly Newt. Newt is proving to be petty, immature, and obviously envious of Romney’s success.
Newt told Megan Kelly (FoxNews, January 10) that capitalism must be controlled. There are limits, “it must be fair,” and there must be equality. He implied accusations that Romney was unfair, inequitable, abusive, and bad.
This is Newt’s reaction to success, big success. This is also Obama’s repeated testimony. Success is bad. Big success is evil. These are the minds of envious, angry men, black and white.
And Newt thinks he’s going to be the next president!
He might be. Lying is the way in Washington. Immorality is immortalized. Bill Clinton saw to all of that. Yes, Newt fit in perfectly. He is the Republican Bill Clinton, the Republican Barack Obama.
Finally, I believe in repentance. I wouldn’t dare touch the subject of Newt’s public (Catholic) profession of repentance. However, I see no change in his political thinking or behavior, nor would I expect to. Political leadership is amoral at this point in our country. So, Newt, you drop the pious baloney, OK? Talk about transparency!

Well said and posted.

Thanks, Brock.
You know, it seems unfair that we have to judge a man like this, but, it is only because he is running for elected office. He gets thrown in our face, full-blown, and we don’t even know him. He we knew him as a person, from long before, it would be different.
It is a solemn thing, to judge a man for office. Newt can easily out-talk Obama in a debate, but, none of that has anything to do with being president in office.

Especially if he became the nominee and Obama only agreed to one debate, totally controlled by his media. This seems to be the thing people are excited about – another wordsmith. A wordsmith with antagonism towards the MSM, which is all part of Newt’s process now. Play the cards that win. If people want tough talk, give it to them.
America is lost anyway. It’s just a matter of time. Would have been nice if there was someone who truly could be elected to lead as a true constitutional conservative. That is not Newt, nor Romney, nor Santorum, nor Paul. I still believe Paul is the best shot at freezing Washington, which is what needs to be done. The madmen need to be frozen. At least you know Paul would not sign any bills not in harmony with constitutional fiscal principles. But, looking at pictures of debates you’d never know he was part of this gig. Take Paul and give him Romney’s physical stature and speech and he’d be ahead by 25 points everywhere.

Moses was a murderer…
Abraham was a liar and a coward…
Jacob was a deceiver….
David was an adulterer and a murderer….
And yet, God used these very same people to carry out His will.
May be this is the so-called two-timing liar and conniver Newt Gingrich’s time to fulfill God’s will for America. May be it’s time we stop measuring people by how “conservative” or how “liberal” they may or may not be. None of us are mind readers, not even Ann Coulter.
I don’t believe that America is lost. God has done more for this nation than any other nation on the face of this earth and His heart is broken over America. And yet, I know He is hearing the prayers from His people here to restore and heal our nation.
“If My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek, crave, and require of necessity My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land.”
II Chronicles 7:14
To dredge up Newt’s bitter ex-wife to tattle tale about their unhappy marriage is a definite sign that Newt is a viable threat to the Emperor Obama’s reign. Furthermore, what do any of us know about their relationship? May be his wife was a cold fish. May be she used sex as a weapon, like many domineering wives do, to keep her husband in line. Remember the refrain from the old country song, “No one knows what goes on behind closed doors”?
Personally, I like Newt because he is pro-life, pro-Israel and is not afraid to look our enemies -CAIR, ISNA, and the rest of the pro-Sharia Law forces at work here on this soil in the eye and call them for what they are, the enemies of the American people.

Big Black Homosexual Barry will be re-elected this year.
The Republicans don’t have a chance in hell. The only one that my gut felt had half an ounce of integrity was Michelle Bachmann and she is toast.
Nope, America is done. It is prophetic for those who take a historicist approach to prophecy. Revelation 13 lines it out well.
Now, something to help Brobama? Today the EU imposed an oil sanction against the Iranian Haji’s. Iran claims that it will shut the Straits of Hormuz. Yes, their little joke of a navy could do it briefly. However, will Brobama open it up if they do? And if so, will he stop short of blowing all of those Shiite heads and there nuclear program to pieces?
Would Homosexual, Chicago Bath House Barry benefit from an encounter with the Haji’s? If we intervene, and give the Jews a shot at the nuclear sites…..the Yids will erect a statue of Black Barry as a righteous Gentile.
To Hell with Homosexual Black Barry and our Communist leaders both Democrat and Republican.

Additionally, Newt Gingrich is a scumbag just like John McCain.
Traitors. I never felt that McCain had it too bad in Hanoi. He was a traitor then, and a traitor now.

Maharishi, I’m just not quite clear on your position….

So, sorry, Mr. Chairman. I will attempt to rectify this in future posts.

Gingrich clobbered Romney with ads concerning Romney’s career as a “wealth creator.” That struck a cord in textile country. “Successful and creative” people who destroy rather than build industry don’t play real well in the South these days and Gingrich played to it with a swarm of attack ads.
The reason it was so effective is that Romney’s carreer as an economic parasite is so easy to verify. They didn’t vote for Newt. They voted against Romney.
10 David Yeagley // Jan 23, 2012 at 12:21 pm
Do you think not voting for Obama will get Newt elected?
11 whitetrash // Jan 23, 2012 at 1:16 pm
The only hope that Conservatives have in 2012 is motivating the electorate to vote against Obama. They really have nothing else to offer other than an alternative on the ballot.
12 David Yeagley // Jan 23, 2012 at 2:22 pm
The problem is, too many people can vote. ‘Voting privilege reform’ is what the country needs. If more than half the country weren’t ignorant, lazy, racist, liberal, and anti-American, the alien in the White House wouldn’t have ever gotten in.

Yesterday, on the 39th anniversary of Roe vs. Wade, Obama said that “abortion is a fundamental constitutional right”.
http://www.lifesitenews.com/news/obama-praises-fundamental-constitutional-right-to-abortion
This coming from a man who not only does not know what the US Constitution says, or means to most Americans, but who is fortunate his mother did not exercise her “fundamental constitutional right” and abort him!
Meanwhile, Newt Gingrich has promised that if he becomes president, he will de-fund Planned Parenthood.
Obamacare targets three specific groups for extermination. The elderly, the infirmed, or physically and mentally incapacitated-which includes people born with Down Syndrome-and the unborn.
Although it has not gone into effect yet, we need someone who will be the voice for those who cannot speak for themselves and will stop this eugenics mandate in it’s tracks. Again, I feel that Newt Gingrich is the man for the job.

The American people certainly deserve plenty of blame for this situation. No doubt about it. But at the end of the day, it was a primary featuring the likes of Newt and Mittens, and rural SC voted overwhelmingly for the corrupt, immoral career politician over the “successful, family values, wealth creator.”
I suppose a body could walk up on those folks in SC call them ignorant, lazy, racist, and anti-American… even tell them that they envy the rich man…… but a body is not likely to do it twice.
Just sayin….

No way I’m voting for a Catholic…or a Mormon.
16 Asaph // Jan 23, 2012 at 6:33 pm
Well, that leaves Paul, because Santorum is catholic, too.
17 Asaph // Jan 23, 2012 at 6:37 pm
I believe Obama is going to lose regardless of who takes him on. Too many people are now totally dissatisfied and/or totally disgusted with him. He cannot do anything to cement anything positive to his abysmal record. He’s not going to get re-elected because he took out OBL. Any of the four remaining Repubs will beat him come Nov. But, that doesn’t mean America is any better off.

Remember, folks – we had it all for six years under GWB (WH, Congress) – and for some strange reason, none of those Conservative domestic objectives were achieved – the WOT became the War on us all here in America.
No one will be anointed Emperor of America without the total blessing of the POWER RANGERS – The only one not acceptable to the PRs is Ron PauI, and that’s why I will be voting for him the end of February here in Michigan.
The CNN smackdown of King was a total setup that both King and Gingrich knew was coming …staged street theatre for us peasants. I learned all I needed to know in “Breach of Trust” by Sen.Tom Coburn what a two-faced lying sell-out Gingrich was/is/will always be (conversion to Catholicism means nothing in terms of born-again, repentant, Faith Alone-Grace Alone-Jesus Alone). He did it for Calista, who coveted another woman’s man — now there’s a winning team for America.

Ron Paul has already made a difference. In my view, the Tea Party is one gear short of hitting the power band.
The Tea Party is in a position to seize Labor issues from the Left. Most workers in America are non-union, God fearing, and patriotic. They don’t like being told that Mittens making billions for shipping their jobs to Communist China is a result of their own failings. This isn’t rocket science, but the GOP doesn’t get it. The Tea Party, on the other hand, is closer to the ground. Over the long term, they could force a major re-alignment in the electorate.
It’s Conservatism 101: Most people want to work, and most people are not that concerned with getting rich. I think the Tea Party gets that, but they seldom talk about it. Or if they do, the message is not getting out.
22 David Yeagley // Jan 24, 2012 at 8:03 am
The Tea Party seems silent, since their debut. It isn’t an organized political party, remember. Whoever they are, they can be effective. However, they abandoned Michele Bachmann, their only representative in Congress. I fear they have become totally ineffective…
23 whitetrash // Jan 24, 2012 at 8:31 am
I hope you are wrong about that. The strength of the Tea Party has been the well defined scope of their intellectual position. It takes time to do that in a populist movement. Then the trick is to translate that into action that makes a difference to the people you intend to represent.
The GOP and Dems are averting a reaction by American workers to the predatory form of Capitalism as practiced by Globalists. In theory, the Tea Party could lead, refine, and focus that reaction without compromising their intellectual underpinnings one iota. The opportunity is still there.
