Can We Save America?

by David Yeagley · December 30, 2011 · 16 Comments ·

Is there any hope for America? As we approach the new year, 2012, do we have any reason to expect anything different or better in the future? Is there any evidence that anything will change in Washington?

No, no, and no. Only the most naïve and blind person would think that America will recover. Politicians and conservative radio talkers may campaign and entertain with the idea of restoration; optimism is wondrously marketable–especially in times of horrible social depression; there may be a great temptation to hope, and even a moral obligation to make efforts towards rejuvenation. Yet, the basic steps required to restore America will never be taken. Human nature abuses everything America has ever stood for. We deny ourselves the remedy. Recovery is disallowed.

I would suggest a few steps, for the record, nevertheless. And these suggestions will never be more than fleeting notions of reality. What our society needs is immediate consequences for wrong doing, not enabling, not encouragement, not reward. Just consequence. How likely is that? So, call these suggestions something like the last nail in the coffin of dead hope.

Voting rights must be limited to qualified people.

The secret of Communism’s success in this country is the voting populace. The right to vote, in the name of “democracy” or “equality,” is actually a delusion, and secures the very lowest, more inefficient, self-destructive policies for the country. Mass voting destroys the character of the candidates, and, in order to secure the most votes, the politician promises the most material prosperity to the most people. The United States government has been growing like a cancer since the Civil War, and more and more people have become dependent on the government.

Therefore, the solution is to disallow most people from voting. Most people are uninformed, misinformed, selfish, and unfit even to be citizens, let alone voting citizens–with a say in any government whatsoever. There must be rigid qualification for voting.

The Right to Reproduction must be Limited

This isn’t about abortion. This is about sterilization. Sterilization is logical and rational in the matter of population control. Abortion is not socially rational. Mass sterilization is. A person who brings another human being into this world knowing that he cannot provide for it, knowing that the government will pay for it, is a criminal, and should lose all his freedom, and certainly his right to vote. No such offspring should ever be allowed to vote, either–unless he proves himself a very different kind of person.

Nothing is more useless and demoralizing that dependents who believe it is their right to be dependent, dependents who aggrandize their welfare expectations to the level of desert and honor. Dependents have bankrupted our society, and should be punished by a natural corrective process.

America must have right to war.

A nation cannot survive without the ability to declare war on other nations, and to destroy the government of another nation. The United States government has robbed America of not only the dignity and honor of victory, but the necessity of self-defense. America is wholly incapable of any significant aggression or defense at this time. There are Third World countries anxious to break America’s power, and the opportunity for them to do so increases daily. There appears no victory on the horizon for America’s forces anywhere, not even on our own borders. America is no longer allowed to know what victory is.

America must control citizenship.

The privileges of citizenship are not natural, not inevitable, and not rights. The each must be earned, over time, with due effort. The idea that anyone can simply cross the national border and be a citizen is completely irrational. Only politicians advocate such an idea–for obvious reasons. They see more voters. The social immaturity generated by the American political system must end.

In her last article, Ann Coulter notes that illegal immigration and Obamacare, if not remedied in the next couple of years, will essentially end the America we know (and which most of us have loved). “America will begin its ineluctable descent into becoming a worthless Western European country, with rotten health care, no money for defense and ever-increasing federal taxes to support the nanny state,” Coulter prophecies.

Politicians will certainly not remedy either illegal immigration or Obamacare. It isn’t going to happen. The current is to strong, for too long, in the wrong direction. That’s just the way it is.

Rush Limbaugh used to say, “It’s over!” back when the Clintons were in office. It was. It’s been over, since the Civil War. The federal government became something it was never supposed to be. The overthrow of America, by its own immature people and selfish politicians, was inevitable.

Conservative commentary is just part of the entertainment business. Patriotism is passé. Love of country is a Romantic notion of the 19th century. The country has simply changed, already, into something the fathers would disown. America is a dream of the past. The future will not see her again. Historical circumstance is inimitable, and ignorance has prevailed–ignorance generated by selfish, irreligious hedonists.

Don’t want to be trite and wish you a Happy New Year, Dr. Y – doesn’t sound like you are in the mood for that. Here I am sitting here with my 91 year old Mom, and we are both pissed off as you are. She has experienced the Depression, WW2, immigration from Canada to the US to marry my Dad, who would be having a coronary over all this if he were still alive. In his latter years, he questioned why he fought in WW2 for it all to come to this. I think Ron Paul has mentioned that as well and been castigated for it.

Your thoughts beg some questions in no particular order: Do you think America will be partitioned once it is officially declared bankrupt? What do you think the parasite grasshoppers will do once the well runs dry? Do you think there will be a shootin’ civil war? Do you think there actually will be an election next November? Does it even matter any more because the dye is cast?

It is sad to see the demise of the USA. The problem as I see it is that the populace has turned its back on God, thus giving us the society we have today. We have become an ungodly, immoral people. I refuse to sing God Bless America because we do not deserve his blessings. We need to bless him by obeying him. He said “if you love me you will obey me”.

I believe we are already under his judgement. He may have already taken his protective hand off of this country. The way the sodomite agenda is being promoted and shoved in the peoples faces is absolutely disgusting. As far as politics goes we have the politicians we deserve. We the people let this happen and this may be the saddest part of it all. Happy new year Dr. Yeagley and God bless you!

An acquaintance of mine once told me that she had her daughter sterilized because she knew she would get pregnant as soon as she physically could (the girl wasn’t “all there in the head” due to a birth injury). I was kind of shocked when I heard this, but then, it was the best thing for her daughter, who would never be a capable mother. That was 40 some years ago. How times have changed.

My idea from a long time ago (before I became a Christian) was to implant every young girl with what I called the “Golden Spicket”- this device kept the egg from entering the uterus. Then, the girl would grow up and when she was ready to marry, she could apply to have the spicket removed. Brilliant way to prevent unwanted babies, but promoted promiscuous behavior.

Brave New World meet Cowardly Old World

BTW – there is no constitutional right to vote in a national election.

I’m not used to not having the America I grew up loving. Something is missing that is so profound, so deep, so that I can’t even feel like the same person I thought I was.

Personally, I’ll approach life with optimism, faith, and hope. But, my country is missing. That’s the long and short of it.

It is almost impossible not to feel the same way. But, for three reasons, I do. One is practical. Money. The other is more tactile. Freedom. The last is spiritual. Bible prophecy. Because of these three things I believe a backlash is coming. Unfortunately the pendulum will swing too hard and ultimately create persecution for those seeing religious freedom a right given of God, and not go along with the popular program, but a backlash is coming.

David, you mention “rights.” We do have certain inalienable rights given by God – Life, Liberty, Pursuit of happiness. Matter of fact, the Declaration states “among these,” meaning there are more inalienable rights God has given man to which he cannot be alien. He has them by divine gift. Life, liberty and pursuit of happiness are just three, which are basic and foundational.

True the vast majority of Americans are uneducated to these facts and principles. Those trying to teach them are up against forces bent on America’s destruction. But as I have believed and stated here and on the forum for a few years now, I believe the backlash is coming. Media will do all in its power to hide it, miscall it, paint it black and “extreme,” which, in essence, it will be. Very extreme.

The end of the entire world is coming. That is the bottom line of Bible prophecy. Christ IS returning. Before that event takes place the world will be thrown into final chaos and deplorable condition. Still, the world will be speaking it has things under control.

To claim “Peace and safety,” to trumpet that, man has to believe he has the tiger by the tail, is in control of the beast. False hope, to be sure. Nonetheless it still has practical application to a dying world. Something is going to change to bring about this illusion of peace and safety, peace and security.

Our nation is not just dying. The world is. Not much we can do but attempt to share with friend and neighbor the truth of what is coming.

All of the conservative voices could not keep Clinton from being elected, twice. They could not change anything with Bush dismantling the Constitutional rights of Americans and helping Wall St. cronies to the tune of financial chaos for the world at large. They could not keep Obama from getting elected, nor will they be able to stop his re-election. As you say, these voices are marketable, they make good livings. But none of them run for office of civil servants themselves. They talk, they entertain, they live well. It is all an illusion.

But, a backlash is coming. What kind of pause it will give to overall world events and direction, who can say? But a backlash is coming.

Like asked of you above, what about civil war? It is possible America may fall into tribalism. It is interesting how Hollywood has portrayed this in numerous movies and television programs in the last decade or more. Do moguls know what is coming?

2012. Talk of Mayan calendars. An American presidential election. Riots. Chaos. Wars, rumors of wars, and all the rest.

Should be interesting, to say the least.

I do wish you a “HAPPY NEW YEAR” and every one that reads this blog. Not because of the state of the Union, like you said, it’s been a mess ever since the the socialists took control during and after the so called Civil War. But, we can never allow ourselves to make our happiness dependent on the government.

Home, family, friends, pets; a good cup of coffee at the local cafe, a wave from another motorcyclist. Highway salutes, and sometimes a good knock down, drag out argument with the guy across the table. Watching a three year old girl run through a store, daddy on her heels trying to catch the giggling nymph. The helping a friend out of a snow bound ditch, laughing at the mailman running from the neighbor’s dog. Sitting on the back porch, fire in the firepit, wine, cheese and crackers to nibble on while you and God discuss the joy the day has given you. This is what makes life worth living.

Governments come and go, none last because they aren’t worthy of more than a moment. Life with its anger, joy and sometimes sadness though is a continuous experience that should be treasured.

I tend to be a little too left-brained in my thinking. I look at all of this in very practical terms. I used to endure those on the Left because I thought they were entitled to their lame opinion. Now I see that they are the ones who have been marching steadily forward to do what they are doing now (destroy freedom and individual liberty) in America. That’s why I believe there will be civil war, a break up of the Union. But, my optimistic side says that will ultimately be a good thing, and out of the ashes something good will be born. I don’t envision a world without people trying to do the Right thing.

  • 8 Asaph // Dec 31, 2011 at 10:43 am

I don’t exactly what kind of rifles they used during the Civil War. Suffice to say that the rifles and cannons of the Civil War are not the weaponry of today. How then would any kind of war be fought against government forces, if those forces were bent on decimating those who desire Constitutional freedom?

I believe civil (uncivil) war could come, but its duration would certainly not be four years. Maybe four months, more than likely four weeks. You might have small groups of people scattered in remote areas, but they certainly would pose no threat to government power.

  • 9 Sioux // Dec 31, 2011 at 11:19 am

Asaph – I agree that it won’t last a long time either. It’ll like be fought on the guerilla level. I don’t see anyone going to Gitmo considering all the FEMA detention centers springing up around the country for “national emergencies.” Make an example of a Few and you will control the Many. We are being deliberately provoked into epic levels of rage, yet people remain controlled. That’s a good thing. Gun sales are at record highs – that’s also a good thing.

I have been thinking a lot about Brave New World and how society split – no discussion of what it took to get the civilized folks separated from those barbarians who wanted their freedom to have their own babies, live their own lives, not matter what. Maybe the Detention centers will become the epicenters for Revolution. They win only if we cooperate. More of Us than Them. But, as I watch the Sheep allowing themselves to be groped and scanned at airports just so they can vacation at Disney, my hope then gets dashed again.

Since we persist in doom and gloom, I’ll toss in another thought. I seriously doubt if there will be a civil war, or even a war of secession. Since we are on the borrowing track, we will just continue to borrow, inflate, deflate, and settle into the mud until people stop saying- remember the good old days, because that is past remembering in a banana republic.
However, a war could bring us out, I don’t think we would like the new country any better than the old one, but at least it would be more stable. War would not be over quick. True, our troops have been training for years on putting down insurgency. Still, we haven’t succeeded in two washed out stone age countries in the almost ten years we’ve been there. Here you have more resources, scrap metal and lots of shops with experienced machinist to turn out any weapon you want. Ex-soldiers to train insurgents in how to fight anti-insurgents. The poorly trained and equipped soldiers of the Confederacy, killed more Union soldiers than the Union killed Confederates in the Civil War, even though they were better equipped with the latest weaponry. Unfortunately, we would destroy every visage of what we were fighting for in order to attain it and therefore, a new way of change has to be found or continue to sink into debt and poverty.

“I don’t exactly what kind of rifles they used during the Civil War. Suffice to say that the rifles and cannons of the Civil War are not the weaponry of today. How then would any kind of war be fought against government forces, if those forces were bent on decimating those who desire Constitutional freedom?” “Asaph.”

Asaph, I know that it seems insurmountable, but the fight for freedom provides an energy that becomes resourceful beyond our access to technology or advanced weaponry. Who would have ever thought that roadside bombs triggered by cell phones or tv remotes would kill and wound our forces in the numbers that they have? Look at the Haji’s in Afghanistan and remember how they beat the Soviets, and now us. A cult favorite movie of mine is “Red Dawn,” about how a group of high school kids fight off a Soviet/Cuban invasion. It is quite thought provoking.

Another aspect that many dismiss is that there are many true patriots in the military. Yes, there are lots of Dykes, Faggots, and liberals in the service nowadays, but there are also some true Lexington and Concord types. I do not believe that the U.S. military (as a whole) would destroy the American people en masse. If anything, Brobama will use the Chicoms or others to do that…perhaps his Islamic People’s Army that he is attempting to put together. I urge you to look at a website from a group called “Oath Keepers.” This group challenges the military and law enforcement to take an “oath” never to use force against the American people. They have quite a following of which I am one. I have no problem stating that I will defend myself, and my Constitution against all enemies…both foreign, and domestic (any government administration that attempts to take away my God-given right to live as a free man who respects law and order).

Brobama is working hard to curtail Second Amendment rights. I urge all to get some good guns and buy lots of ammo (they will not be able to confiscate all the guns, but they will shut down ammo factories). I was really glad to see some high-powered rifles in Wal-mart this week. They had been pulled for a while. But now, I can walk in and buy an M4 .223 Carbine rifle with a 30 round clip. That makes this red-neck awful happy.

Come what may. We patriots will fight. The most honorable way to die is in battle. I would rather die in the heat of battle than by starving in a FEMA camp like a dog.

“Wars may be fought with weapons, but they are won by men. It is the spirit of men who follow and of the man who leads that gains the victory.”

This stuff is getting serious. Get serious about prayer, but keep your hand on your weapon.

  • 14 Asaph // Jan 1, 2012 at 8:26 am

It has been my impression in reading things I have that the U.S military has not been allowed to win wars anymore. Viet Nam to now, it’s all police action, for show, for political powers, for world bankers acquisition of more wealth, etc., etc., but the actual premise of fighting war, completely destroy your enemy and bring him to naught or surrender, is no longer the premise of American warfare.

I agree, that the majority of American military would not yet fire on civilians. On the other hand, I wonder if the military is made up of the same ratios as the American public in general. That means ignorance reigns supreme, and people can be led to think things and act upon them, by sheer use of continual lies and media denunciation.

While I realize the more the media denounced Palin she seemed to increase her popularity, Palin could not be seen to be making a threat to American life. Those who advocate any kind of insurrection would be made to be enemies in every conceivable way. Would the military believe the lies and act in tandem with orders to stop freedom fighters?

Red dawn (I’m only familiar with clips from the movie) is one of the things I referred to in a previous post. Movies like this, and tv programs, are propping up the idea of this kind of national scenario.

In some ways I am certain some kind of backlash is coming. Whether just a voting booth backlash or one of far more physical dimensions I don’t know. But it is obvious as a train wreck Americans are sick of federal, state, and local government power grabs and our loss of simple inalienable rights.

“What our society needs is immediate consequences for wrong doing, not enabling, not encouragement, not reward. Just consequence.”

    Amen.

With the exception of limiting reproduction, I agree with your points and wish these would be implemented.

I would love to see legislation passed that 1) limits the amount of time an individual can stay on welfare programs (unless they are truly disabled–most are not); and 2) legislation that puts a cap on the number of children taxpayers support.

Enough of this “more children = bigger checks” syndrome. Taxpayers might help with the first child for a limited time, but no more. STOP having children you don’t want and aren’t capable of raising.
