Kong, Lebron, Cain and ‘Crap’

by David Yeagley · November 4, 2011 · 63 Comments ·

People Just Ain’t Buyin’ This Crap,” says black commentator Harry Allen. In what is one of the finest black social blogs in the country, Media Assassin, Allen presents us this unique juxtaposition:

On the right we see what is apparently a World War I United States Army recruiting poster. Kaiser Wilhelm, supreme leader of the German forces is presented as a monstrous gorilla, making off with white, bare-breasted and highly distressed Lady Liberty. On the right, we see cognate “mad brute” LeBron James, mighty NBL basketball player, making off with white Gisele Bunchen (wife of NFL quarterback Tom Brady), who seems delighted, (though not yet bare-breasted). Of course, the ironies are innumerable.

Gisele, a white blonde, former top model for the lingerie company, Victoria’s Secret. A comparison of such a person with the mythical symbol of America, Lady Liberty (–or, was that the French ‘Goddess of Reason,’ also bare-breasted during the French Revolution, a part played by Parisian prostitute Mme. Milliard–representing that freedom Frenchmen valued most), is an anathema it itself, we would hope.

Now, what Mr. Allen doesn’t tell us is who discovered the recruitment poster, and why he decided to juxtapose it with the Vogue cover. Of course, there is the question of Vogue’s racially charged extravaganza. But in any case, the idea that white women are dying to be held captive by the Negro male is what Allen says is bunk. His blog is astute, but for one critical ‘racial’ oversight: it isn’t the fact that the April issue of Vogue didn’t sell because people don’t think the white female isn’t enraptured by the Negro male. It is precisely because she is, (or, at least highly disturbed and frightened by the Negro male), and because this fact is regarded as embarrassing or shameful to the white race. Naturally, we wouldn’t expect Allen to acknowledge such a fact. He’s black. He’s a chauvinistic defender of blackness. The black race couldn’t possibly be a problem to any other race.

Fine. But, he is obviously and naturally mistaken.

His links indicate that the photographer of the Vogue cover is Annie Leibovitz, (a nice Jewish girl from Connecticut). Of course, she isn’t the designer or editor of the magazine, but this mention of her gives us opportunity to clarify something about the Jewish-Negro relations in America. There is a white stereotype of the Jew which Howard Cosell named as “nigger-lovin’ Jew.” This stereotype says that the Jew is behind all the miscegenation efforts in America, and, of course, the stereotype includes the Nazi notion of the same. (Of course, BadEagle.com has already demonstrated how utterly wrong Hitler was in Mein Kampf where he claims the Jew brought the Negro into the Rhineland.) There are two important observations to make on this Jewish point: 1) there are Negroes who blame the Jews for ‘using’ the Negro, like Louis Farrakhan, Cassius Clay, and probably Harry Allen, but none will admit that whatever success individual Jews have shared with individual black people was done so with full knowledge of and agreement with those black people; 2) in the bigger picture, Jews have tried to uplift black people from the miseries of poverty and obscurity, sharing as much worldly success as possible for black persons to manage. This is a matter of interpretation, in the last analysis. That the Jews’ reaching out to a helpless minority should be regarded as an attempt to destroy their host society is a bit of a stretch, is it not?

Photographer Annie Liebowitz

But now, back to Herman Cain, and his accusers. The very first element in this sexual harassment story should have been the racial or ethnic identity of the women accusing him. That, of course, has never been mentioned–for the reporters’ fear of exciting racism and fear of being sued. After all, if the accusers are white women, it would cause a riot, and prove Harry Allen so very wrong, actually. Never mind the white woman’s disposition toward the Negro; the black male obviously is overwhelmingly, compulsively attracted to the white female. (Just ask Eldridge Cleaver.) This is the public image created by the behavior of the black social risers, anyway. Equality means having a white female. That’s the ultimate measure of success. Ask Tiger Woods.

Famous sports announcer, Howard Cosell.

The second thing that should have happened in the Cain story is that the National Restaurant Association (NRA) should have revealed all the information about the accusations and the settlements. Cain should have demanded it. Instead, he’s been fumbling around for nearly a week now, just trying to get beyond the embarrassment. His handling of the matter has been terribly weak, and demonstrates that he is in no way qualified to be president of the American nation. Let him run for office in an African nation. There, he might really help.

People are buying the ‘crap,’ Mr. Allen. Race is important to people. If you think not, or advocate not, then you betray your own obvious fascination with the white female–as indicated in every other blog you offer. You can’t fool anyone.

The matter is Freudian. Perhaps BadEagle.com shall offer some simple psychological principles about sex, from the Freudian theory, and this matter will be laid to rest. In the mean time, racial-sexual exploration continues preoccupies many people. In America, it is associated with the ideology of equality. Thus, even conservative abstractions serve to fuel the fire further. Honesty in this matter seems impossible, but, we shall continue the effort. Success could be a simple matter of careful communication.

I could well be mistaken, as this is a matter of memory. :) I seem to recall that this same photographer, Annie Liebowitz, got into a controversy over her “suggestive” picture of a young (15 year old?) Miley Cyrus.

  • 2 Thrasymachus // Nov 4, 2011 at 2:56 pm

    Here it is –

Annie Leibovitz: ‘Miley Cyrus Photos Were Misinterpreted’

My point here is that Leibovitz is no stranger to controversy.

  • 3 Thrasymachus // Nov 4, 2011 at 3:02 pm

Right now, it is the “hip” thing for white male adolescent media stars to love the black adult woman. For example, singer Justin Bieber claimed in an interview recently that he’s had a crush on Beyonce since he was at the tender age of seven — and still has it. And a decade or so ago, David Gallagher, then 15-year-old star of 7th Heaven said that he greatly desired Tyra Banks.

The point I wish to make here is that our media powers do believe that the “solution” to America’s race problem is miscegenation. “If we can thoroughly mix the races sexually, then we shall overcome.” Or so they believe. This is what our liberal elites want.

Come to think of it, that might be the French “Goddess of Liberty”. After all, this is a Vogue Magazine cover!

Here is a picture of America’s Lady Liberty from that era:

We’re witnessing a kind of belief in “karma.” Many Whites believe that if a small sector of wealthy Whites once had slaves, and produced more slaves by mating with black females, that now black men have open season on the white woman.

  • 6 Thrasymachus // Nov 4, 2011 at 3:32 pm

This following news clip should be sufficient to demonstrate to any thinking person how the liberal media powers do in fact encourage cultural confusion and “change.” (N.B. The experts with the “authoritative knowledge” here are black men.)

Little Boy Wants To Be A Girl Scout & Now His Mother Is Fighting To Get Him Dressed As A Girl!

  • 7 Thrasymachus // Nov 4, 2011 at 3:35 pm

I put up post #5 because it is my belief that loss of racial identity is a stepping-stone to loss of other kinds of personal identity. Dr. King was a supporter of the “gay agenda.” This can be demonstrated by his association with an openly “gay” black man who went on to advocate for the “gay” cause.

  • 8 Thrasymachus // Nov 4, 2011 at 3:43 pm

Bayard Rustin was a friend and associate of Dr. King.

    Rustin said the following:

“Today, blacks are no longer the litmus paper or the barometer of social change. Blacks are in every segment of society and there are laws that help to protect them from racial discrimination. The new “niggers” are gays. . . . It is in this sense that gay people are the new barometer for social change. . . . The question of social change should be framed with the most vulnerable group in mind: gay people.”

This is the point I was alluding to in posts #6 and #7.

Herman Cain accuser stands by 1999 harassment claims, won’t reveal details; NRA confirms complaint.
    By Rachel Rose Hartman
    November 4, 2011

Joel Bennett, the woman’s attorney, said:

“We’re not going to get more specific about what was physical, what was verbal. It qualified as sexual harassment in our opinion.”

“the fact that there are multiple complaints tells me more likely than not that there was some sexual harassment activity by this man at that time . . . . The fact that there was more than one complaint is meaningful.”

  • 10 Asaph // Nov 4, 2011 at 4:02 pm

Limbaugh mentioned the NRA HAS offered docs and they have been refused so far. Limbaugh also made a direct denial of supporting Cain. Rather, he is showing his contempt for the MSM and their way of doing things, especially Politico. He also stated the way Cain is handling this is the way CAIN wants to handle it, not how anyone else, including the media or Republican establishment think he should be handling it, which is obviously the case if you listen to Rove and Co.

Thus far there is no definitive charge against Cain. As a conservative I’m surprised you are allowing the MSM to influence your position here. Although, it is obvious you don’t want Cain, or any other black man to be POTUS.

Cain is doing just fine thus far. If it turns out he was a womanizer at one time things might change for him, but obviously his poll numbers remain high, his finances are getting better, and he’s staying where he wants to.

    Just sayin.’

  • 11 Thrasymachus // Nov 4, 2011 at 4:15 pm

OF COURSE Cain should not be the Republican nominee! 90% of the votes the Republican Party receives in a presidential election come from White America. It is not representative of the Republican vote to give the nomination to a Black.

  • 12 Thrasymachus // Nov 4, 2011 at 4:31 pm

Once the national leadership of the U.S. is thoroughly in black hands, there it will likely remain. The presidency will not bounce merrily back and forth between Whites and Blacks. The question will next arise whether a Black or a Hispanic shall occupy the Oval Office. Whites will substantially be non-contenders at some point — unless I am much mistaken.

  • 13 David Yeagley // Nov 4, 2011 at 5:18 pm

Asaph, what do you mean no definitive charge? Printed for the public to read? There was obviously a very definitive charge, it was handled in-house (NRA), and financial settlements were made. This is not fantasy. It happened.

They are under legal obligation to keep the details of the case silent, because that was part of the settlement.

The fact that it happened I don’t think is to be secret. I’d have to see the agreement terms on that. Cain can file a libel/slander suit, if he desires, but, as you say, so far, it as all been gain to him. Also, he is a public figure. Laws are different for a public figure than for a private person. The woman might actually file a suit against him, for lying about her. He says nothing ever happened, tantamount to saying she is a complete liar. She is a private person. However, if no one knows who she is (save the NRA people present at the time), she would have trouble claiming damages.

Legal suits are all about damages. That’s what makes them valid or invalid, and attractive to attorneys, or not.

  • 14 David Yeagley // Nov 4, 2011 at 5:18 pm

Very good points, Thras. Cause for fear and trembling, I think.

  • 15 David Yeagley // Nov 4, 2011 at 5:20 pm

I don’t mean to sound like I’m particularly attacking Cain. I’m not. I think is it essentially true, that the harassment happened; I think he has handled it ignobly. I don’t consider the money he is raking in to be an indication of his character, but the public’s lack thereof.

  • 16 Kris // Nov 4, 2011 at 9:13 pm

In regard to Herman Cain: call me naive’, David, but there is no evidence, no documentation, no proof except sixty or more articles based on a boatload of hear-say, originally claimed by Politico, offshoot of the Washington Post. The NRA (National Restaurant Association) has already agreed to get the required releases and this individual woman’s attorney, even today still didn’t reveal anything of consequence; he apparently will continue to lead everyone on, because that is exactly how I view it; thinking and believing this tactic will work to destroy Herman Cain’s reputation, his life, his entire campaign. And that’s the only reason Politico is doing this since last Sunday.
And why pray tell, is Cain still leading in the polls despite all of this? I am again reminded of the Duke LaCrosse episode, that became a fiasco with the collaboration of a lying black woman, a Democrat district attorney and a media that played it for everything it was worth, tainting the entire court case. It was total black eye (pardon the pun) that was created by all three of these entities into something that was designed to destroy those young men’s lives and any future life they may have had based on a false premise and perpetrated by each because it fit their own liberal narrative; they wanted to find these young white men, guilty of something because after all, they’re white and they’re guilty. One follows as night does day. A natural conclusion for liberals. In the liberal world, all white men (and women) are guilty even if they’re not. What they were intent upon was a guilty conviction and a prison term. It turned out, however, these young men were innocent of all charges but their lives were almost destroyed thanks to the treatment they received at the hands of a media following their liberal template and narrative.

I tend not to believe a media that does this sort of thing consistently for no reason other than attacking a black conservative that isn’t part of the Democrat plantation; and they’re incensed by a anyone who makes it without them and liberalism?. David, Mr. Cain has already said the restaurant association took care of it and after an intensive investigation, determined the accusation was baseless . And you know anything goes when it comes to sexual harassment in today’s politically correct and multiculturally diverse universe. Mr. Cain could have lifted his eyebrow the wrong way and a woman would claim she was made to feel discomfort and scream sexual harassment. Don’t doubt that for even a minute. And I would believe Herman Cain before I would ever place my faith in a media that has their own oh so obvious biases for everyone to see that it’s become an embarrassment to hear them proclaim it from the rooftops. Most of us should know at least that much about our media.

I spent close to twenty-two years in the United States military within the Intelligence community, most of it in the Navy and believe me, there were many instances where I could have made those charges, had it occurred today, but didn’t. I just ran faster than the men chasing me and I didn’t get offended by any of it. I kept running. In today’s cultural climate, it would never happen. It certainly was a different time then. The only reason this continues as it has for Clarence Thomas for over twenty years and now for Herman Cain is because these black men are proclaimed conservatives and their success is due to their own initiative and not because they were helped by Democrats and liberal philosophy. We know this or at least should. And that’s reason enough for the media to loathe, despise and detest them or any black that is independent of them; it is a virulent form of racism based on lowered expectations. We have a president today who got through the educational system on the basis of that premise. Today’s liberals practice this consistently. Herman Cain succeeded without affirmative action and it’s as simple as that.

Sometimes the simplest explanation is the largest truth of all. And until we hear the details, specific documentation, proof, evidence there is no factual basis to any of this. It’s pure speculation and nothing but.

  • 17 Pamela K. // Nov 4, 2011 at 11:25 pm

This is a little off subject, but I think it’s time someone defended the real victim here, the gorilla. I feel that picture on the left is very insensitive and demeaning to the species known as primates.

Gorillas, as well as monkeys, are often used to caricature certain ignorant and arrogant homo sapiens, or human beings.

It is time to stop the comparisons between these two different species of living creatures.

Gorillas are both highly intelligent and very noble creatures. For instance, does anyone remember the story of Jambo, the Gentle Giant?

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W-CMxMv34_A

Gorillas are often surprisingly friendly too…

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&v=Dd3n-lAcUBE

    even to gawking humans…

    And not so friendly….

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U49ef6MOFSQ&feature=fvwrel

… to gawking humans who probably get on their nerves…

Yet, they are loving and tender parents to their babies…

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&v=J1_meLUpVgg

Some scientists believe gorillas are 96% human. I do not agree with this theory. However, I do believe that gorillas have the mental capability to learn in a way that is similar to how people learn, especially with memorization skills.
Gorillas also seem to have a lot more common sense than many so-called, “superior” homo sapiens!

  • 18 Asaph // Nov 5, 2011 at 7:42 am

Very good points, Kris. Cause for fear and trembling, I think.

I once read the mountain gorilla is the strongest animal on the planet, pound for pound. And it’s a plant-based eating animal. Go veggies!

Thras, I know you aren’t a racist, but it sure sounds like racism to me. If people of skin color other than Caucasian cannot run for civil service positions in government, right up to the POTUS, the Declaration and Constitution are meaningless.

  • 19 Asaph // Nov 5, 2011 at 7:45 am

Hey Professor Yeagley, what if Cain became president and asked you to be the head of American Indian relations? Would you take the job in his administration?

  • 20 Thrasymachus // Nov 5, 2011 at 5:08 pm

“Racism” was a term invented by the Communists (specifically Leon Trotsky) for political purposes. It was meant to demoralize and to silence debate.

What I am is a racially conscious white person. As such, I believe that no ethnic or religious group should grant political power over itself to some foreign ethnic or religious group. Not a safe thing to do.

You will never see a white mayor of Detroit again — though when Detroit was a white city, the mayors were white.

    The average Asian I.Q. is about 102 – 103.
The average White I.Q. is about 100.
The average Black I.Q. (in the States, where blood is mixed) is 85.
The average Black I.Q. in Africa is 70.

When Blacks and Whites compete for the same positions in politics, this IS a struggle for racial dominance. This is something Thomas Jefferson warned us about. As Whites become just another minority, the struggle for power may well shift to the Mexican conquerors and the Blacks (Hint: Mexicans and Blacks do not get along.)

In the U.S. Constitution, Blacks were, for representation purposes, only counted as 3/4 of a human person. They were not free to vote, nor to marry white persons.

Moreover, the “All men are created equal” statement in the Declaration was simply Enlightenment rhetoric, very popular at the time among revolutionaries. The American Colonists were tired of monarchy and wanted a new form of government — self-rule. Hence the rhetoric.

Whites who trust Blacks to lead the country no doubt have the very best intentions. But in which black-run nation would they wish to live? Where in this world has black leadership proven successful and desirable? The new South Africa? Zimbabwe? Blacks basically do not know who to run free and democratic nations. History proves this.

  • 21 Thrasymachus // Nov 5, 2011 at 5:15 pm

By the way, I did not state that Blacks could not legally run for any office. If this is what the white population desires — well then, let them have their fill! I said that Whites SHOULD not give the reigns of power over to Blacks, as this is not in the ethnic interests of Whites — and it really is not good for Blacks either.

ayWhite Identity: Racial Consciousness in the 21st Century, by Jared Taylor

Should I be allowed to govern an American Indian nation? No! That would be a mockery of self-government for that nation!

Should an Israeli Muslim be allowed to become Prime Minister of Israel? (Well, if the Jews vote for him, I suppose he should. But would they ever even get the campaign off the ground?)

  • 22 David Yeagley // Nov 5, 2011 at 7:52 pm

Kris: by your logic, no one can believe anything he did not witness with his own two eyes. That, seems to me, is unreasonable. We have to take the word of others, quite frequently in fact. Constantly. We take someone else’s word for our own birth–which we ourselves did not witness.

Cain is (barely) leading in some polls because the people that happened to be polled happened to be thinking like you’re thinking, maybe. Or else their determined to triumph of their own inner accusation of racism–the most hideous evil of our age. One simply must not be a racist. One must vote for a black man (if one is running) regardless of any other possible consideration. (Not saying you think that way, but, I know people that do.)

The comparison to the Duke boys is inappropriate. They were not running for office. I doubt the attorney took any particular pleasure in trying to “destroy” them. He was just trying to make a cheap, fast name for himself. The the black girl was sick, psychologically. I don’t see any circumstance that is comparable with the Cain case.

What are you certain that Cain succeeded without any “affirmative” action? What are basing that idea on?

What kind of evidence do you want for the sexual harassment charges? Video tape? All we will have, at best, is witnesses. Other wise, it is his word against her’s (theirs). Perhaps there is more evidence. I don’t know.

Now, the law of parsimony (simplest explanation) would be that it happened. Or, I should say, that several women say that it happened to them. No, that’s not proof that it did. But, the attorney for one testified in the media that there were complaints filed and settlements paid. That much is apparently fact. That much happened.

Does a filed complaint and settlement not mean anything?

I certainly don’t automatically believe Cain, nor do I automatically believe the women. I do believe that they filed charges, and that settlements were paid out. Do you believe that much?

  • 23 Thrasymachus // Nov 5, 2011 at 7:54 pm

A compelling book on why it is dangerous for White America to surrender the national leadership and hand the country over to black rule is Into the Cannibal’s Pot: Lessons for America from Post-Apartheid South Africa by Ilana Mercer. Black rule may well be a disaster for American Black themselves.

  • 24 David Yeagley // Nov 5, 2011 at 7:54 pm

Asaph, I’m sure I don’t qualify for any such position! I do know that most blacks consider themselves far above Indians, and in this, they emulate whites. I would never expect a black to have any interest in Indians. Obama certainly hasn’t. The black’s first interest is always blacks.
And that’s the way it should be. And that’s the way whites should feel about whites. And that’s why, in a white nation, a minority should never try to lead.

    Just opinions.

I expect the leadership of China to be true native ethnic Chinese; that of Japan to be authentic Japanese, and that of the Comanche to be true Comanche. I also expect Israel to be a Jewish state, governed by Jews and not Israeli Arabs.

Why do you say that white people consider themselves far above the Indians? As a white person, I find that comment not only untrue,
    but hurtful too.
White people are no longer the majority. We have become the minority in America today. And we are the last people on the list as far as having protected civil rights or protected anything else for that matter!
2008 and election of Barack Obama signaled that it was open season for all the non-white minorities to exact their long-awaited revenge against old whitey.
Our country is more socially and racially divided than ever before, but then again, that’s probably our fault too!
I suppose if Obama could issue a dhimmi tax, just so all of us demonized white folks could breath the same air as the self- exalted non-whites like himself, he would do it in a heartbeat!

All POTUS have been white. Obama is half white. Tell us what skin color has done for America. Whites have brought America to the brink of disaster. To say that white people should only vote for white people in a land made up of variation, by their own choosing, is ignorance on parade, and one does not need a communist to define “racism” and “bigotry.”

The only colors Americans should care about in elected civil service is Red, White, and Blue, and parchment beige.

The charges against Cain cannot even be defined as distinctly “sexual.” How can you have sexual harassment charges without sexuality involved? These women were made to feel “uncomfortable.” That is grounds for dismissal of Herman Cain as a candidate for POTUS? That’s it? That is the smoke for a fire ignited by diehard liberals? That is the “evidence” Cain should be thrown aside? Better to toss him aside for being a proponent of the Federal Reserve banking system than tall tales shoved at us by those who hate Americanism and free markets.

If blacks don’t like Indians, may I assume Indians don’t like blacks? And how does that color commentary on Bad Eagle?

There are more generalizations in these comments than Hershey has chocolate bars.

No wonder America is a mess. There isn’t enough true principle or common sense here to fill a Dixie cup.

For those who want to send all non-Caucasians back to their original locations good luck with that one. For those who see skin color as defining human character, shame on you. Especially if you are a professed Christian.

This place has gotten way too off the wall.

  • 29 David Yeagley // Nov 6, 2011 at 9:58 am

I agree with Thras. Would you expect to see a Mongolian as Prime Minister of Israel? A Hindu as Chairman of the Cheyenne? A Kenyan as president of Argentina?

Where’s the “common sense” in this?

Color doesn’t define character, no. Color is a divinely appointed separating element in the human race. I don’t see the wisdom in trying to work against that, let alone to destroy it.

Pam, If whites don’t feel superior, they should. They are. And no hard feelings from me. Just an objective historical observation. I don’t know that it has any bearing on eternity, but, for now. whites rule. Asking how and why is a different matter, perhaps.

  • 30 David Yeagley // Nov 6, 2011 at 10:01 am

    Thras, on Mercer’s book.

I think America will learn no lessons from anyone, because no country is like America, historical or otherwise. Bridget Gabrielle talked about “lessons” from Lebanon for America. Catchy thought, maybe, but, again, non-applicable. Just a sell. These countries need to learn from America, or what was America. They have no contribution to make to America. Lessons? How to fail? What not to do? These countries were never on a par with America, in any sense.

  • 31 Pamela K. // Nov 6, 2011 at 10:19 am

Well David, I must be a rare species of white person because I do not feel superior to anyone. Regardless of race or skin color, we human beings are hopelessly flawed creatures. That’s why God sent Jesus. It is only through Him that we can claim righteousness, or right standing with God. And it is in Him that I find my true identity, through whom I live and breathe and find the true purpose for my existence.
My favorite quote is one that for many years has been erroneously attributed to Ralph Waldo Emerson. It was actually the work of a woman named Bessie Anderson Stanley and written in 1904. Anyway, the work “To Have Succeeded” has become my personal motto for daily living. I keep a framed copy of this quote on the wall of my home and I try to live my life as a reflection of the words:

    “To laugh often and love much;
    to win the respect of intelligent persons and the affection of children;
    to earn the approbation of honest citizens and endure the betrayal of false friends;
    to appreciate beauty;
    to find the best in others;
    to give of one’s self;
to leave the world a bit better,
    whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition;
    to have played and laughed with enthusiasm and sung with exultation;
to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived—this is to have succeeded.”

  • 32 David Yeagley // Nov 6, 2011 at 10:28 am

Ah, yes. “Change my mind,” Emerson said, was the most important effect of a human encounter. But he also said, (in “Self-Reliance,”) “Trust thyself. Every heart vibrates to that iron string.”

Hmmm. The idea of superiority is not threatening to one who is secure in himself, but disturbing to those who are competing for the position.

While I understand your position of non-participation in the game, still, I don’t feel the least disturbed by the game–the facts of history. I can talk about power, morality, etc., without talking about eternity. There is a real world, in the flesh, where power and morality operate. I don’t think it bears on eternal salvation. But, since eternity is where your soul dwells (I mean the concerns thereof), I should not try to draw you away into some other lesser dimension.

I think because what I speak of is a lesser dimension, I don’t feel particularly upset or threatened about the prospects of the game. Know what I mean. We all admire you immensely for your faith, Pam, I’m sure. I know I do.

So how is faith to work in the world? Does it not manifest itself in the world? (There I go again, drawing you out into the game you don’t want to play!)

“So how is faith to work in the world? Does it not manifest itself in the world?” -David Yeagley

Again, I look to Jesus for the example He set when He was here on the earth. He came into the world the same way we all come into the world through a human mother. He lived a rather ordinary life as a carpenter in Nazareth until He began His brief yet extraordinary ministry.
What has always struck me most about the character of Jesus is that He was always humble. The only time He ever lost His temper was with the money changers in the Temple. It kind of gives you a good idea about how He feels about people who have made money and power the sole reasons for their existence.
When Jesus started his public ministry, He did not tour the country in some elaborate caravan. He did not fraternize with the political movers and shakers of His day either. And He certainly did not use His Father’s house as a bully pulpit, demanding that the Jews accept Him as their Messiah.
When He did choose to reveal Himself for the first time, who did he pick for the honor? A lowly Samaritan woman, someone who belonged to a people who were detested by the Jews.
Why did He pick this woman?
First, to reveal to her, one of the ‘other sheep’ who would eventually come to hear and obey His voice, that He was her Messiah too. And secondly, because Jesus, who sees into our hearts, knew this woman was ostracized as an adulteress in her community. He also knew she was trying to fill her lonely heart with the wrong kind of love and attention. Jesus offered her a sure and certain hope, not just in her present life, but for eternity.

“I don’t know that it has any bearing on eternity, but, for now. whites rule. Asking how and why is a different matter, perhaps.” — David Yeagley

According to one controversial Jewish Christian evangelist, the explanation is in the promise made to Japheth, the father of the Caucasian peoples. According to this understanding, the earthly managerial responsibility for the Christian Faith — the Church politic (if that is the right term?) — was promised to the European nations.

All nations are invited equally to participate in Christian salvation; salvation is offered to all. It is just the managerial position that has been entrusted to Whites. Hence God has blessed Whites in this trust — but also arises the responsibility. The world is in trouble — including the racial tensions — because Whites (in their leadership) have abdicated this responsibility of holding up the blood-stained banner of Christ.

My opinion is that we are witnessing that form of Christian religion described in 2 Timothy 3:5. The white nations have lost faith in the power of the Gospel. In this way, racial equality and multiculturalism have come to replace Christianity. Liberalism has been described by someone (I know not who) as “Christianity without Christ.”

  • 35 Thrasymachus // Nov 6, 2011 at 12:59 pm

“Paul does not paint the future with rose-colored glasses—he is no smooth-tongued Prophet of a golden age into
which this dull earth may be imagined to be glowing. There are sanguine Brothers and Sisters who are looking forward
to everything growing better and better and better, until, at last, this present age ripens into a millennium. They will not
be able to sustain their hopes, for Scripture gives them no solid basis to rest upon. We who believe that there will be no
millennial reign without the King and who expect no rule of righteousness except from the appearing of the righteous
    Lord, are nearer the mark.

Apart from the second Advent of our Lord, the world is more likely to sink into a pandemonium than to rise into a millennium. ” C.H. Spurgeon

For this to happen, the Churches will fall away from the Faith. My personal opinion is that the deception involved is of such a nature as will make the professing Churches indistinguishable from the World. Multicultural society is the vehicle, or result, or expression of this prophecy. Embracing socialism and worshiping Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. are signs of this apostasy. And the majority of “Christian” churches are now doing just this.

    Just my opinions.

  • 36 Thrasymachus // Nov 6, 2011 at 1:09 pm

You see, from my point of view, Christians are NOT to engage in politics in the name of Christ. His Kingdom is NOT of this present Age.

The desire to impose Christian morality on the world via government power is sin. This is a huge part of the deception which has led the modern Churches into politics. It is a reaction to the Civil Rights Movement.

  • 37 Thrasymachus // Nov 6, 2011 at 2:00 pm

“This is a huge part of the deception which has led the modern Churches into politics.”

What I meant to say was “. . . led the modern Churches into political activism.”

Nope! This has been the source of trouble all along, from the Wars of Religion to the Moral Majority movement. From the worldly power aspirations of the Roman Catholic Church to the Protestant Calvinist dictatorship in Geneva, Switzerland.

Thomas Jefferson was RIGHT. Separation of Church and State IS biblical.

Christians ARE to practice their own morals. They are not, however, to impose them on unbelievers, using the sword.

Dr. Falwell’s “Moral Majority” movement failed precisely because it was not the Will of God. Moreover, Dr. King’s movement was not the Will of God either.

This entanglement of religion and politics is both un-American and unscriptural. It is a major factor in why the United States has declined.

Christians are to be the Light of the World (Matt. 5:14). They are not to become entrenched in political power struggles, seeking to come to power “as Christians.” That is to say, they are not given the authority of Christ to govern unbelievers in the name of Christ.

One Nation Under God, Or, The Influence Of Christianity In America’s Government

    http://www.wallbuilders.com/libissuesarticles.asp?id=99351

  • 39 Thrasymachus // Nov 6, 2011 at 3:09 pm

It is excellent for Christianity to be the major cultural INFLUENCE in American society. What Jefferson meant by separation of church and state was that the new nation was not to be a theocracy, as had been the case in Europe. There was to be NO state-authorized religion.

“Thomas Jefferson was a man of deep religious conviction — his conviction was that religion was a very personal matter, one which the government had no business getting involved in. He was vilified by his political opponents for his role in the passage of the 1786 Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom and for his criticism of such biblical events as the Great Flood and the theological age of the Earth. As president, he discontinued the practice started by his predecessors George Washington and John Adams of proclaiming days of fasting and thanksgiving. He was a staunch believer in the separation of church and state.”

    Jefferson’s Wall of Separation Letter

Religious freedom means that we are to have no state religion.

Jerry Falwell failed miserably in his goals for political and cultural power. The Left fought back all the harder and the country as a whole has moved culturally to the Left — as witnessed by the election of the current President.

When the Church becomes deeply involved in worldly affairs, seeking power, it inevitably becomes corrupt. Power corrupts mortal men.

Christians should vote for those things their consciences tell them are the right things. My point here is that they are not to seek to “bring in the Kingdom” by espousing a political agenda to that end.

  • 40 Thrasymachus // Nov 6, 2011 at 3:13 pm

On the other hand, I advocate that Christians tirelessly defend their right to practice their religion and their morality. This should be accomplished by LIMITING governmental power, not expanding it!

  • 41 Thrasymachus // Nov 6, 2011 at 3:18 pm

    This is what Jefferson wrote:

    Mr. President

To messers Nehemiah Dodge, Ephraim Robbins, & Stephen S. Nelson, a committee of the Danbury Baptist association in the state of Connecticut.

    Gentlemen

The affectionate sentiments of esteem and approbation which you are so good as to express towards me, on behalf of the Danbury Baptist association, give me the highest satisfaction. my duties dictate a faithful and zealous pursuit of the interests of my constituents, & in proportion as they are persuaded of my fidelity to those duties, the discharge of them becomes more and more pleasing.

Believing with you that religion is a matter which lies solely between Man & his God, that he owes account to none other for his faith or his worship, that the legitimate powers of government reach actions only, & not opinions, I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should “make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof,” thus building a wall of separation between Church & State. [Congress thus inhibited from acts respecting religion, and the Executive authorised only to execute their acts, I have refrained from prescribing even those occasional performances of devotion, practiced indeed by the Executive of another nation as the legal head of its church, but subject here, as religious exercises only to the voluntary regulations and discipline of each respective sect.] Adhering to this expression of the supreme will of the nation in behalf of the rights of conscience, I shall see with sincere satisfaction the progress of those sentiments which tend to restore to man all his natural rights, convinced he has no natural right in opposition to his social duties.

I reciprocate your kind prayers for the protection & blessing of the common father and creator of man, and tender you for yourselves & your religious association assurances of my high respect & esteem.

    (signed) Thomas Jefferson
    Jan.1.1802. “

A society cannot hold together without a strong element of TRUST. We must trust people to do the right thing.

    To illustrate:

I once had the experience of ordering a book from an independent book-seller in Europe. The gentleman mailed me the book BEFORE I sent him payment — on TRUST. Of course, I did send the payment.

Again: Society falls apart when there is not sufficient TRUST.

In Japan, a woman can leave her hand-bag, with much money in it, lying on a restaurant table. It will be unmolested, awaiting her return. This is because, in Japan, there is a strong system of honor. Instilling a sense of HONOR is what is needed as the remedy to our moral issues.

The video I linked to (post #43) contains interviews from people from a wide variety of backgrounds. It was an unfinished work, as its producer died before its completion.

So I am NOT saying that I personally endorse every statement and point of view expressed therein.

What interests me is the statement of the Catholic scholar, at the opening, to the effect that the Founders’ descendants had ALREADY lost faith in themselves before the turn of the 20th Century.

I have absolutely no idea as to why this happened. This is a real mystery to me.

  • 45 Pamela K. // Nov 6, 2011 at 4:18 pm

Our founders were unanimous that there be no state religion here, or National Church like in England. However, because America was founded on the principles of the Holy Bible, people with different religious beliefs other than Christianity have come here and been able to worship without fear of being persecuted or imprisoned for their faith.
There is no other nation on the face of the earth as tolerant about religion as America. Christianity has been the glue that has held our nation together for the past 235 years. But for the past fifty years, liberals have worked diligently to remove any and all influence and/or association of Jesus Christ within our society.
We are now witnessing the fruits of their labor.

  • 46 David Yeagley // Nov 6, 2011 at 4:33 pm

So, the enemies of truth can use the law to wipe out public expression of Christianity, but, Christians daren’t use the law to defend their right of public expression.

Sounds consistent with liberalism to me. They can. You can’t. Yes we can, No you can’t.

  • 47 David Yeagley // Nov 6, 2011 at 4:36 pm

Actually, to be historically accurate, at least in my personal experience of things, the Jehovah’s Witnesses started all these “religion” problems–in the ’60′s. They wouldn’t salute the flag in school. Then they didn’t like Christmas, etc. The JWs were at it before the ACLU and the Jews.

If these JWs would have behaved like mature adults, like good sports, like true Americans, none of this would have developed.

  • 48 Thrasymachus // Nov 6, 2011 at 4:49 pm

    Interesting thoughts, Pamela, Dr, Y.

I am in no way opposed to public expression of Christianity — or any other faith. (One of my neighbors has a Buddha on the front porch.)

What I am concerned about here is the development of fanaticism. There is always the danger that religious fervor may get out of hand and a kind of religious Nazism will manifest. I think that this is what Thomas Jefferson was trying to prevent.

  • 49 Thrasymachus // Nov 6, 2011 at 5:12 pm

Could opinions like the following, of Wallace Fowlie, reveal anything about America’s lack of confidence? (Mind you, I know nothing of the context of this quotation.)

“That America has no soul and will not deserve to have one until she consents to plunge into the abyss of suffering and sin.”

What on Earth is he talking about? What America? (I came across this quote in my general reading — actually in the Dictionary, so I do not know the text-source. But this certainly sounds very cynical to me.)

  • 50 Pamela K. // Nov 6, 2011 at 5:15 pm

In regards to your comment about the actions of Jehovah’s Witnesses, these people are right up there with the liberals when it comes to using threats of litigation in order to get their way. I personally know a man who is a Jehovah’s Witness was offended about Christmas bonuses being handed out at his work place. The company he worked for ended up having to change the word, “Christmas” to “End of the Year” bonuses to avoid being taken to court! And yet, they freely prance around neighborhoods across America annoying people with their heretical Rutherford Bible and free hand outs of Awake! Magazine. Once you accept their literature, consider your house marked for more unexpected visits!
That said, I believe that the majority of the persecution yet to come against the true believers in Christ, will not only come from the Muslims and but those in the guise of Christ, members of the ever increasing Harlot, or apostate Christianity that is rampant in America right now.

“Jerry Falwell failed miserably in his goals for political and cultural power. The Left fought back all the harder and the country as a whole has moved culturally to the Left — as witnessed by the election of the current President.” Thrasymachus

Knew Falwell personally. Worked for him. Alumni of both the college and seminary. Justice Clarence Thomas was my commencement speaker from the seminary.

I will admit that it was exciting at first to be attending worship at Thomas Road Baptist (old facility on Thomas Road, not new facility at Liberty University). However, the excitement soon changed. I soon saw how the entire tone of things was political. Yes, it was spiritual, in fact, extremely spiritual; however, the heaviness of politics was soon too much for me to handle and I transferred to a small Baptist Church in the Blue Ridge Mountains north of Lynchburg, VA.

What I am about to say can easily be misconstrued, so please understand that I am not speaking of people or judging their characters.

It was hard to go to church and have politicians from D.C., and writers such as Cal Thomas in church every week. Since we were on over 200 TV stations nationwide, it made it even more difficult.

We would come to church and groups like “Queer Nation” would be protesting outside of the church. Liberty Security Officers would be on the roof of the Sanctuary with AR-15 assault rifles “just in case.” Falwell’s pulpit was lined with lead sheeting so that he could duck under it in case of a shooter in the audience took aim and fired (too bad for the choir behind him). I will give him credit for directing loudspeakers towards any protesters and inviting them in to worship, or to use the restroom or to seek shelter from rain or cold.

There was no doubt in my mind that Falwell was a Christian man, and a darned good one.

Unfortunately, Brother Jerry, and many others, operated under the false belief that politics could change the moral nature, compass, or landscape of our nation.

Even non-Christians are able to understand that our country is too far gone for politics to be much of a remedy.

The blackness of the soul has only one cure, and it is not found at the ballot box.

We must vote our conscience and support what is right, but we should never do so under the illusion that a candidate, a party, legislation, or any remedy other than Christ will last.

  • 52 Thrasymachus // Nov 6, 2011 at 8:25 pm

    Great post! I agree entirely.

I in no way intended to condemn Dr. Falwell, the man; I only meant that the method of power-politics (that many Christians still believe in today) was a mistaken one, as it effectively puts one’s trust in the power of Fallen Man, rather than in the Grace of God in the preaching of the Gospel.

  • 53 JollyGreen // Nov 6, 2011 at 8:52 pm

    Thras….

I wasn’t implying that you were condemning anyone. Sorry if it came across that way.

I was just relating my experience.

It is amazing how a ministry can have so much zeal and success in leading others to Christ, yet at the same time, be such a lightning rod politically.

I want to share a quick story about Falwell that I found amusing.

Once, Falwell was being interviewed on a major broadcast network (can’t remember the show or host). It was a roundtable discussion, and one of the other guests was Congressman Jesse Jackson, Jr.

The discussion turned to abortion and after voicing his views, Falwell was soon attacked. Jackson tore into him saying that it was primarily Whites who were “against” abortion, and then listed all of the difficulties that the “Pro-Life” position was causing the “Black” community.

Falwell, who was very shrewd, told Jackson that he remembered the day when Black preachers would stand up against social ills. Falwell said that one of the best “Pro-Life” sermons that he had ever heard was from a “Black preacher.” Jackson said, “Who was he?” Falwell replied….are you ready…….”It was your father, before he sold out and became a politician.”

Falwell was a formidable opponent at the debate table. I am still in awe of the enormous gonadual prowess that he had.

  • 54 Greg H // Nov 6, 2011 at 9:09 pm

Great post JollyGreen! I am glad other Christians are seeing the light on this issue. Politics will not save this nation or any other nation. Why do the American people expect a rotten, corrupt to the core system to solve the problems this country has. Our problems are not political they are spiritual. Pamela K you are right about the apostate church in America today. Rick Warren and Joel Osteen are two of the biggest false teachers out there today. In the end they will oppose true biblical Christianity.

  • 55 Pamela K. // Nov 6, 2011 at 9:29 pm

I think Jerry should have made Jackson Jr. elaborate on how pro-life white people are “causing difficulties” in the black community.
In the United States, the abortion rate for black women is almost five times that of white women. Unplanned pregnancies are an epidemic in black America and yet, this is the fault of white people?
Furthermore, Planned Parenthood has never rescinded their extermination policy against the black race which was mandated by their founder, Margaret Sanger. This is why that organization sets up their abortion mills in almost every inner city neighborhood of the biggest cities across America.
Meanwhile, many black politicians like Jackson Jr. support this genocidal policy against their own race by voting to give Planned Parenthood federal funding.
I suppose it is easy to support a woman’s right to choose when you know that the tax payers-especially the white people you like to demonize Mr. Jackson- are paying for the abortion!

  • 56 JollyGreen // Nov 6, 2011 at 9:32 pm

I feel that Christians, like all citizens, should be active in the voting process…conscience permitting.

But we should do so realizing that even the most conservative republican that beats the biggest Anti-Socialist drum is still the victim of a fallen nature that is marred by sin.

As a result, we will only get temporary and mixed results with even the victory of the best candidate.

Most real Christians live their spiritual lives in the mode of “no compromise.” I still get chills when I see the old black and white film, “Martin Luther,” as he stands before the Diet of Worms refusing to recant his faith saying, “Here I stand, I can do no other.” Awesome faith with “no compromise.” The result of this kind of faith is something that will pay off eternally even if it temporarily robs us of our mortal breath.

Politics, on the other hand, is a process that is replete with “compromise.” The lawyers, the lobbyists, the back-room deals, etc., will never “right” the ship. It only prolongs the misery until the next political “cycle” comes along. It is flawless only its ability to keep us “off-balance.”

I will keep voting, however, I will also keep praying. I know where my bread is buttered….it’s not in DC no matter who is in charge.

  • 57 trubolotta // Nov 7, 2011 at 6:50 am

I’m surprised David, that you would accept an accusation as proof of wrong doing. Cain did not have his day in court and was not even a party to the NRA agreement. In a previous posting I related my own experience of havng been falsely accused but not knowing exactly how the matter was settled. Maybe it was dropped, maybe it wasn’t. I’d hate to think I would be judged simply on the basis of a claim that was made without any opportunity to refute that claim. All I did was refuse to make an apology because there was nothing to apologize for. By the standard you are applying to Cain, I must be guilty.

While the posts here have taken a significant turn from your article, I will agree with those I believe have identified the moral crisis this country finds itself in as one of spirituality, not race. If this country had been anything but Christian from its origin, it would be nothing more than a third world former colony up to its eyeballs in corruption and poverty. With the abandonment of the Christian faith in full swing, we are headed in that direction.

I can sum up the liberal/leftist credo in one phrase: if it’s against the Ten Commandments, we are for it. Those liberals are of all colors, just as those who oppose them are of all colors. I’ll take a “flawed” Cain, Bachmann or Gingrich any day over a “perfect” liberal.

  • 58 Pamela K. // Nov 7, 2011 at 9:04 am

This morning I watched a program about town clerks in New York State who have lost their jobs because they refused to issue marriage licenses for gay couples:

    http://www.cbn.com/cbnnews/us/2011/November/Town-Clerks-Bullied-over-NY-Gay-Marriage-Law-/

As you can see, this issue does not end with just their loss of employment. One woman has been threatened with a lawsuit by a lesbian couple.
Meanwhile, in elementary schools in states where same-sex marriages have been legalized, the impressionable minds of children are being forcibly indoctrinated to accept homosexuality as an accepted lifestyle. Again, this is an infringement on the religious liberty of Christians. I recently read that a legislator wants to pass a law prohibiting the “bullying” of homosexual kids by their Christian peers.
Litigation seems to be the growing trend to punish Christians and deny them their right to freedom of speech and freedom to practice their faith, which is guaranteed to all Americans under the Constitution.

Lawyer: 4th Cain accuser will speak publicly Monday
    By Amy Gardner
    Washington Post
    Monday, November 7, 9:24 AM

If it is true that these kinds of complaints and settlements can transpire without the accused knowing anything about it, then why did Cain and his handlers, months ago, talk about the fact that this story was going to come out?

  • 60 Pamela K. // Nov 7, 2011 at 11:00 am

I would not give any credibility to a story from the liberal Washington Post concerning Cain and his handlers. My question is, which one of these accused ‘victims’, after being receiving all the attention and money from lawsuits and the national news media will be the first to take her clothes off for Playboy or Penthouse, like Paula Jones did, in order to keep herself in circulation as a regular tabloid queen after destroying Herman Cain?

  • 61 trubolotta // Nov 7, 2011 at 11:48 am

“Accusers” are a dime a dozen, especially when the threshold for an allegation is “I felt uncomfortable” and a dutiful female lib can make the accusation. “I was in an elevator with Mr. Cain and he made me feel nervous.” I’m sure the libs are havesting as many nervous women as they can put their paws on. It’s the number of accusers that counts, not the veracity or idiocy of what they are saying. Who needs evidence if you have enough accusers?

If I recall, Cain only advised one of his consultants of the NRA case because that was the only one he knew though he didn’t know the outcome. That consultant later went to work for the Perry campaign, which is why Cain thought he was the one who planted a story because he was the only one Cain discussed it with.
