April is Confederate History Month, as declared by the patriotic state governors of numerous southern states, most recently by Governor McDonnell of Virginia. In 2008, BadEagle.com presented a series of twelve articles on the South, during the month of April. We established that Ann Coulter clearly acknowledges the superior patriotism of the South, and we have also noted her disdain and condemnation for the Ivy League traitors of the North–the sons of the Pilgrims, who devolved into “liberals.” The North claimed moral superiority, of course, as all liberals always do, and the South was left with a black eye, so to speak, or, a social blight that remains to this day through liberal media repetition and propaganda.

An old, historical photograph of Confederate veterans, from
the Southern Party of Georgia.
It is interesting to note, however, how that certain social entities, if consistent, and if remaining steadfast through decades, finally appear to have changed positions! This is not because they changed, but because society around them changed. Indeed, the South today represents all that’s left of true American patriotism, in principle, despite the fact that the South was painted as the evil, anti-American force during the 19th century. The South hasn’t changed. It is the liberal North that has lost its way in all matters of morality, sexuality, and race. The philosophy of the North has brought mass confusion and social autolysis to America. The liberal philosophy has brought an alien, lying black African Communist in to the White House. This is the zenith of absurdity and abstraction. This is social theory, not practical reality. This is ideology, not pragmatism. Abstraction is always self-destructive, and Barry “Obama” Soetoro is a living, verbal testimony to the ill effects of the superficiality created by the illusive, seductive vice of abstraction. This is the modus operandi of the current “acting” president of the United States. He epitomizes the impotence of abstraction. His words are like blank checks. Anyone can fill in any amount of meaning desired or needed. Barry’s just a good liar, nothing more.
Another example of social change versus social consistency would be the Roman Catholic Church in America. America was founded out of rejection of Romanism (and the Church of England). As Yale’s Sydney Ahlstrom said (A Religious History of the American People, Yale, 1974), p.114:
A fierce tradition of anti-Catholicism, bothy visceral and dogmatic, is one of Puritanism’s most active legacies to Anglo-American civilization.
But today, we have six Roman Catholics on the nine-member Supreme Court of the United States of America. The Catholic tradition, instead of being abhored and shunned as it originally was by the founding fathers, has become the center of ideological conservatism in America. This is rather incredible, historically. But, it isn’t because Catholic dogma has changed. It is because Coulter’s “liberals,” the traitorous, wayward sons of the Pilgrims, the Protestants, the “WASPs,” have forsaken their foundations. They have changed, not the Romanists. The Catholics now find themselves representing the pith of American tradition and conservatism.
But now, what of the return of real Americanism? Is America left to a malaise of pluralism and internationalism within our borders? Is a meaningless culture of confusion all we can ever expect now? Is there no hope of recovery?
Foreigners of every grade, color, and religion have infiltrated the South quite as much as anywhere else in America–certainly in the larger cities. Only rural America may hold a sense of “earthy” patriotism. Ideological patriotism has its place, and its strength, but, without the earth, without the original race, religion, and language, we have Pakastani murders in the woodlands. We have a foreign race, religion, and language prospering on the countryside–maybe even in Georgia. (Of course, our only hope of hearing of these camps in media was FoxNews; but, since Rupert Murdoch sold a significant portion of the corporation to Saudi Arabia, it is not likely that we’ll hear much more from FoxNews in the way of negative Muslim news. However, that sale was actually in 2005, and the Hannity report on Jihadist camps in America was in 2009, so, maybe there is still hope.)
States rights, the issue which cause the Civil War, is certainly revived in America at this present time. Specifically regarding the Democrat Death Care plan (better known as the Obama-Reid-Pelosi “Health Care” plan), thirteen state attorneys general filed suit against the federal government immediately after Barry signed the odious bill, and more state attorneys have followed–some 20 as of this month.
There are a number of major, national issues in which states see the federal government as overreaching its Constitutional authority. This general debate centers on the 10th Amendment of the US Constitution:
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
Of course, the whole idea behind American government was that it would be representative. Through elected officers, the government would express the will of the people. It is that elected arrangement, that “republican” process, that mob rule would be eliminated. Of course, the Democrat appeal is to the mob mentality, but, this has an interesting way of turning out to be tyranny, every time. Democrat rule tends toward tyranny because when the mob is losed, it takes tyranny to control it. All we have to do is consider the French Revolution for that lesson.
In the meantime, Communist America continually appeals to racial agitation to keep the mob alive and threatening. That’s why Barry was put in office. Republicans make a grave and lethal error in imitating the Democrat manoeuver by putting persons of color in leadership positions over the dominant white society. Minorities cannot rule over majority populations, not in America. The Communist ideology of “equality” is a delusion, designed to destroy any establishment, anywhere, at any time. It is the very spirit of Satan–rebellion. Never mind its slogans. Just observe its mass murderous actions. (The Harvard Black Book of Communism, 1997). And consider Islam another useful idiot in the mix.
America was the last frontier of Communism. Communism has made frightful inroads into the very foundations of Americanism. We have Communists–anti-Americans, in the highest offices in the country. Communists have used race to get where they are.
So, given the givens, my intuitions tell me that the South will have an essential role in the salvation of America. I look for what’s left of the White Anglo-Saxon Protestant to come out of the South. This is all that’s left of the original America. Any “new” America, without the fundamental elements of nationhood–race, religion, language, borders, unified culture–will leave the door open to the perpetual menace of the Communist ideology.
And one final word on abstraction: the founding fathers reflected their own values when they wrote the constitution. It was self-affirming, nothing more. I for one do not believe they envisioned the America of today. Multiculturalism, Communist equality, or pluraism were never part of their vision or purpose. It is the abstract nature of legal language, the statement of “principle,” which allows a diverse application, and an autolytic reversal of meaning. The fathers were aware of that, and warned against it in the 9th Amendment. They weren’t lost in abstraction.

I tried to find the definition of autolysis and autolytic in my Oxford paperback dictionary and they weren’t there. I guess I need to add a dictionary button to Google Toolbar. I am a Southerner, raised here in 4 of the states most of my life of 58 years- GA, FL, SC and NC. I lived in NJ for 3 years as a kid. I lived near a park where George Washington stayed in the Revolutionary War called Jockey Hollow. This entire area then was beautifully forested and somewhat undeveloped, around the early-mid 60′s. I can’t imagine bashing all of the North because they have become so liberal. Bash just the liberals maybe, but they’ll bash back, blaming the conservatives in counter debate as they do on tv. It would be something I would not wish to do to disavow the Bicentennial and look to The Civil War as the only major war ever fought in the US. Some people here in the Charleston, SC area to me are proponents of the Civil War only, and do not want to recognize the Revolutionary War. This is exemplified by the two oldest colleges in downtown Charleston- The College of Charleston and The Citadel. The C of C was founded before the Rev War began, I believe in the 1730′s. So the Rev War is their war to identify with. The Citadel began I believe in 1823, before the Civ War. Cadets from there fired the first shots at Ft. Sumter, the Union fort, starting the Civ War. Even though The Citadel was founded prior to the Civ War, that is their war, probably. So here in the Charleston area both colleges compete in sports, and in historical representation of US wars. There’s a confederate cemetery in Charleston with plenty of available plots available to those who can show proof of confederate ancestry, for those who prefer the Civ War over the Rev War. I was born in a state that was not in the Confederacy or Union, so I am neutral, and devote most of my interest to the Rev War, although when I found an unexploded Civ War parrot shell across the street on the beach partially buried in sand and brought it back home for three nights, I was forced to have enough Civ War interest to call the cops about it since it was solid, but a little rusted and corroded metal, shaped like a bullet, with a chunk corroded away from it’s nose. It was designed to have gunpowder in it, and after cops evacuating my neighborhood and blocking off the block by firetrucks, the county sheriff’s bomb squad had to come out and take it away. This island I live on used to have the negro Massachusetts Regiment of the Union Army stationed here in the Civ War, the regiment the Hollywood movie “Glory” was about, and probably the parrot shell was connected with them. It was mainly a Union shell, used alot in the seige of Atlanta. Now, on this beach, hardly any blacks live here, even with the Civ War history. It’s all white, almost. The blacks live on the next island inland. With the Civ War episode behind me, I got back to the Rev War primary interest. I wish to hold on to the North for Rev War historical purposes, and not let liberals bother me. They are modern day people, which is one thing, but they are not history, which is an entirely different but factual other thing existing in the North.

Am I mistaken about the Southern stigma? I mean, everyone appreciates the beauty, the elegance, the old ways, etc. But, I think the South came out with a certain questionable rep. “Rebel.” Anti-government. Why, even sort of anti-American. Bad boys. Needed a whippin’.
I’m saying now that I think the last hope of recovering American values is through the South. Southerners were attacked on their homeland. It was very personal.
As for the Revolutionary War? It was Brits, attacking their own, on a far away place. Not so personal. The “American” Brits were, of course, considered rebels. Scoundrels. Traitors. It was indeed a bold, daring move, the Revolution. American came out on top, and not with a black eye, I don’t think.
Autolysis is the self-destructive process at the cellular level. Cells eat each other. There’s plenty of info on the internet. Lupus, Sjogren’s, etc., are autolytic diseases.

People from other regions might conceive of a Southerner as a red neck Civ War type, completely disregarding the Rev War. They saw/see Southerners as the Beverly Hillbillies. That would be appropriate for looking at Southerners from an 1800′s frame of reference. That’s just one century of Southern history. Southerners are more diverse than the Civ War stigma. Of course, I grew up in Oklahoma. There was certainly never any animosity toward the South here. (In fact, as I’m sure you know, the huge Eastern Indian tribes fought with the Confederacy.) I grew up with no negative image of the South at all. In a crazy way, it was always as Romantic and lovable as any image of the North.
Oklahoma has a unique history, being “Indian Territory” for so long. I’m just fishing for how others, particularly Northers, regard the South today.

dr. yeagley, I agree with all you said sir. Unfortunatley, my state of NC has been flooded by the northerners you talk about. I live out in the country but when I do enter the city the vast majority of the people are from either the midwest or the northeast. They’re very rude and they’re not as hospitible. It really shocked me the first time I saw the northern mentality. they always have something to say and they always know more than you. something that really disturbed me about the northerners though was a the control freak mentality they have (gun laws, high property taxes, too many zoning regulations). Something else they do is when they find an area they like, they will flood in the area take over politically and make it “just like home”. this is all part of their control freak mentality. But this wasn’t the norm until the whole housing boom started. home prices were cheaper down south along with the cost of living and all the baby boomers took there new york pensions along with their extended family and moved down south in mass. if you’re ever on the east coast check out charlotte, nc or raleigh, nc or anywhere in western nc or wilmington. you would be hard pressed to find at least one southern accent in any of those places. but I do believe there is hope. as it turns out, this economic recession/ depression has somewhat slowed down this rapid change in demographics, buying us some time. this economic slowdown may be the miracle from God needed to at least save part of the country. by the way, (I have to say this lest I offend some people) not all northerners are bad people but most of the liberals (if not all) who live in NC are from up North.
Let The South Rise Again!

jo, the South rose again early on when Crawford Long at Emory in Atlanta discovered general anesthesia, or ether. I understand he discovered this while doing cocaine. David would know the answer to this, being an Emory grad school grad. Up until Crawford Long discovered ether, it was Civ War-type hospital operations. I myself as a kid had my tonsils taken out at Crawford Long hospital in Atl under ether back in the 50′s. There was no diprovan then like there is now for operations of shorter duration(such as carpal tunnel surgeries, one of which dip was admined to me in Oct). The South rose again because of Crawford Long and completely overtook the North. Like David says, the South is the leader of the country, we voted for McCain, and even though we lost, we won, a “Long” time ago. Obama’s Health Care relys on Crawford Long’s discovery, otherwise Obama would have a health care plan for back in Civ War days, and look like a slave from back then with a health care plan for essentially no health care at all.

Don’t forget Coca-cola! Atlanta’s own, and the charter funder of Emory.
Curiously, women were given sufferage in Atlanta in 1919, a year before the national sufferage.

Coke is tasty. I had one the other day. It’s so strong that you think it’s almost like alcohol. If Coke is intelligent, they will get into the alcohol business and develop calorie-free vodka and other alcoholic drinks like bourbon and scotch. They have developed Zero Coke, which is what I had the other day. They developed that a “Long” time ago.

I looked at that link I offered about the Civ War pics last night by clicking on it within this site. I noticed how the Generals looked at the end of that page. I noticed how the two Presidents, Lincoln and Jefferson Davis, looked. The one who looked the best was Jefferson Davis. Lincoln had that beard w/o a mustache, looking dorky. Everybody knows a man can grow a full beard, including a mustache. That’s how Christ looked. I think Davis probably wanted to point out the flaw in Lincoln’s beard by wearing one that had no mustache and also was not connected to his hair on the top of his head, looking really cool. Those Confederate and Union officers wore facial hair in various ways, reminiscent of how they wear them these days. I personally have a full beard right now, connected to my hair and with the mustache, but it’s not “Long”. As far as Lincoln’s image is concerned, my brother who lives in the mountains of NY and I used to put pennies on the railroad tracks in back of our house in NJ when we were kids and distort the hell out of Lincoln’s image after trains would run over the pennies. We tried silver quarters, and never could find them afterwards. I guess Lincoln needed his image distorted, just like he needed to wear his beard like Jefferson Davis, but Washington did not and should not have had his image distorted.

Perhaps Jefferson Davis wore his beard in a cool way to convey the South’s finding out about peyote’s psychedelic properties from Texas and Indians there. Reading about peyote on Wikipedia reveals the history of it’s use in the Texas area when Confederate soldiers, who eventually went on to become Texas Rangers, were captured by the Union army, found out about it, and consumed it in order to get intoxicated when they had no access to alcohol as prisoners of war. Perhaps word got out to Confederate leadership about peyote, which was being consumed by Indians all along, and Jefferson Davis wanted to look cool, perhaps after trying some, and then show Lincoln how to look following the leader. Whether it be ether or peyote, the South is the leader in the best substances for people to alter consciousness in governed ways to this day. Ether is governed by medical licensing boards of anesthesiologists, who will take away a physician’s license to practice if he screws up administering ether, not to mention getting arrested by the cops possibly. We wanted our candidate McCain to win, and he was from AZ which allows peyote to be grown there legally. Peyote is illegal here, so it’s governed, but we voted for the peyote state, in my case by accident, as I knew nothing of AZ having legal peyote. The South keeps it’s cool because we have to since it gets warmer here than the North, and we have to work at it, personal image and all. The only problem with the North is that they might not have to keep their cool since it’s done for them by outside temps, but doing that is manifested in people not being able to handle such luxury as lazily not having to work at it, such as in how Lincoln’s beard looked, the Amish look. It did not look Christian or cool at all. These are theories I have about what message the South wanted to convey, and I might be wrong. But maybe I’m right. The photos in that Civ War link I offered above might tell a thousand words.

I’ll have to post a blog on this one next week:
Frat inspired by Robert E. Lee bans Rebel uniforms
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – A college fraternity inspired by Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee has banned members around the country from wearing Confederate uniforms to “Old South” parties and parades after years of complaints that the tradition was racially insensitive
Not the kind of Southern men who made the South, or who will preserve it, or America. Sad commentary. Intimidated by black women. Unbelievable.

There was a reenactment last weekend here in the Charleston, SC area on a sea island named Johns Island of the Battle of Secessionville. People come from all over the country to participate in this. Both sides dress up in uniforms, the Gray and the Blue. I was here on Folly Beach in my backyard and could hear the cannons start up Saturday afternoon around 2 pm all the way to here. Addditionally, the Blue Angels were in town, and their thunder could be heard at the same time(on Friday I saw them slowly fly over my folks house on another island while I was doing yardwork for them, with US Navy on the underside of their wings. I later thought to myself about McCain being a Navy pilot in Viet Nam. I thought of the wings of the thunderbirds having a second, read between the lines meaning of “McCain” on one side, and “peyote” on the other, of course like I have written about commenting that peyote is legally grown in AZ where McCain lives, the South’s and midwest’s selection for a candidate who ran against Obama). Gray uniforms have to be worn by the Gray for authentication.

This speech, which can be heard online without downloading it, is the last time (so far as I know) that the South had a governmentally approved white-survivalist movement.

I must be a misfit. I had white ancestors who were scalped by Indians and had ancestors who married Indians. I had a few Puritans and a bunch of Quakers. There were British adventurers and Scotch prisoners. There were some northerners and some southerners. I guess, to look at me: I’m white with the bone structure of my Indian ancestors.
A whole bunch of America is not as “white” as they think they are and whole bunch of blacks in America had white blood from their slave owners, so they aren’t as “black” as they think they are.
So…how does your theory work when we are already all mixed up? I’m not sure I see how our outward color has anything to do with what is in our hearts??? Did I not understand your post?
I don’t want to see white supremacists in my home town. I don’t want anyone to feel that they are superior to another human being based solely on color. Isn’t that what got my Indian ancestors killed? White man feeling they were superior???
Intimidated by black women???? Have you taken a look at black culture today? It is the black women who hold the power in the black communities. That is not much different from the Southern Belles who ran the plantations.
Maybe I’m confused in mind as well as body…. (:
