Obama Police Tyranny Begins

by David Yeagley · February 20, 2009 · 14 Comments ·

An Oklahoma City man was accosted by police for a sign he had on the back of his SUV: “Abort Obama, Not the Unborn.” The police pulled him over, confiscated his sign, reported him to the Secret Service, and he was was interrogated in his home by the SS. They did a “walk through” in his home, to determine whether he was a “racist.”

This happened February 12, over a week ago. It just made The Oklahoman yesterday, the 19th.

Chip Harrison, a normal, upstanding Oklahoma City man, was an embarrassingly innocent, simple Christian man. Here is his own testimony of what happened.

Chip Harrison, harassed by OKC police and the Secret Service.

The police claimed in their report that the Secret Service “could construe this [Harrison's sign] as a threat against President Obama.” So, what else might local police decide might be considered a threat to Obama in the eyes of the SS? So, the local city police may now act as the arm of the SS? The primary informants?

Oklahoma City Police spokesman Steve McCool said that the sign was taken in error, and Oklahoma City residents should not be worried that their First Amendment rights will be violated. This is called damage control. Ah, but the damage is done. The precedent it set.

OKC Police spokesman McCool’s damage control response.

It is abundantly clear that enforcement paranoia has set in. Make that tyranny. Don’t criticize Obama. The feds will come after you. That’s the pace now.

But who knows, maybe it was just Oklahoma Democrat police, who are smarting because the state legislature has turned Republican. Maybe it’s a case of personal frustration. Police are only human. Who knows what the Oklahoma police will do when the state declares independence from federal abuse?! Will the police go after Oklahoma House Representative Charles Key for his state sovereignty bill (HJR 1003), or Oklahoma State Senator Randy Brogdon for his state sovereignty bills SJR 10 and SJR 11? Will any disagreement with the nation-trasher in the White House be considered “a threat”? Senator Brogdon is on a literal campaign for liberty these days. Heroes are always marked men. Oklahoma will soon be a marked state.

But law enforcement is already liberalized. Law must have enforcement. If the laws are liberal, the enforcement mind set will be liberal. It is a cultural mood. Authority is becoming Communist before our eyes. Tyranny has begun.

People are already talking about “revolution” against it. Rush Limbaugh is using the word. CNBC financial reporter Rick Santelli lauded the Boston Tea Party of 1773. Talk is in the air, on the air, and on the net. (BadEagle.com has spoken of it for several years.)

Rick Santellis “Rant of the Year.”

While the people become more and more angry, the police force is growing in authority and equipment–by means of the Obama Bail Out. These things can always be discussed either way, but, the reputation of the police force has changed. It is definitely liberal, definitely raced-based–designed to “protect” the Negro and to denigrate the white (and other non-Negro groups, like the American Indian). The popular impression of the police is one of unreliability, and at this juncture in our cultural deconstruction, fear. The police will target the innocent–in the name of political correctness. In the name of “liberal” Democrat tyranny. That’s just the way it is now. The police enforce the law. If the law is liberal, the police are liberal.

Chip Harrison can vouch for that. It happened in Oklahoma City. Does anyone in the country know about this yet? Criticize Obama, and the SS will come to your door, and “walk through” your house. The dye is cast. The precedent is set. A “black” cloud is settling over the country. White liberals have created it. At this point, they’re Democrat and Republican.

When angry people outnumber the police, then we’ll see the National Guard on our streets. At that point, there will be effectively no American Constitution at all.

Yet another great article! BUT I believe many police will split and the military will suffer a constitutional crisis. Dirty little secret is officers can disobey an unconstitutional order!

Secondly, the jihadis will unwittingly stop the socialist train wreck. When they come, they will come hard! Obama will make the incompetence of Katrina look like the Raid on Entebbe!

This country is in for an awakening like no other. Even Putin! Putin is telling us don’t go down this road! People are slowly getting that they need us in one piece.

When terrorism is fought here the Earth will stand still and watch with baited breath. Obama will fail, the left will collapse, leftists will be bordering on suicide when they realize they’ve been wrong all along. The Republicans and Democrats will be irrelevant.

Americanism in its purist form will be sought out and churches will be flowing over.

The road is terrible but the destination is going to be beautiful.

    One Nation Under God Again!

    Mount up warriors!

Nothing like positive thinking! Thank you, Mr. Smalls.

The Democrat Goon Squad is clammering for Nationalizing the Banks. I bet they’re just drooling over the notion. I’m sure the Unions are too. Once that happens they can strangle out all opposition and bring it to its knees.

Economic submission. But the stupid stupid masses will obey, cause this ain’t your father’s Country no more. There will be no uprising, and by the time there might be one, there will be no means to inact one. That is my bet.

    Your welcome Dr. Yeagley!

    kschwantz,

I know it looks hopeless and the left seem unstoppable BUT they aren’t. I’m amazed at some of the hopelessness on some “conservative” sites.

That is exactly the plan. Daily Kos before the election talked of crushing our spirit! CRUSHING OUR SPIRIT!!!

Let me tell you something. Who are the ones with the guns? Who dominates the military and veterans?

I’ll wager at least 75% of armed folks despise the leftist agenda.

Remember the “bitter clingers” to guns and God? At times I feel that hopelessness creep in and I get enraged.

Our Founders survived greater odds with LESS!

Don’ think for one moment the Rangers, Marines, Green Berets and SEALS, etc. will allow this to continue if the feds start getting nasty!

Everyone just seems to overlook a HUGE factor:Islamic terrorists.

You can’t implement socialism during combat. FDR couldn’t, Hitler couldn’t. You need a peaceful environment steeped in economic chaos to do it.

Why do you think Obama was anointed by the Democrats? Do you really think he’s running the show? The man needs a teleprompter during a press conference! Bush on his worst day could survive a press conference.

How in God’s name is a man who’s name is Barrack Hussein Obama elected during a war with muslims? I’ll tell you in one word:

    APPEASEMENT!

Obama has addressed every grievance Al Qaeda and the jihadis have within 3 days of the oath. A report came out that Obama has been negotiating a truce with AQ through back channels.

Be nice and they won’t cut heads off. How sad this is. If you really believe in what you posted then why do you bother coming to this site? Get an Obama shirt, join the Democrats and you and yours will have an easier time.

Then shake it off and get that spirit of Valley Forge and wait. You’ll know when to make your move. Join with like minded people.

Thanks for hearing me out and hang tough.

All we need is a “Few Good Men”.

God help me to be one of those few good men!

Problem too is in conservative media. They have all become hired mourners. Professional lamentationists. They simply follow the bad news, and comment on it. That’s all there is for them to do. Conservative talkers are not LEADERS. Just commentators.

We need brave leaders! They seem to lose their bravery by the time they get to DC.

  • 7 kschwantz // Feb 20, 2009 at 7:09 pm

Guys its unrealistic to cling to the notion that the silent majority will rise up and suddenly be heard. If you haven’t noticed, conservative toleration has been going on for quite some time, decades in fact, and in every revolution of the instance the liberal/socialist side has gained ground, and has yeilded none. Resonable tolerant folks have given way piece meal to the socialist causes, that have been steadily growing. As each sucessive generation dies away, (the ones who understood what they had) a new generation takes its place which hasn’t a clue what was lost. A great deal of this is due to the fact that Conservatives allowed the socialists to dictate the tems of public education. They tolerated the other side. Now you can hardly teach American history, because everyone of genuine note has been redefined in a negative light, as “slave owner” Racist, imperialist, etc… They’ve been replaced with mutlicultural figures, social revolutionaries, and the like. Liberal Socialism is a political machine, and as a machine moves and acts with certain purpose; not like individuals which is what Conservatives are in my view.

Granted 75%, no say 90% of armed folks hate the leftist agenda. So what? That’s 90% of disjointed, free wheeling individuals, not a directed united political machine, who organizes, and mobilizes for a political social goal. Every time you look at a large political election you can see the Democrats target all the heavily populated and urban areas, why? Because their political machine, (i.e. unions) get more bang for the buck there. And the Republicans? Their just minor league Democrats anymore. More People probably voted against Kerry in 04 than voted for Bush. Lesser of two evils sure, but Bush was no Conservative. He screwed the pooch and every Conservative who voted for him, and created the perfect atmosphere for a Democratic coup.

Have you noticed all Obama, (Democrat Union poster boy) has done since getting into office, other than sign whatever is handed to him by the union is campaign? He campaigns for the new stimulus plan, for the bank plan, for the healthcare plan, for the labor plan. That’s the only skill he has. He’s clueless otherwise. But I’m digressing.

You guys state the premise that Conservatives will somehow rise up or at least get riled up enough to demand a stop to this social snowball we’re being rolled up in.

I say no they won’t. Because its those same conservatives that have been steadily handing everything that ever meant anything away for years, and years now. And their not going to stop doing that until there’s its all gone. They do this because they’re reasonable. Classically, and at every turn they hand away the future for a little peace now. And like I said before this ain’t our father’s America anymore. All the people who would have stood up and went to blows are long gone. This generation is not the same by a long shot, and that’s not mentioning all the foreign nationals that crowd our streets. The number of Conservative American citizens are dwendling. The Politicians are taking money from American Citizens, and promising it to foreign nationals, so that the politicains can soon leverage their votes against those very American Citizens. Its no mistake that the main flux of immigrants are poor and stupid, or hostile and stupid. The stupid ones will vote as enticed, the hostile ones can create distablization for an excuse to further take freedoms from the bulk of the citizenry. The stupid ones won’t miss this, because they never had it where they came from. This sounds conspiritory of course but its happening bit by bit now. And you can go out and vote, but you have no choice, and you can go out and write letters, but no one is listening, and if you rise up, be sure and look around first because there isn’t going to be anyone there watching your back. Because ever increasingly you, me; we are just seperate individuals standing in front of a political machine that is not here for us, or this country, but for its own self agrandized gain, and it has all our resources combined to coerce, and submit us. And the Silent majority let this happen. Because it didn’t recognize the value of what it was giving up so a little peace and quiet. The silent Majority has been just that, all this time. I’m sorry but the track record of silent majority says its going to continue to lay down and give in.

I’m with you two, but I’m looking at the realistic, & probable outcome of all this, and I don’t see what you’re hoping for happening.

Dave, who would you rise up against? What would you do? No offense, but the last time you walked up a hill it put you in the hospital!

Guys I’m not saying don’t stop having a defiant spirit, I’m just cautioning about overly hopeful expectations. Know what I mean?

  • 8 Terry Morris // Feb 21, 2009 at 6:36 am

This was most definitely an overreach by the officer. But I’m betting there’s a reasonable explanation for it. Obama is a radical leftist and the Congress being radical leftists too, and since leftism is inherently radical with no self-restraining will or capability, there are very likely going to be some attempts made on Obama’s life. The more radical he and the Congress gets (again, being leftists, they can’t restrain themselves), the more danger he puts himself in. And I’ll bet law enforcement agencies around the country have been notified of this and are encouraged to be on the lookout for these kinds of things. There are a bunch of crazies out there.

One thing I will say though, at least the officer knows that abortion equals murder, although he doesn’t seem to be particularly discerning otherwise.

  • 9 Matilda Darquerider // Feb 21, 2009 at 8:57 am

    Terry Morris,
I think this country is going to see a lot of over-reactions in regards to Mr. Obama during the length of his administration.

Not too long ago the head of the sheriff’s department got into some very hot water because he had addressed Mr. Obama by his full name. A local newspaper came down hard on writers and bloggers who addressed Mr. Obama by anything other than Mr. President or President Obama.

I use to write a blog for that same newspaper, but apparently I fell from grace when I wrote an objective piece on lawful orders in the military, and questioned the constitutional eligibility of our current Commander-in-Chief.

One thing worries me is how all this political correctness is going to affect future legislation. Are liberals going to whip out the race card every time there objections or criticisms on legislation that Mr. Obama favors? Probably.

  • 10 johnnymac // Feb 21, 2009 at 11:41 am

Why is it police officers seem to be unaware of what the First Amendment is and what ”unreasnable search and siezure” means? It doesn’t surprise me this “Obamafication” is happening. I live in New Jersey and a small private school in the town of Plainfield renamed itself after Obama. Its an elite school and a spokesperson for the student body said a lot of the students were ”unsure they could live up to the high standards of their namesake”. Good Lord, thats disgusting. The Cult of Personality has arrived in America.

  • 11 Call Me Mom // Feb 21, 2009 at 5:21 pm

    Dr. Yeagly,
Wonderful post, thanks to Mr. Morris for alerting me to it.
    kschwantz,
What exactly do think you are accomplishing by bemoaning the fate of the nation as though there were nothing to be done? Do you hope to discourage those who will stand for our Constitution and our God given rights to be upheld? The time to pick a side on this is now. Sitting on the fence will accomplish nothing. If our country comes to destruction, it will not be because I gave up. If you will not join the struggle, at least refrain from discouraging those who will.

  • 12 David Yeagley // Feb 21, 2009 at 7:32 pm

How many people does it take to be offended, before the public acts out its real values? What act of outrage will suffice to galvanize the people of the country to unite, and draw the line, saying, ‘No more!’?

I think of the last three chapters of Judges, and the story of the Benjamite outrage. Finally, all Israel united–against one of their own tribes. This was the precursor to the days of Samuel, and the establishment of the divine kingship.

Something happened that so offended everyone that the people united. However unprepared, ill-equipped, and unworthy they were, Israel united–against one of their own tribes. The outrage of Benjamin’s sin was too great. It united the nation.

Without getting into the specific sin (crime), suffice it to say that there was a line crossed. The people would tolerate no more–no more failure on their own part to stand up and to do what’s right.

What is that line? When is it drawn? If one could know this, if one could perceive the people’s limit, one could be a great leader.

Obama is nothing. Less than a puppet. He doen’t know people, economics, or values.

  • 13 kschwantz // Feb 22, 2009 at 9:44 am

“How many people does it take to be offended, before the public acts out its real values?”

That’s a good question. People around me, at work and what not suspect I’m a maniac because of the outrage I convey when these topics come up. And I mention what its doing to the Country and where this is all going and they agree, and so I ask them, “how can you not be outraged?’ And they just shrugg it off.

Maybe they’re right you know? Remember the response the Minutmen got when they started patrolling the borders when the Government refused? The Government deployed officers to be on the ready to arrest the Minutemen!

The Spirit of America lives in the hearts and minds of Americans, but I’m afraid its been gone in the Government for some time now.

  • 14 Robert Smalls // Feb 22, 2009 at 10:48 am

If I may be bold enough to assume what kschwantz is saying. If he means our political “conservative” leaders have rolled over then he’s right for the most part save a few who I won’t mention at this time.

The uprising I’m referring to is the people. That rage you feel is exactly how I feel. You said perfectly

“The Spirit of America lives in the hearts and minds of Americans, but I’m afraid its been gone in the Government for some time now.”

I will not live in a socialist country and I will not leave this country so my choices are few!

Keep your rage sir. Let it marinate and ask the Lord to help you. The time will come when that fighting spirit will be needed. You’ll know.

I heard a pastor talk of the “Prodigal Son” in the traditional sense. As I was reading the article a thought came to my mind about America.

America was in God’s house then America got cocky and took the “inheritance” and went her own way. Then America went broke and lived among the hogs and lived a desperate life. Things got so bad she realized how good it was in the Father’s house!

I believe America will come to desperate times (economic deprivation and the sons of Ishmael i.e. terrorists) will bring us back.

God has always used the enemy and persecution to grow His cause and to bring His own back to Him. Then in turn crush those same enemies to bring them to Him!

Dr. Yeagley, that Commanche spirit will come out in one form or another. This is the left’s Final Exam and they will fail.

God bless all of you for your love of what is right and true.

    God save America.
