Christmas time is here
Happiness and cheer…
Carols everywhere
Olden times and ancient rhymes
Of love and dreams to share
Sleigh bells in the air
Beauty everywhere
Yuletide by the fireside
And joyful memories there

Melissa Manchester sings “Christmas Time is Here.”
As we write, the American president-elect Barack Hussein Obama is covered in more scandal than any president-elect in history. His person is beleaguered by more confusion and contradiction than his own name belies. It is a heinous prospect America faces. Indeed, the American spirit seems a thing of “olden times and ancient rhymes.” Of “dreams to share” and “joyful memories.” These wonders are all things of the past, no longer with us, no longer possible. America seems just a lovely memory.
And what of the Christmas spirit? What of Christ? How does the Christian relate to so dim a view brought before him? An alien black African Muslum Communist, president of a white Anglo-Saxon Protestant nation? Can it be? What does this catastrophic circumstance portend?
As Herman Melville wrote in Moby Dick, as Ishmael contemplated the future of Starbuck:
But were the coming narrative to reveal, in any instance, the complete abasement of poor Starbuck’s fortitude, scarce might I have the heart to write it; for it is a thing most sorrowful, nay shocking, to expose the fall of valor in the soul. Men may seem detestable as joint stock-companies and nations; knaves, fools, and murderers there may be; men may have mean and meagre faces; but man, in the ideal, is so noble and so sparkling, such a grand and glowing creature, that over any ignominious blemish in him all his fellows should run to throw their costliest robes.

Herman Meville, (1819-1891) a wishful thinker?
Is the Christian spirit, then, to cover for Hussein (may his name be changed, inshallah)? Shall we seek to look the other way, when nothing but grave suspicion has surrounded the man from the day he became involved in American politics (–to say nothing of the confusion and mystery associated with his birth, education, religion, and country of origin)? Do we just write it all off, and go with the flow, or, the plodding muck of inequity, or, the overwhelming, torpid tide of evil doing and sin?
That this aching dilemma should loom before us now, at such a time, in such a way, is truly remarkable. Unspeakable corruption, false images, facades of faith, whole betrayal, treachery, and cruelty of spirit dominate our national condition at this tragic time. The media is desperate. “Obama avoids stain of Chicago’s political scandals,” says Sharon Cohen’s AP wire. How sick and laughable. His stains are deeper than Lady McBeth’s, dark as his natural hue. “Obama calls on Illinois governor to resign,” in order to “distance himself” from the crime center (Chicago) out of which he grew. Just another “I don’t know him” tactic, like Obama used toward Jeremiah Wright, William Ayers, Tony Rezko, and others. How long does he plan to keep this up?
By contrast, Christians are warned against a time when they profess the most intimate and intense association with Jesus, only to hear His devastating pronouncement: “I never knew you.” (Matthew 7:22)
So how shall we ponder the birth of Christ when we have the death of our country in our face, a country deconstructing before our eyes–by the hour? How shall we clothe our spirits with Lord’s song in a land which has become strange to us? (Psalm 137:4)
Yes, America is fast becoming something it never was before, never intended to be, and specifically designed not to be. Patriots are becoming foreigners in our own land. Our hearts are truly broken. It is a desperate situation.
Is it anything prayer can change? (Indeed, was it the lack of prayer that brought forth the fluke Barack Hussein Obama and his “change”?) Can it be that only the force of arms can end this national ruin? Shall the people have to rise up against the government–as the government prepares to disarm them and to put troops in the cities? (In October, 2008, The Lakeland Times declared, “Barack Obama is the most radical anti-gun candidate for president ever, and, if he is elected, he will absolutely try to take your guns and your gun rights away.)

George Washington, in prayer before battle.
The question is this: Is armed revolution by the public the only thing that can save America? Arms and prayer were what created America, certainly. Is this the only hope for preserving America? If so, we need to organize, to prepare, to be ready. It appears the only alternative is to sit back, vote now and then, and simply watch it all crumble in our face. If we do nothing, we will see America dissolve into some other political entity, some hideous, atribilious amalgamation of Communism, corporate capitalism, all miserably mixed with elections–of corrupt individuals who will wreak only more of the same upon us.
America is about to be over, for good. It seems that a rally of righteous indignation is our last gasp for life. Yes, Christmas season is here. The wind will blow, the snow will fall, the lights will sparkle, many gifts will be given. But this Christmas, 2008, is shadowed by the very worst time American history. It is not the birth of Christ, but the yeaning of mostrous deformity that dominates this Christmas. It is not sentiment, but tyranny that prevails. It is an impossible Christmas. It was never so far from our present state of mind.
Do we give ourselves then to war? America has not had such a privilege since WWII. We’re not allowed to have enemies as a nation. Congress has castrated us. (Pardon my Christmas spirit, but just about every Congressman in DC at this present time should be taken out and shot for treason.) Why, there is no war in the world. It’s all individualism. We’re not allowed to say Arabs and Pakistanis go home–to your own countries. It’s all a “religious” thing. An individual thing. “Freedom,” our enemies call it. We must deal with each Arab individually, and harbor his anti-Christian religion, giving him every opportunity to destroy ours, spiritually and ideologically, if not literally. The terrorists are all individuals. Why, there is no country to go to war with. There is no people to condemn. Just ideas.
The spirit of America is fast fading. How can we have a national spirit, if we’re not allowed to behave like a nation? And we certainly can’t have the sentiments of the Christmas spirit when the very country that provided us the freedom of Christmas is now controlled by the most vomitable, corrupt deceivers in history?
We’re either going to be free Christians, or persecuted Christians. We’re already tasting the latter. It will only get worse. The force of arms alone can change that. Force alone can change the change Obama is set upon. Will we see it? Will the blood of patriots once again water the tree of liberty, or will true Americans remain some mass of nosferatu (un-dead), living on some remote reservation of memory?

Armed revolution? I’ve been thinking about this more and more lately. It’s great reading what you have to say, and I look forward to more.
I have 2 young teenagers and I don’t know what to tell them. All of my descendants have left their children with a better life. I don’t think I’ll be able to do the same, and my heart aches because of that fact. If there was another ‘America’ that I could move to, I would.
Can I say that I now know what your descendants must have been feeling? Or at least I have a better understanding?
I look forward to more of your thoughts on the direction of this country and it’s potential downfall.

Welcome, Jim. I push the envelop on this one, I know. But, this is where the thoughts lead.
The “downfull” will be ever so painless. As everyone is doped and duped on false values, we’ll hardly notice–until we’re out on the street.
The country will appear to go on as always. We’re living in the same houses (most of us). We’re shopping at the same stores–which apparently always are full. The buildings and roads all appear the same.
So, what is the “change” that Obama thought we needed so desperately? Who’s going to be worse off for this “change”? Who will be better off?
The downfall is really a fading into another system, an non-American, un-American system. The appearances will seem much the same.
It is sinister. I fear a terrible awakening, after it’s too late to do anything about it.

“It is sinister. I fear a terrible awakening, after it’s too late to do anything about it.”
And yes, the appearances will seem much the same.
I sure would like to hear of some solutions before it’s too late. Not only from you, but from everyone else who feels that we are on the edge of the abyss.
Congress is selling out every one of us. You are right, they are treasonous. That’s what makes it all the more…..frustrating (that’s the only word I can think of).

If there are men who are still loyal to the constitution and our founding principles in the military may they soon rise to save the republic.

“Will the blood of patriots once again water the tree of liberty, or will true Americans remain some mass of nosferatu (un-dead), living on some remote reservation of memory? ”
The sentence “Will the blood of patriots once again water the tree of liberty…” is a rather inelegant mix of metaphors, is it not? An awkward attempt to finesse a phrase.
And your translation of the word “nosferatu” is incorrect. While it is generally accepted by english speakers that nosferatu means un-dead, the word is a 19th century creation and belongs to no spoken dialect. Thus it has no translation.
I suggest you employ an editor to avoid such glaring grammatical and etymological errors.

Aside from your stellar opinions and astounding academic prowess, do you have a point?
(By the way, you are wrong on all points you did attempt to make. This is due no doubt your lack of poetic sense, your inability to appreciate the intensity of language in early American and British writing, and of course your ignorance of Romanian folklore, combined with the dearth of creativity so typical in minds of great learning and detail, such as your own. I’m being sarcastic, in case you’re unable to perceive that. There is no human sentiment that is not translatable. Your theory is a hackneyed remnant of anti-Semitic 19th century Biblical scholarsship whose proponents tried to demean every feeling of faith. Of course, I wouldn’t expect a fourth-grade teacher to know that much history.)
Please be courteous enough to other readers to address the issues in the blog.

For the serious reader, I want to say, war is the worst thing that can happen. War is the horror of human relations–the worst of it–except for the abuses of tyranny.
Freedom costs this horrible price of war. That’s what created this grand country of America–war.
If we’re not willing to pay the price, how can we keep the prize?
As the Scottish professor Alexander Fraser Tytler allegedly wrote some time ago, “A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, (which is) always followed by a dictatorship.”
[The quote is questionable, but, who cares in this case? The words make perfect sense. Absolute "democracy" is mob rule. Doesn't work. That's why America is properly referred to as a REPUBLIC, not a "democracy." The ill-conceived ideas of democracy are to a great extent responsible for the decay of American society today.]

There will be a fight. On January 20, our 2nd Amendment rights will face the most anti-gun administration in American history. That’s the long and short of it, and it will be good to have both kinds on hand for the next eight years.
This is an important website kept by an important American leader.

Why America will rise again list:
1.) America was founded by Christian men. God is a jealous God and He’ll get her(America) back one way or another.
2.) The Marines
3.) Army
4.) Navy
5.) Air Force
6.) Coast Guard
7.) Many policemen and firemen
8.) Terrorism, yes, the terrorists will inadvertently create a warrior class in America. Because the wussies in D.C. will be unable to do anything. The military will in effect take over the situation. Think Mumbai but on a grand scale!
9.) Because of #8 the average American and the military will bond like in olden days.
10.) Bloodshed and economic woes will harden the children of God and shine a light in a very dark country.
11.)Heroes and real leaders will rise from the “everyday” ranks.
12.) There are 70 – 80 million people who don’t vote that can! I’ll wager most of them will side with the 50 – 60 million of us who know what’s going on. Another 30 – 50 million Democrats who will get their heads out of said butts and fight or run for protection.
13.) We have a group of men and women who are battle hardened and experienced at insurgency and counter terrorism. Guess who they’ll help with their expertise?!
14.) America is packing a lot of heat!
Number of guns and gun owners in USA.
Most estimates range between 39% and 50% of US households having at least one gun(thats about 43-55 million households). The estimates for the number of privately owned guns range from 190 million to 300 million. Removed those that skew the stats for thier own purposes the best estimates are about 45% or 52 million of american households owning 260 million guns).
14.) Americans will see that what we’ve been peddling all these years is garbage and will be thrown out like such.
15.) Our “leaders” are cowards. They will crumble when it gets hot. Bring some sunblock, it’s going to get really hot.

“I suggest you employ an editor to avoid such glaring grammatical and etymological errors.”
I think I had this teacher when I was taking college grammar!
The last Limey who had a spine said the following which seems appropriate in these times: From WC Churchill:
“If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves. ”
Although I have to say, these times are different times, and this generation is far removed from any generation that actually built something up for the country.
I would not fight for for 99% of this generation.
I also believe one of the major reasons America ever stood above so many Countries in the past was that the level of corruption within our government was lower than that of the other countries. But the times are a changing. No one in Government is there to do anything but ride the system down anymore. They are all crooks, and liars, and the nation is showing the symptons of that fact.
11 David Yeagley // Dec 12, 2008 at 4:42 pm
Excellent, Mr. Adams! Most excellent.
I was recently at a political meeting here in OKC in which a number of elder veterans were present. All were aggreed. They would fight again! God bless them!
(I might add, the topic for public discussion was the matter of the people rising up to resist the government!)
Well, none of us moderners ever believe it would come to that…

Here is what I see happening in the not too distant future. Obama, (peace and blessings be upon him), will open the flood gates for even more immigration from middle eastern countries. Now the liberals can say what they will but the fact remains, violence
specifically directed toward non Islamic women will see a dramatic increase. Indeed, if Europe is any indication we shall experience a shocking amount of beatings, gang rapes and murders. This will occur to such an extent that it will drawf black on white crime by comparison. But as SA pointed out, this terrorism will breed a great amount of animosity between Muslims and the rest of the American people. White Christians and Jews will be the primary targets at first, for they perceive us as the ruling class. However, in time, any other non Islamic group will be fair game. I wonder if all of the other races in America would rise up with us against them?
13 Mike from California // Dec 12, 2008 at 5:38 pm
“White Christians and Jews will be the primary targets at first, for they perceive us as the ruling class.”
Sorry, I did forget to point out that historically Jews and Christians were among the earliest victims of the “Religion of Peace”. They primarily perceive Jews and Christians as less than themselves and, as such, their rightful role is to lord over them. Remember, only two other religions are permitted to coexist along with the “Religion of Peace”, Judaism and Christianity only so long as they accept the social status of a virtual slaves, or Dhimi.

“Never surrender in your heart.”
Whether it is four years or eight years, Obama will come and go and American will survive.
We do have a ‘rendevous with destiny’ and we haven’t even approached the crossroad yet.

This is going to get very ugly very quickly. If the Anointed One is taken down in this latest scandal (along with all of his top advisers), his minions will make sure there are serious riots and mayhem. I think that’s been the goal all along. The Anarchy has reached outrageous proportions– even Bush’s people were talking about Martial law a few months ago. What’s up with that??? They may not know how many guns are out there, but I am sure they can guess that’s there’ a lot of firepower in Patriots’ hands. That’s the only thing that is keeping it in some kind of check.
Whose side will our military take? Will they follow orders to shoot at their own citizens – it’s happened before right there in Washington DC. Is this why BHO wants to have a comparable-sized and funded National Defense force that will patrol America with indoctrinated soldiers who will have no problem in shooting any of us civilians who resist his grand vision?
I don’t know why anyone even puts a value judgment on war – face it – it’s a horrible but consistent part of living on the planet. You have to defend what you believe is worth saving because there’s always someone whose willing to force the issue. The majority will never want their comfort disturbed – they didn’t in the American Revolution and they won’t now. It doesn’t matter. This country was the last best hope on earth and it’s going down the dumper. I’m mad as hell and I can’t take it any more. But I pray that I can come up with something better than just being angry.

Me thinks it’s premature to dream of a great flood when the rain hasn’t actually started and only a few dark clouds are on the horizon. It is the season when men’s thoughts should shift to peace and salvation.
Many men both good and bad have risen in America with great ambitions only to find reality is a double-sided sword.
Was Custer after fame, gold or just born a fool?
Not all Custers are white.
