People are tired of wrong, and wrong doing. Americans are just burnt out on moral outrage. They’re tired of wrong being wrong. It’s a pain. A pain to do anything about.
So, the simple solution: wrong’s not wrong anymore. It just is what it is. It has equal rights to right. There’s too much wrong, and it’s too hard to correct. The American public just gave up this time. This election year was the great give in. The great go with the flow. Wrong’s not so bad, after all. Let it slide. Nothing’s really that bad. It can’t be. Whatever it is, the Clintons got by with if for eight years. (George Bush has been pre-occupied with war in the East for eight years.) And now, Barack Hussein Obama, the alien, black African Communist in in. Hey, he’s cool!
We don’t know where he was born (though allegedly his paternal grandmother says Kenya). We don’t know what country he is actually a citizen of (since he was a citizen of Indonesia and has no record of transferring citizenship to America). And now it seems he forged his American draft registration (a nice fat felon for starters).
But no matter. He’s just a super cool guy. He says nice things. How can he be a bad guy? What could be “wrong” with him? He’s part of a grand movement to save the world. He offers a mild sway for America, a gradual “change” into totallitarian Communism. After all, Communism is the more natural way, and takes absolutely no effort on the part of the people. It’s something you can just set back and relax and watch it happen. The government will take care of it all.
The government will buy out and buy up (or “bail out,” they call it) any and everything it can. Perhaps by the end of B.O.’s first term, the country will have basically arrived. America will not longer be America, but a Communist country merely called “America.” That’s the direction America’s going.
Conservatives are truly in Indian Country now, on psychological reservations. Republicanism is some archaic facade at this point, rotting away as we speak. It is quite unlikely that Republicans will recover from their own neglect and duplicity. I encourage conservatives to hold on to their identity, nonetheless. Indians have survived. Conservatives can too. You have completely foreign government that has swept over you, but, you’re still here. You’re on the same land, you breathe the same air. You’re still you. Never surrender your heart. Never. (If it’s really your heart, you won’t. You’ll never think of it.)
Conservatives can try to rebuild. I don’t think a son of Hindu immigrants (Bobby Jindal) or even a white woman (Sarah Palin) is the answer. I think a White Anglo-Saxon Protestant male is the only hope, if America is ever to be America again. This business of political manipulation through race and gender is like Jakarta shadow puppetry. It is a dance of masks and illusions. Such politics absolutely defies history with the kind of blind arrogance found in rebellious adolescents rejoicing in their newfound powers. It is so obviously mistaken.
It is wrong. But, again, for now, wrong isn’t wrong. In this period of moral and spiritual abandonment, wrong is at least okay. It might even be right–in many people’s minds. It’s the new “equality.” In the first flush of this nonsense, it seems wonderful to many. It seems so very right, in fact.
That’s where we are, right now. We have to listen to the same media people day in and day out, and they certainly have no grip on moral or spiritual reality. They’re wave riders, just like politicians. How else could they make a living? They’re selling a product–their own personality–as employed by their liberal networks. (I’m afraid that includes FoxNews, the conservative facade in the media). Sure, there should be a law that we have to listen to the same anchor only for two weeks, then we get a new one. Talk show hosts should be allowed only two weeks, then be replaced by someone new. There should be no illusion of “friendship” or “faviorites” in the matter of news or news commentary. What a social warp this is, all created by media. But, this will never be corrected.
So, on with the show. On with the flow. Enjoy the wrong. The Clintons did, and do. Hussein was ushered in on the biggest tidal wave of illusion in the history of America. An unidentifiable, alien, black African Communist–in the White House, as president of the United States. Let that be a lesson to all wave riders, all surf riders.
Oh, ye oarsmen who labor ‘gainst the waves, whence cometh thy weariness?
Ye stanchions of the sea, wherefore art thou releaved of thy strength?
Resolve thou to row again, evermore.
Against the tide, against the main, to win the ancient, everlasting shore.
Indeed, the return of freedom shall be long and fearfully awaited. When the people are still revelling in the illusions of freedom, securely funded by their newly “communized” government, they’ll never be motivated to feel otherwise. It will take a terrible shock, a horrific awakening, to make them aware of their plight. We can only hope the American people will be American enough to fight their way back to real freedom, and the glory of individual responsibility, the dignity of manhood, and the honor of being.

” It will take a terrible shock, a horrific awakening, to make them aware of their plight.”
How right you are! I believe that the enemies without will save us from the enemies within. When the hell of jihad is unleashed on our streets and mostly in pro Obama, anti-American big cities they’ll see either a terrified man child in Obama or an indifferent, cold blooded wimp who cares nothing for the sufferings of Americans. He’ll talk soothing words when people want to hear “war! war!”.
Like the nurse who testified before his committee talking of saving the survivors of abortion and saw a “man” who wasn’t moved by the discarding of infants left to die. She left there rattled by his coldness.
Worse yet we’ll see this horrific scene before our eyes on live TV or in person. What will the fortresses of liberalism like NYC, LA, San Fran, Miami, Boston, etc. do when their “hope” is gone and their lives “changed” by jihad?
They’ve run to their god called government. When that god doesn’t answer their prayers it’ll be us “bitter clingers to God and guns” who’ll once again save these pathetic children from the boogie man.
God help us.

SA, I if the situation ever becomes that dire I can only hope that the men of the Western and Southern states will forgive the transgressions of their misguided countrymen and come to our aid. There are more Hispanic illegals in my state than there are white Americans. Other nations are allowed to secure their boarders and restrict their immigration, and yet we are not? Other countries are allowed to defend themselves and their citizens when attacked, and yet we are not? Obama received generous campaign contributions from European groups abroad, who actively participated in his campaign here in the States by the way. Now correct me if I’m wrong here people, but I thought that European intervention in American politics was a little matter that we settled back in 1776?

The greatest threat to America remains the trans-national corporations that Conservatives confuse with Entrepreneurialism. That confusion was built in to the Republican Party starting in 1988 with dribble about a “New World Order” and “A thousand Points of Light”, while the author of these puffy banalities confessed to not being in to the “vision thing.” The Clintons merely stuck their thieving faces in the same corporate troth, just like the Trust Funders, and called their brand of treason, Multi-Culturalism.
It’s the trans-nationals. Everything from the Mexican Invasion, to our failures in the War on Terror, and even our stupidity in dealing with our most dangerous and natural enemy, Russia… it all goes back to 1988.
There has not been an honest and authoritative Conservative Movement since that time. It’s just a Richy Rich Boy party composed of Cupcakes who earned their money the old fashioned way… they inherited it.

Thank you for a great column. “Never surrender your heart” especially appeals to me. The best thing about America is that there is no dictatorship and no monarchy. This government is of, by and for the People. No matter what, it’s 8 years and goodbye for Obama. We have survived worse in the past and this is just another test on our way to our future. God Bless America.By the way, I’m a Black American and I did NOT vote for Obama.

You’re a good man DA. Always have been.
My gut feeling is that this election had little or nothing to do with American blacks. It had to do with OWLs (Oedipal White Liberals) playing their game. Black, liberal or conservative, are not responsible for picking Obama as the candidate. This is where both parties fail, I think. We can’t pick our candidates, or at least, never feel as though we have picked them.
Just because you end up voting for a guy doesn’t mean you wanted him.
As a matter of fact, my local butcher is a young black man, and he was very disappointed that Obama was the candidate. Truthfully, I don’t know a black person who did vote for Obama. ‘Course, I’m living in Oklahoma, last stronghold of American conservatism, they tell us. I’m not completely convinced of that…
Maybe we should go regional first. Each region has its own elections for candidates. Groups of three or four states, and each state puts up it’s own candidate; winner goes to nationals, etc. Instead, they decide this from the top level, and everyone else down the line is supposed to accept it. Same for both parties. Frustrating and alienating, I think.

Hunter, a thousand pardons, but I felt I had to remove your joke. (I have enough enemies! I know just who would have used that joke against me, if they haven’t already.)
Nothing personal.
Carry on!

I think it will be 4 years and goodbye to Hussein Obama – it takes a long time for hard work, savings and earning something to pay off. We will see quickly what happens when entitlement and welfare runamuck…
We had to endure 4 years of Carter to get Reagan!
God Bless America,

They are already talking about bringing back the Fairness Act in radio broadcasting.

Intervention!
Let me interpret what Betty Ann said. Obama (“the white man”) has nothing to offer. It was indeed white people who put him in office.
But, Of course, NOT ALL WHITE people voted for him. Nearly half did not! Certainly, BadEagle.com has never supported Obama, (in spite of the fact that Tall Soldier the Sioux not only supported Obama, but predicted his win, and worse, that the Republican/Media would turn on Palin with a vengeance!).
I’ve deleted things today on the blog here. Sometimes, it’s just good to keep in practice! Ha, ha!
Now, watch what the enemies make of this. “YEAGLEY DELETES BEST SIOUX FRIEND BETTY ANN.” Gotta love it!
Betty, don’t stand for this! Attack!

I started to read the posts here chronologically, but I read the first paragraph of Samual Adams’ where he said “I believe that the enemies without will save us from the enemies within” and I had to stop and respond. This is exactly what I’ve been thinking for the past two weeks. The ultra-liberals will dither while the patriots will step up as they have always done in the past to protect and defend.
